A Waffle with a Quaffle [Open, come play! Come spectate and chat!]

It's a beautiful day for soaring in the sky. At least....it's a beautiful simulated day, Cedric corrects himself. He stands in the center of a grassy field, hoops standing tall on either side. Racing brooms that will soon take to the sky with their riders are laid out in neat rows on either side of him, and a case containing the many balls of Quidditch rests at his feet.

He's exchanged the loose-fitted clothing he'd taken up after his injuries for loose-fitting yellow and black robes, and even that small change brightens his mood. Cedric Diggory is in his element. His cheerful, dangerous whirlwind of an element, the finest sport the wizarding world has to offer.

This should be a fun one to watch!

"Thanks!" Kaya said, gripping her broom handle with new found confidence and getting a thrill when she felt the magic touch over her. She felt ready, and definitely pumped to show what she could do!

"I can't wait!"

"All right. So should I assume you'll be on the opposing team, then?" he asked, eying her colors.

"Um, I just wore this because I liked the colors," Kaya confessed. "But if I'm on the opposing team, who's on my team?"

"We can be on the same team if you like," Cedric shrugged, "but we have choices. You might make a good Captain of their team. If others show up, we can pick and discuss it."

Kaya thought about this a moment. It was true, with the apparent lack of enthusiasm for it, the Outsiders had become defunct and the idea of her as a leader had taken a hit. In truth, though, she had never thought she would make a lousy captain.

"In that case, let's see who else joins in and see what they think. I'm game for anything!"
