Roaming, restless [After Dungeon Keeper]

Morgan was restless.

When restless, he tended to roam the ship, checking on things he knew of, or seeking out places he didn't out of curiosity. Today was a little of both. After the pitched battle in Hydroponics, he felt a particular obligation towards one plant in particular: the apple tree he'd helped Applejack grow from a seed. For all that he'd done his best to contain Hydroponic in the fight, he hadn't been able to do anything specific to protect that plant.

Done there, he headed back down in the City, off to one particular place that had caught his interest when he had heard about it: an 'air temple'. Not on the map, not listed in the directory, or he'd have wandered over just to take a look a long time ago. Now that he'd heard about it, well...

Time to investigate.

"The States, if you want to be very specific." Janet replied and crossed her legs in mid-air while her wings buzzed behind her.

This left Morgan with the entirely unexpected dilemma of if it was at all proper to check out the legs of a flying size-shifter. Which was not at all a terrible dilemma to have, he had to admit. "Oh, me too, originally! Way back when."

"That's awesome! I live in New York City, what about you?" Jan then saw that he was still standing and she flew over to a rock bench.

"I think it would be better to sit down while we chat." She then grew back to her original human size since it would be a little difficult to maintain a conversation looking down.

"Delighted to," he said with a smile as he joined her on the bench. Interesting to watch her change like that. She just seemed so fluidly used to shifting. Morgan could appreciate that. "I technically lived in Pittsburgh, though actually I'd been living off-world for a few years."

"Off world? In a space ship? Cool! I've been off-world before too," Jan replied and remembered Tony Stark's ship, the technology, the new Asgardian armor and a small smile graced her face.

"Another world entirely, actually. And the means we used to get there were more mystical than technologicial. It was... a nexus world. A place where it was possible to reach countless worlds, through portals or just plain bad luck, or be drawn from those worlds in turn." But it had been home, for all its quirks and oddities, and he missed it.
