Liberté, égalité, fraternité (and a hard-boiled egg)
With the Council having laid down the groundwork with the Daligig to gain their trust in the uprising, the crew prepared to put on a show, and the Daligig at their wit's end and impatient with the crew of the Transmigation 9, it was time to act.
The plans were clear. Allenby would be leading some of the crew in what looked like a hotheaded attempt the attack the Daligig and Kessek and oust them off the ship. Those that wanted to stay out of the fighting and take a neutral position of some kind were to make sure they stayed safe or acted their parts as the horrified crew-members that wanted everyone to make peace. And of course, anyone else was going to play a roll in pretending to side with the Council and the Daligig to put their fellow crew members down (without hurting them) making it look like it wasn't a clear-cut issue, so the Council could get the command codes necessary to start the crew's true takeover of the ship.
More observant members of the crew had noticed where the Daligig, Ghyll, and Kessek had been entering and leaving the restricted areas of the ship. The attack was to start at one of those entrances, as the fake rebels tried to storm in and take on the Daligig forces. After that, as the Kessek were drawn into the ship itself to put down the rebellion, it was going to be a free-for-all, a faux civil war of sorts, as flashy and convincing as they could make it without anyone actually dying.
Lights! Cameras! Action, people! It was time to put on a show and hope it was convincing enough for the Daligig to give the crew what they needed to truly be free.

Re: Mess Hall
< What do you think you're doing?! > he demanded in public thought-speak, tail arching high over his back. He couldn't help an internal smile, though. He had some vague memories of fighting the shape-shifting Beastboy down on the City. He'd been feverish and raging then, not fighting to his full potential. He'd lost.
< Stand down immediately, this is no way to behave! > he blustered again so that anyone in range could hear. Then, privately to Beastboy, < Shall we have a proper sparring match this time? >
Re: Mess Hall
Honestly BB was just glad that someone came to stop him. He'd feel guilty otherwise.
Re: Mess Hall
Beastboy probably didn't know that this wasn't the first time Ax had fought a T-rex. Of course, last time, it had been a real T-rex, fully intent on eating one of the other Animorphs -- which Ax knew well was the only reason he'd succeeded in killing it before it killed him. Luckily, they don't need quite that much verisimilitude in this fight.
< Eventually, you're going to have to shift down to something else, > he told Beastboy, again in private thought-speak. < I don't want to do to you the damage I'd need to do to that shape to defeat it. >
He lashed out with his tail in the blink of an eye to swat the T-rex across the nose with the flat of his tailblade.

Re: Mess Hall
Of course the lunchroom wasn't normally so full of abandoned food, but Beastboy had set these plates up in advance in an effort to make as much of a mess as possible.
Re: Mess Hall
So much for a proper sparring match -- this was possibly the most ridiculous fight Ax had ever been involved in.
Re: Mess Hall
"They can take our Tofu, BUT THEY'LL NEVER TAKE OUT FREEDOM!" He roared in his not particularly intimidating teenage voice.
Re: Mess Hall
< Put that down and surrender! > he said sharply. < You are behaving ridiculously; what to you and the others think this will prove? You're lucky that Stacy hasn't restrained you yet! >
He lashes out in an eye-blink before Beast Boy can answer, aiming to slap the spatula out of his hand with the flat of his tail blade.

Re: Mess Hall
Beastboy shifted back to his natural form groaning and rubbing his head. "Dude...stars. Neat." He mumbled looking dazed.
Re: Mess Hall
< I think you need to cool off in the Brig, > he said publically. Then, privately, he added. < Go limp, I'm going to pretend to knock you unconscious. >
He swung out with the flat of his tailblade, aiming to stop the blow a millimeters from Beastboy's temple. No point in risking actually causing brain damage to a crew member, after all...
