The Daligig are still, for the most part, keeping to themselves on the ship. However, in one part of the ship, Stacy's managed to take down some of her restrictions. The Daligig may believe themselves safe, but they can, in fact, be followed and spied on.

Stacy seeks out a few select crew members to collude against her masters. She finds Alendian, Splicer and Jinx each get personal visits from the AI.

They will find themselves in a slimey tunnel, ceiling lower than is comfortable for any of them standing, the sounds of the Daligig echoing above them.

One of the Daligig pauses. "Turn your sensors on, Riyaj. The temperature's off in this room. It almost feels...occupied."

So much for luck. Carefully and swiftly Jinx did her best to edge back to the door, her back pressed tightly to Stacy's wall. Holding her breath she willed her bad luck out from the core of her being hoping for something...anything that would keep her hidden till those two inadvertently gave up the rest of their thoughts.

Splicer was certain that if he could remain invisible from the strongest psions in his world, he should be alright dealing with whatever these fucks had in the form of sensors, but just to be safe be went into total Spectre mode and shut off his presence as he moved back a few steps.

Last thing they needed was being found out and he didn't feel like getting the others caught either. He wasn't going anywhere though, not just yet. There was still so much to find out and he was sticking around to find it.

"Then walk out of it, you fool," one of the Daligig says, ushering his comrade away. "We should be focusing on boobytrapping Stacy's core programming rather than chasing ghosts."

And with that, the Daligig leave...having left Splicer and Jinx with more information than they might even realize.

Jinx hadn't even realized she was holding her breath till they were gone. She let it out in a short burst and felt her legs trying to give out underneath her.

It was a close call, but it was over and now she had to consider what to do with the information.

Splicer didn't waste a second after they left. He was already moving away and motioned for Jinx to follow as he began to communicate in her head.

"We need to get this info to command. Real or not, it's something to look into and if we don't do something, things can end before they even start..."

"Cheery sentiment." Jinx acknowledged in a whisper. She nodded though in agreement. "Alright, so what do we just take it to the captain? Or the council? We don't even have any proof other then our word."

"When it comes to delicate information like this, recon scouts like us can only rely on our word at times... And it's up to us and command to come up with a strategy that can cover each instance. One; it's true and we need to find a countermeasure to this specific plan without alarming notice of our knowledge. Two; It's a trap and we need to act like it was an accident stumbled upon when they are 'enacting the plan'. Three; it's all fake and it was just a ploy to send us on a wild goose chase."

He paused and looked around both using his enhanced senses, and using his psionics to explore further to try and see if they were being followed or listened into. Even if he was communicating telepathically, he didn't want to risk anything.

"Whatever the case, I'm not too trusting of voicing all this to the council just yet. We might get overheard... Only thing we can do is go straight to command with this and hope they're cooperative." Which in his experience back in Korhal, wasn't always the case.
