Demonstrative healing [semi-open]
Who: Closed to Faiza initially, open to others after that.
Where: Sensoriums
Summary: Bight has an appointment with Faiza to demonstrate his abilities on the healing side of things. Afterwards he may hang around for any who wish to bother him.
Warnings: Potential sensorium simulated injuries, otherwise none.
After his short conversation with Faiza, he had set his afternoon aside to provide the new head of Medical a proper demonstration of his abilities of a restorative nature. Such an appointment provided something of a break from his assistance in the reconstruction efforts, having thrown himself into assisting in both his draconic and human forms after his decision to step down from the council.
Having made his way to the sensoriums he had conjured up a familiar sight, the entirety of Sanction spread out before his vantage point near the ruins of the temple of Deurghast, positioned a portion of the way up the side of Mount Ashkir. The mouth of the Sanction harbour easily visible off to the left, steam ever rising from the motes of lava that met the sea both to the north and south of the harbour. The lava motes in question ringing near the entirety of the vale of Sanction, originating from the three vast volcanoes that had plagued the city with ash and fire prior to his arrival.
Though he himself had little on him besides his golden tunic and leather pants, beside him on the ground sat two small backpacks that appeared to be made of fine leather. They were in fact a pair of handy haversacks that he had discovered in his vault, two that he had thought that the medical department could see much use of for the transport of vital supplies from location to location.
Thus there he waited, patiently as he contemplated the city that had been his home for the last fourty years, one that he had poured his efforts to bring it to the state of prosperity it was shown to have before the Ohm had intervened.

"Coun..." She paused, shaking her head. "Not Councilor anymore, right? Is it Lord Bight, then?" She walked over, then paused as she got a look at where they were. "Oh. Is this your city?"
no subject
He shook his head slightly in return, dismissing the false start with a smile "Indeed not, Lord Bight is fine, or Crucible should you prefer," He replied as he turned to her, his confident manner seeming unshaken in the least as he cast a smile across to her before dipping his head and sweeping a hand out to gesture to the city below, "Welcome Faiza, I give you the lord city of Sanction, as it stood before the Ohm intervened,"
no subject
She looked around, then chuckled. "I feel like I'd fit in much better in my chain."
no subject
He chuckled as he looked across to her, "I've little doubt that you would, Sanction is a city of a great many cultures and people, one where near anyone can find a place," Indeed amongst the streets of the city below examples of that could be seen from the variety of humans that walked the streets to the occasional dwarf, even a minotaur or a draconian could be spotted amongst the crowds.
"I would be happy to show you around, should you be interested when we have more time," He offered as he turned finally away from the sight before them to the large open area behind them that the pass up to the ruined temple provided.

With a thought he summoned forth from the sensorium a line of soldiers in unmarked uniforms, each with successively worse injuries, "My abilities in healing can range from healing minor inconveniences such as small cuts and bruises to severe injuries, as well as healing groups of individuals in need. Have you any preference on which you would wish to observe first?"
no subject
Which, honestly, the change in scene helped with. Her stance shifted slightly, going from nervous and talkative to more business like. "Honestly, I tend not to worry about the inconveniences unless we're in a situation where the blood would be more of a problem than leaving it would solve. There may be better things to save the power for." She looked over the injured, tamping down on the urge to help herself. "I think I'd like to know about the group healing. I assume that takes a fair bit more power?"
no subject
He took particular not at her shift in stance, approving of her easy switch when business was at hand. "Indeed, you are correct, such small inconveniences can easily heal on their own, to heal such things takes very little power, but nevertheless better saved for larger endeavors,"
With a nod he gestured for the group to gather to within thirty feet of one another, "It does take a far greater amount of power than the majority of my lesser abilities individual healing abilities, however doing so does not drain me greatly," he explained before he gestured to the group before him and muttered a short sentence in the draconic tongue.
A soft glow of healing energies flowed amongst the crowd of injured healing a great number of their wounds and easing the wounds of those with more serious injuries, all nineteen of the soldiers gathered in that area received his healing even as he spoke again, "You are welcome to examine them, though the healing is substantial it can only heal so much at once, greater injuries would require equally greater attention. Nevertheless as long as they are grouped within a relatively short distance of one another I can heal up to an equal gathering of individuals of similar number,"
no subject
She stood up after a moment, looking around. "I assume healing a single individual is similar?"
no subject
"For the individual healing of lower power than the mass healing, indeed, however there are two of greater power above and beyond the mass healing," With a gesture he summoned up a grievously injured soldier on the ground before them, crouching by him he gave Faiza a moment to examine him. It would be clear that the soldier was on the very edge of death, with injuries that even immediate medical attention of any normal variety would not be able to save.
Closing his eyes briefly Bight summoned forth his power, speaking a slow sentence in draconic before he lay a hand on the poor soldier's chest, a glow suffusing the wounds of the soldiers body as they rapidly closed, muscle and bone mending, cuts closing and colour returning to the soldier's face. The soldier's eyes snapping back open, before promptly sitting up then standing easily, with no sign of weariness or fatigue in the least from his injuries. "This spell is the greatest of my direct healing abilities, it will restore an individual from even an inch away from death and heal them of near all wounds, as well as rid them of any fatigue, any mental enfeeblements they may have sustained and rid them of most poisons or disease,"
no subject
Seeing the severely injured soldier brought a glow of power to Faiza's hands, though she tamped it down. The purpose of the exercise was to see what Lord Bight could do. The effect of the spell, though, made her rock back on her heels. "Well. That's very impressive."
no subject
At her reaction to the full extent of the spell he dipped his head, his confidence in his own ability was not unfounded in the least after all, "It is quite powerful indeed, however I can only use such powerful a spell only half a dozen times a day give or take before its toll becomes to great,"
"The one ability of greater power than the last focuses not on direct healing, but on removing and restoring lost vitality to an individual, be it from exhaustion, sapping from poisons and disease or otherwise and removes a great many forms of insanity, confusion and other such mental effects, be they of magical nature or otherwise. However that spell requires a much greater investment of my energies, and is best saved for only the most dire circumstance,"
no subject
She paused, considering. "That last ability is definitely one that could be of use. We don't know what sort of people Stacy has picked up, after all, and I think there has been trouble before with...unbalanced individuals. Knowing that, if such an individual were a threat to the crew, there may be a way to help them would be...invaluable."
no subject
"Indeed, it is a great unknown among the crew. Such instabilities can remain dormant, unseen by most. In such a situation, my abilities may well aid in balancing, stabilizing the mind and putting them on the path to recovery. I would gladly lend my aid in such a situation," He replied sincerely though with no lack of confidence, "Should you have any further questions as to the spells and abilities in question, do not hesitate to ask,"
no subject
She looked at the soldiers, biting her bottom lip for a moment as she considered that. "I don't think I have any questions at the moment. Though I thank you for leaving the option open for me at a later date." It was entirely possible she could think of questions later.
no subject
"You are welcome, Faiza, before we go on however I do have something to offer for use of your department, something that may prove of use where transport of supplies is required," He spoke even as he stepped back and scooped up one of the bags he had set down, "Though they may look ordinary, these packs can hold far more than at first glance, and weigh no greater for it," As if to demonstrate, Bight opened the main portion of the haversack and reached within, further than it seemed the bag extended.
no subject
Then he started talking about the bags and her interest was piqued. Especially when he started reaching into the bag. She crouched down, pulling the bag open so that she could see he wasn't just curling his arm down into it. "Oh, that's brilliant," she murmured. "I could have used that during my studies." Since uni books were always so damned heavy. "But that could very much be of use for us. We're working on getting some packs together for use in medical teams, but these would be very useful for getting even more supplies planetside if we have another fight like that last one against the Ohm."
Sorry for the delay!
"Indeed, it is for those reasons that I offer these haversacks to your department, better to have them serve a greater purpose than gathering dust in my vault," He replied with dip of his head and a chuckle, "If I find anything else that may be of greater use to your department I shall send it your way, for now those, these are yours," Gesturing to the bags before looking back to her.
"Now then, onto another matter, the updating of my medical records to take into account the abilities of this form and my true form in relation to my ability shapeshift, would you wish demonstration and to take notes here, or would it be best to return to the Medical bay afterwards?"
