It had been some time since Bight had been able to fully test himself in combat, a chance to hone his skills in such a manner would not be unwelcome. However the primary reason he had decided to volunteer was to aid the crew in that chance to gain further resources, resources that would be sorely needed should they go through with certain plans within the near future.

Thus it was that the great wyrm bronze dragon in human guise surveyed the rest of those gathered to volunteer. Even those who had just been released would likely have noticed the incident on the observation deck during pod release that had involved two massive dragons. Whether they had noticed just where the Bronze in question had come from at the time was another matter.
