Sobek the Immortal: Bringing a God to His Knees [Closed]
Who: Daniel Jackson, Vala Mal Doran, Eva, The Master, Eleventh Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon
Where: Kalimba (planet side)
Summary: A small crew goes on an archaeological expedition to a jungle planet, where System Lord was imprisoned. Taking Daniel as his host, he captures the crew and tortures them, while rebuilding his fleet.
Warnings: Violence, torture, gore
((Part One and Part Two here))
As time drew on, there was no sign of Stacy, rescue parties or of a single landing pods. The typhoon season approached closer with each day, rain and wind spattering the leaves on some days, varying between intense heat and humidity on other days. The megafauna in the jungles had grown more active too. The earth rumbled under their feet as they starting their migration amidst hooting calls and croaks. Throughout the varying weather, one thing remained constant. The hive of activity around the three step pyramids never ceased, slaves either taking shifts or in the most fanatical cases, working themselves near to death or to death. It was like this all across Kalimba. The call had gone out with the instructions for the slaves: work was to begin on restoring the Crocodile God's fleets underneath each step pyramid all across the planet. They were his Chosen, his Children, and he would ensure they were rewarded for their faith.
The complex swarmed with slaves and guards moving weapons and parts. Sobek and his personal guards were also in and out more often as the fleet began to take shape, often traveling to other sites to check on progress. Stones fell away from each ship as far as the eye could see. More and more of each ha'tak was revealed, while lines of human bodies went inside to work on the interiors. If the number of step pyramids that towered through the jungle were any indication, his fleet would be massive.
((same as Part 2: run your own posts with each other, more private threads with Sobek are available at the start. Part 3 does not have to immediately include end-plot stuff. If you want more CR amongst each other or your character being messed with by Sobek, please do!))

It was just as much a struggle to get Daniel lifted up and into the sarcophagus. The lid slid closed, the same as it had before. Yet this time with Kalimba ending above them, it seemed too slow.

Once closed she slumped over the top of it, not even mustering the energy to sit down next to it. If she sat, she feared she'd never get up again. There wasn't much time, the sarcophagus buzzed beneath her making far more noise than any she'd seen or used previously. It worried her, was it doing its job properly? The seconds seemed to last minutes and the minutes felt like an hour. Her head resting on its lid, she felt herself drifting into an exhaustion drugged sleep. Each time fighting to keep her eyes open before they threatened to flutter closed again. The machine made a sudden thudding noise from beneath her which roused her into alert mode again. Was it done? She had no idea how much time had passed, or was it simply malfunctioning?
Her questions were answered when she saw the crack in the floor of the chamber, it hadn't been the sarcophagus at all. The room around them was starting to open up like a chasm, at first just a hairline crack but it wouldn't be long until they were swallowed up with it. She could see the gap widening even as she stood watching with a rising urgency.
"Daniel?" She shouted, not even considering he wouldn't be able to hear her. It must have been long enough now? These things needed digital progess displays on the outside she thought. Turning back to the crack in the floor it had already spread by a few inches just in the time she'd turned her back on it.
There was no other choice, Vala pushed at the mechanism to open it, banging it with a panicked fist and waited.

The device opened reluctantly, too early, letting out a thin hiss of cold air. Daniel lay there, as pale as he had been going in, but blue eyes cracked open blearily. He was alive. He was supposed to be dead. His heart thudded sluggishly in his chest, every single beat making itself uncomfortably known. His breath rattled then began to even out.
His eyes found Vala standing over him. And everything rushed back. Not Vala. The Crocodile God looming instead. Sobek had taken her and discarded him like an old set of clothes. Oh God. She was his now and as it turned out, the God wasn't done with him. The fear began to blossom into a panicked terror. He'd only mentioned the possibility to Howard back on the dig, that you could use the sarcophagus as something else, like a method or torture, but now it looked like he was about to experience it in full. Sobek would torture him until it killed him, resurrect him and do the same, over and over. Vala would have to see all of it.
Daniel tried to wildly push her away, but the cycle had been interrupted too early. His hand hit the sarcophagus limply.

To someone who thought she was Sobek, it was probably incredibly disconcerting to put it mildly.
"Well?!" She asked impatiently when the only response she received was a pathetic hand movement. "Can you move? Or do you need longer? Because if you do, it's not really an option."

Daniel had been with Sobek long enough and intimately enough to know what he was thinking. The look on Vala's face was something he could never pull off. Or at least, that's what he was hoping for. The System Lord had proven himself disturbingly adept at using his body as a weapon, and his mannerisms, so why not Vala? But he would have figured the Crocodile God to have a look of arrogance and triumph plastered all over that mouth if it was him, along with the darker twisting need for rending and tearing that had lurked in them both for months.
He didn't think he saw it in Vala. Why would Sobek need him alive or moving quickly? He should have all the time in the world. Daniel fumbled at obeying. He turned his hands towards gripping the sarcophagus edge, clumsily pulling up himself and slowly, out. That was where his control faltered. Daniel ended up barely clearing the device in something that was more of an uncontrolled stagger. The ornate train and gold that clung to his hips weren't helping.
"You're you?" Daniel asked, voice small and hoarse.

"Yes I'm me. At least I hope I'm me, I can't be sure if he's unconscious or dead. But I'm me for now." Explanations, she's great at them. "We need to get out of here, Daniel and fast. I'll explain on the way." Vala slung his arm over her shoulder and immediately started towards the door even as the crack opened up more at the far side of the room. It was spreading up the wall and threatening to split the entire room in two. Hopefully he'd find his feet sooner rather than later, because she wasn't sure how long she could take his weight for like this.
