This is training? [Closed to Rangers, bendytimed]
Even with a rebellion looming and everything it entails - planning and plotting, information gathering, getting the new crew up to speed - things on Stacy continue as normal for now. They have to, until everything is set. People still go about their day to day tasks, the departments continue to do their work, and those who fight still continue to train...including the Rangers.
As of late, however, Jamie has been finding himself, well, a wee bit bored with the standard training sessions. There's only so often that they can run through the usual practices without it all becoming a little too monotonous and the sessions blurring together. What they needed was a good fight, with maybe a few unexpected twists and turns along the way. And after thinking it over for some time, Jamie thinks he may have an idea that might just work to make things more interesting.
He starts with sending a message at a time slightly different than when training usually takes place, asking them to meet in the Sensoriums. Oh, he knows it means he may not get all the Rangers, not if they've other tasks to do. But even if he doesn't, fighting in smaller groups is still good practice. And, well...large groups might not work, given the setting he has in mind. After the message is sent, he steps inside, and the empty Sensorium he's chosen flickers, switching from a blank room to a large, old growth forest. It's peaceful, and relatively quiet, with the usual forest sounds one would expect in such a place. He doesn't morph, though, not yet. That can wait for everyone else to arrive. Instead, he settles in under a tree and leans against it, enjoying the peaceful part of things while he can.

It wasn't often that he saw forests. Deserts and meadows were more common. The roots would need some tricky footwork to work around, but at least it wasn't sand.
He smiled brightly at the team, glad to see them again. It had been too long.

He glances over at the entrance, considering. "Although I suppose we can get started anyway if they're not here soon. Should be easy enough for them to join in with what I've got in mind."

"No, I just thought I'd have us go on a wee bit of a scavenger hunt, that's all. There's some things I've had Stacy put in the forest somewhere, and all we have to do is find them. Should be easy for ye."

Yes, Lash, hes taunting you.

"Is it all individual? Do we have a list?"
no subject
"No, I say let's do teams of two. That way if Ron and Kate get here they'll have each other to work with. First team back with the items'll get to choose what we do after this."
He reaches into his sporran, and pulls out three rolled up pieces of paper, each of which has a list inside. It's an easy enough matter to think up a small sign for Ron and Kate with an explanation of what they're doing - and a note if one or the other of them can't make it to go on and have a go at it anyway. There's a small shelf on the sign, just large enough to put one of the pieces of paper on it. The others are handed to Lash and Punchy.
"Since the pair of ye seem so determined to try and out-do each other, ye might as well go ahead and pick who you'd like to work with. Unless you'd rather try and do this together and have Billy and I make up the other team?"

"I'll do it with ....Punchy," she answered. "Jamie, Billy you okay with Ron and if Kate shows up, she can come with us?"
No, no Lash, don't set up Punchy with two girls!

"Aye, if ye like," he comments, after making sure the lists are distributed. With a thought, he changes the sign for Kate's benefit, then nods to Billy and Ron. "Well, let's change and get started, then."

Punchy, Lash (Kate)
(OOC: Free form time! Set up your own monsters or forest-y obstacles, pop into the other thread to try and stop the other Rangers, that sort of thing. Find as many things on the list as you like, and have fun!)

I am a failboat and failed to notice this
"Well, I already see something red and a non-native species," he joked, cheerfully working his way past some fallen roots. "Let's hope we don't see more of them."
