Sobek the Immortal: Bringing a God to His Knees [Closed]
Who: Daniel Jackson, Vala Mal Doran, Eva, The Master, Eleventh Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon
Where: Kalimba (planet side)
Summary: A small crew goes on an archaeological expedition to a jungle planet, where System Lord was imprisoned. Taking Daniel as his host, he captures the crew and tortures them, while rebuilding his fleet.
Warnings: Violence, torture, gore
((Part One and Part Two here))
As time drew on, there was no sign of Stacy, rescue parties or of a single landing pods. The typhoon season approached closer with each day, rain and wind spattering the leaves on some days, varying between intense heat and humidity on other days. The megafauna in the jungles had grown more active too. The earth rumbled under their feet as they starting their migration amidst hooting calls and croaks. Throughout the varying weather, one thing remained constant. The hive of activity around the three step pyramids never ceased, slaves either taking shifts or in the most fanatical cases, working themselves near to death or to death. It was like this all across Kalimba. The call had gone out with the instructions for the slaves: work was to begin on restoring the Crocodile God's fleets underneath each step pyramid all across the planet. They were his Chosen, his Children, and he would ensure they were rewarded for their faith.
The complex swarmed with slaves and guards moving weapons and parts. Sobek and his personal guards were also in and out more often as the fleet began to take shape, often traveling to other sites to check on progress. Stones fell away from each ship as far as the eye could see. More and more of each ha'tak was revealed, while lines of human bodies went inside to work on the interiors. If the number of step pyramids that towered through the jungle were any indication, his fleet would be massive.
((same as Part 2: run your own posts with each other, more private threads with Sobek are available at the start. Part 3 does not have to immediately include end-plot stuff. If you want more CR amongst each other or your character being messed with by Sobek, please do!))

Re: Jamie/Master/Sobek
Jamie cried out, and the Master sighed a little in relief. He loved these little moments of release-- and so did the drums. Every bit of pain the boy endured eased some of the pressure in his own head. It had been far too long...
Too long he'd been imprisoned, held back. Stifled. To be allowed to run rampant through this ape's mind, to be free! That was... well, groovy.
The Master smiled as the Doctor's fingers curled around Jamie's temples-- and then just as quickly frowned in confusion. The Doctor's fingers. The Doctor's rage, and joy. And vicious disdain. So, Jamie had been host to many intrusions, and not just by his hand. Just like Daniel.
The pieces began to pull together.
"Didn't realize he actually had it in him," the Master murmured, slightly out of breath. Slightly in awe.
Re: Jamie/Master/Sobek
"I'll share with you what I see, Jamie. After all, we're such good friends."
And then a torrent of sensation rushes in, sights and sounds and smells that Jamie couldn't put a words to even if he wanted. Generally it's a blur of agony, his mind unable to cope with the massive influx, but a few memories seem to stick. Mostly stuff dealing from a time when the Doctor was still a funny little man with unkempt hair who liked to wear oversized clothing along with his bowtie, but here and there are other things, like a sense that the TARDIS is alive somehow, which Jamie hadn't really picked up on during his previous travels. Mostly, though, it is pain, the Doctor/Darksoul enjoying it immensely until he determines that enough is enough and drops Jamie to the floor, the Scot barely conscious.
But the Darksoul is long gone, trapped by the exorcists back on Stacy and its malgin influence no longer steering the Doctor's course of action. Would any of it be immediately useful to Sobek?
Re: Jamie/Master/Sobek
The Master digs in unconsciously, reveling in this new information. Oh, he'll taunt the Doctor with this for ages, how easily his mind was breached. Easy as a human's. They'll have loads to talk about.
And then the image shifts slightly. The Doctor's hands are still on Jamie's head, but moving. And covered in paint. And Jamie's hands on the Doctor's...
It's a marriage ceremony, the Master realizes. He knows this because Jamie knows this.
He lashes out perhaps a bit more viciously than he has to, forcing Jamie's conscious mind to look at this, to explain.
Tell me.
Re: Jamie/Master/Sobek
Orongo. It was a mission, to retrieve an artifact that would help them find the Tapestry that now resided in one of the Sensoriums, so far away from where they were now. It was in the Sacred City, and unless you were a religious sort, the only way to gain access was, well, to be married.
Billy and Kaylee - his best friends on the ship, other than the Doctor - were there, discussing the situation. Victoria, at the time, was a memory, someone who had left years ago and Jamie thought would never return. Kaylee was who he liked then, although it was entirely one sided, and the memories of the feeling bubble up to the surface, a curl of jealousy working its way in as he knew she was going to pick Dean for the ceremony.
Then, realization. When they had been told to pick someone back on the ship to partner up with, someone they trusted, it had been so they could take place in the ceremony. Jamie had picked the Doctor. Despite the Darksoul having taken over and forced its way into his mind, despite the damage done, he had forgiven what had happened. It wasn't the Time Lord's fault, after all. The Darksoul was powerful, and had taken over others in the crew. And there was the fact Jamie had traveled with the Doctor for years - the merest fraction of time to the Master, who had known the Doctor for centuries. But to a boy who was barely twenty back then, with all the shortsightedness of a human when it came to time...well, it seemed like a substantial part of his life.
So as the Doctor joins them, right in the middle of his very stubborn denials that about not marry the Doctor, he abruptly relents, knowing the Doctor should be one of the ones to get in the city and have a chance to get the artifact.
There's a skip forward again, back to the Doctor's hands on his face, Jamie obligingly closing his eyelids so lines can be painted over them. And then another, smaller skip, to the ceremony. Very pretty, with swirling lights joining and a priest officiating, but it's all a sham, not really binding...or is it?
