Mindy let this happen, because if there was anyone that she could be this honest and herself with, it was Ruffnut. The walk felt like nothing really, and everything else seemed to disappear now, except for the two of them. She held onto Ruffnut tightly though, and barely noticed when they were on the sofa.

Losing dad had been horrible. Losing him AND finding out Negi and Sasami were gone hurt fucking more. She cared very much for those two, and losing them was like a kick in the teeth. The tears didn't stop, but Mindy finally felt like she could manage to say something.
