Blood Gulch... Or Is It?

Church was not a very happy 'ghost'/AI on this day in the city. "You have to be fucking kidding me. This they saved? Unbelievable." Church was staring at the roof of the small building in as disbelief as the AI could. The building was the Blue Base from Blood Gulch though Church hasn't gone inside it yet, almost as if he didn't want to.

"I swear if Sister is in there, I'm going to shoot someone."

"Doesn't look familiar," said the fellow in somewhat more antiquated power armor. He'd been poking around the City after his return, and wound up here. "What is it, anyway?"

The cobalt-colored AI groaned inwardly, but he was grateful it wasn't Grif at the moment. "What does it look like? Blue Base. At least for anyone who stayed at Blood Gulch."

"Can't say I was ever stationed there," said Roger. "Doesn't look like any government architecture I know, either. Not that that means much, around here."

Church was a bit taken back by this armored person. He was used to people ignoring him, not listening to him. "Trust me, you'll wish you never heard of it. It's a box canyon in the middle of nowhere."

"Now that sounds like places I've been," said Roger. The blue suit got a curious look. "But, uh.... somehow I doubt it's any of them. That's not War Department issue you've got there, not that I've ever seen."

Oh, hey, it's that ghost person from before.

Carson walks up, staring at the building. "Something from your world, aye?"

Carson has in his hand a device which is beeping.

((OOC: The device is a life-signs detector. I'm not sure if Church has a life sign.))

"So am I."

Grif was down in the city, because down in the city wasn't up on the obs deck. People may-or-may-not have been using the couches and making it necessary for Grif to find somewhere else to bum around.

Church was used to the people in the city by now bothering him, so Grif showing up was not really a surprise. An annoyance but not a surprise.

"Tell me about it, Red. I can't believe some of the stuff that came out of her mouth when she was at Blood Gulch."

"Don't tell me. Please."

He looked up at the base and exhaled. It wasn't quite a sigh, it was a thinking noise.

"Stacy saved like a million zombies that busted loose and tried to kill us all. This shithole showing up again doesn't surprise me anymore."

"Do I look like Tucker?" Church said in irratation. "She what? That's seriously messed up."

"Consider it a warning. Messed up is everything that this ship is."

Grif shrugged.

"There's some bullcrap that everyone here has to get a physical examination. What about that?"

[whyarewehere]

"I don't know, medical's a bunch of weirdos anyway. You're not even alive though so I have no idea what they'd want with you."

"Tell me about it." Church replied in mild irratation (well mild for him anyway). "I'm a motherfucking ghost, I don't even know what they'd want with me. I have no blood. What are you doing here anyway?"

He eyed Church. "What are you doing here?"

Yeah that was totally an answer to the question.

"It's my fucking base in the city, Red. It's the same as calling dibs."
