If they were going to rebel (well, no longer a matter of if; a matter of when), Ildraniath knew that they were going to need more firepower than the average crew member tended to carry on their person. She, of course, had no need of further firepower. Her armor and her mind would serve her well enough. For many of the others, of course, they would need something more. Which was why she was paying a visit to the armory. In theory, Stacy might give her away. However, following that interesting performance at the punishment meeting, Ildraniath had reason to believe that Stacy wasn't about to give the crew away.
A gamble, of course, but Ildraniath was willing to risk it. So, the Eldar was perusing the armory. She tapped a button on her omnicomm and called up a blank document. She was going to need a list. And people to cart it all off later, but for now:
"Stacy. A list of all available small-arms and protable heavy weapons. Powered armor. Ammunition counts. And their effectiveness against heavily armored opponents."
|| Acknowledged, Ildraniath. ||
She bent over the control panel as the lists began to scroll past.
If she was going to do this, she was going to do it properly.

"I've seen people here use the GIA's Thorn Armor once or twice," he said, walking toward where she was bending over her list of weapons. "Though I suppose the question is if it's Daligig technology."
And if so, the question would then be whether the Daligig built little failsafes into their creations. Just to make sure the wearers of such armor didn't try to use it against its designers.

Ildraniath straightened and half-turned to eye Zouichi over her shoulder.
"I see you're doing well. I hope that your recovery hasn't been too painful."
no subject
The smile he gave her was a little rueful. "And it hasn't been. I apologize if I caused you any concern."
no subject
She paused the display's scrolling with the tap of a finger. Her lips quirked in a slight smile.
"I know you're not made of glass, Zouichi. But..."
She let the pause draw out for a moment.
"...I'd be lying i I said I hadn't felt some concern."
no subject
He noted the smile and the pause both. "Well... if it helps, the ship still recognizes me as a crew member. The Kessek wouldn't have been able to inflict any fatal injuries."
Not that it would have stopped him if that guarantee hadn't been in place.

Regardless, Alendian was always looking for orders. Something to just...do. When things were happening around her, she disliked NOT being a part of it, whether it involved humans or not.
"Do you require anything from me."
no subject
"I'm simply reviewing the weapons available for the crew for when we... are required to make use of them. Especially in how we can effectively and quickly distribute them. But..."
She paced for a moment, considering.
"...how do you think we would be able to effectively defeat the kessek and the daligig? You are an aspect warrior, after all. Tell me how you would fight them."
no subject
She pondered for a moment. If she assumed that they were absolutely undefeatable, there were ways.
"...I would eject them into the Warp. It does not matter how strong or smart they are, they would not be able to leave there. D-Cannons or just pulling them along with me would both be effective."

Her fingers flexed slightly as she thought, "But worth looking into."
For a moment her eyes narrowed and then she smiled. It was a rather grim smile and not an especially large one. Tight-lipped, almost forced.
"When we do make our move, I want you to take out their leaders. Get around their defenses. And annihilate the daligig they have in charge. Just because we might be putting on a show doesn't mean we can't actually get rid of a few irritants."

Stepping through the threshold, Celena deactivated the portal, giving a nod Ildraniath's way, "Farseer," she greeted before turning to the control panel to check over the readings for a moment.
"Doing a bit of browsing I assume?" she asked casually without looking up from the gate's control panel.
no subject
"Yes. Although I'm afraid you have an advantage on me. You are...?"
Ildraniath hated being at a disadvantage.

"Celena Vantari, I don't believe we've had the chance of a proper introduction," She replied by way of introduction as she turned to face the Farseer.

Ildraniath tried not to betray too much of her own emotions when she talked to people. But she was rather curious - she extended a little mental probe. Who was this woman? Unknown variables made her... slightly anxious.
That was a good way of putting it.
"What is it you'd like?"

"Wonder if they have any AERODS in here. Or some Omegasol."
Peering at the other person in the armory, she bows a bit and continues looking about.

"The sooner you realize this and come to terms with it the better. You may not trust her, but you do have to acknowledge how much control she has over this ship."

"Oh, Councilor Furball sent me to talk to you. So I guess I'm talking to you."

"Why would she send you? And what does she want?"

"Anyway, what did our good councilor want?"
