Sobek the Immortal: Bringing a God to His Knees [Closed]
Who: Daniel Jackson, Vala Mal Doran, Eva, The Master, Eleventh Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon
Where: Kalimba (planet side)
Summary: A small crew goes on an archaeological expedition to a jungle planet, where System Lord was imprisoned. Taking Daniel as his host, he captures the crew and tortures them, while rebuilding his fleet.
Warnings: Violence, torture, gore
((Part One and Part Two here))
As time drew on, there was no sign of Stacy, rescue parties or of a single landing pods. The typhoon season approached closer with each day, rain and wind spattering the leaves on some days, varying between intense heat and humidity on other days. The megafauna in the jungles had grown more active too. The earth rumbled under their feet as they starting their migration amidst hooting calls and croaks. Throughout the varying weather, one thing remained constant. The hive of activity around the three step pyramids never ceased, slaves either taking shifts or in the most fanatical cases, working themselves near to death or to death. It was like this all across Kalimba. The call had gone out with the instructions for the slaves: work was to begin on restoring the Crocodile God's fleets underneath each step pyramid all across the planet. They were his Chosen, his Children, and he would ensure they were rewarded for their faith.
The complex swarmed with slaves and guards moving weapons and parts. Sobek and his personal guards were also in and out more often as the fleet began to take shape, often traveling to other sites to check on progress. Stones fell away from each ship as far as the eye could see. More and more of each ha'tak was revealed, while lines of human bodies went inside to work on the interiors. If the number of step pyramids that towered through the jungle were any indication, his fleet would be massive.
((same as Part 2: run your own posts with each other, more private threads with Sobek are available at the start. Part 3 does not have to immediately include end-plot stuff. If you want more CR amongst each other or your character being messed with by Sobek, please do!))

Re: [Jamie and Eva]
Low is, at least, better than zero. Eva holds the door so that even broken, it doesn't make any sound against the ground. It's only their luck that the Jaffa hasn't turned around or heard anything. Eva eyes up her enemy, back turned to them. She looks back over to Jamie and mouths, do you have anything sharp?
Re: [Jamie and Eva]
He takes a quick inventory of his remaining tools. The wire stripper/cutter might work - it's got pointed edges, as does a small pair of needle-nosed pliers. Or there's the flat-head screwdriver, although that doesn't have much of a cutting edge to speak of. There's a small leather case with a snap closure on it in there as well, one that Jamie doesn't remember using before. Curious, he pulls it out, and quietly thumbs it open to reveal a small utility knife. A crooked smile appears on his face, and he holds it up so she can see it, mouthing back will this do?
[violence warning!]
She presses a finger to her lips in a shush motion to Jamie, and walks quietly, heel-to-toe, up to the Jaffa's back. She leans to look around him - he appears to be the only guard. Perfect.
Eva's hand whips out, fast as a cobra, to reach up and cover the Jaffa's mouth. And more terrifyingly, she plunges the screwdriver into the side of his neck. The Jaffa thrashes forward, trying to whirl around on the sudden attack, but Eva's hand comes down again, this time with the pliers to the back of his neck, barely avoiding the spine and instead diving deep into flesh. Eva shoves him down to the ground - no need to cover his mouth when he's too busy choking on his own blood and the sharp instruments embedded in his body to call for help - and buries the knife in his throat.
She wouldn't have been able to do that had he been paying attention. She knows she won this fight purely by the element of surprise, and that he would have overpowered her easily if she hadn't made such a impactful first strike, but it still feels like a victory. And she'll take what she can get.
"Let's go, let's go!" If they're trying to get a larval Goa'uld, Eva hopes to god Jamie knows where in the body it is. She doesn't want to have to dissect him, and god only knows what they're going to do with this body. Maybe they'll be punished for attacking a guard. Maybe Sobek won't care. He undoubtedly won't be able to piece together their long-shot of a plan, if only because it's such a ludicrous idea that it wouldn't occur to a reasonable person.
Re: [violence warning!]
It's apparent there's no one nearby, at least not close enough that it's going to cause problems, but who knows when that will change? When the body of the Jaffa hits the floor, Jamie darts back to Eva's side, covering the short distance in almost no time at all.
The problem is, he doesn't know where a larval Goa'uld would be. Shiva was too busy passing as Kawalsky to let any secrets like that slip - and Jamie was never close with the man to start with. He's beginning to think they may very well have to dissect the the guard when he happens to spot something out of place, hidden by the clothing. He quickly removes the belt or sash or whatever it is in the way, revealing a 'x' like shape on the abdomen of the Jaffa. It's rising and falling, even though the Jaffa's not breathing, and Jamie flicks a look over at Eva. Seems like they have might have their larval Goa'uld after all.
Jamie grabs the utility knife out of the man's throat. It's not ideal, but it'll have to do. Fortunately, he has enough experience with hunting and butchering animals he's able to get the pouch and its contents free. They'll likely still need the fluid to sustain it for any length of time, but hopefully the pouch will provide enough protection until they can get there. Lacking any other container, he dumps the remnants of his took kit into the sporran, where they vanish in the extra-dimensional space. The larval Goa'uld, pouch and all, goes into the toolbox. That's not ideal either, but it's better than carrying it around in his bare hands.
"Aye, let's go," he says to Eva, voice pitched low. "We need to get that fluid-stuff to keep this alive."

She waits for the flames to eat up the skin on the man's abdomen before going to join Jamie in delivering the goods to the Doctor. The smell of burning meat wafts down the hallway behind her. It makes her feel sick. She's lost far too much of herself in this prison, or possibly opened up too much she didn't want to acknowledge.
As such, she keeps close to Jamie. At the moment he's her rock, whether he knows it or not.
no subject
When she comes back, he passes over whatever out of them she wants to take - partially because he's fairly certain that she's not about to let him play protector in this case, and partially so he can take a second to give her a comforting squeeze with his hand, if she lets him. It's all they have time for before he leads them off down the hall, in search of the protective fluid, the Doctor's sonic screwdriver, and his morphers. He's still not sure where the first one his...but he may have an idea where the others are. And that's the direction he heads, keeping a wary eye out for any other guards along the way.
Maybe, they'd be lucky and things would be uneventful, but he's not about to count on that happening.
