There was only one destination in mind when the war started: work. Billy had dashed down to the transportation tubes, arriving on the first floor when he'd hit a snag: a robot swarm already assaulting the Med Bay and Special Weapons. But that wouldn't stop him: his coworkers and friends could be there, and the lab could easily hold the key to fighting back. He'd struggled and shoved his way through, roughed up very well by the time he crossed the threshold of his lab.
The hordes were closing in. Only his guns and a narrow doorway stood between Billy and death, and so far it seemed that death was gaining the upper hand. Would there ever be time to cobble together a better solution or escape? He doubted it. Not unless help arrived for them.
(ooc: Defend the laboratory? Your characters can be trapped with Billy rigging together some kind of defense system or trying to get through to him. If it gets bad, though, they might all have to escape and blow up the tech...)

"Don't tell me those missile pods just for show."

The blast lit up the area in an instant; a bloom of diffuse energy sent a mass of the robots in front of the Bigfoot's legs flying. That didn't stop the robots who hadn't gotten caught in the blast from crushing forward as quickly as they could, but it was a temporary reprieve.

"How did we not notice any of these before? I swear if we survive this, I'm going to comb the ship from head to toe, starting with the city first!"

Zouichi continued clearing robots from their path left and right, instinctively covering for the machine's bulkiness and blind spots. "I'm willing to bet most of this was kept in restricted areas, anyway." His faith in the ship could be more or less described as 'relatively nonexistent'.

"I need to install arms on this thing next time. Gwah! What a piece of junk." The fact Lash was complaining was a good sign, in any case. If the situation was really dire, she would have become completely silent.

Similarly, he didn't talk much either when there was too much going on. But he could handle talking and shooting robots at the same time. "You have something in Special Weapons to use against these guys?"

"And yeah, I need to get some coils and wires to see what we can do with Wheatley," she explained. "We're gonna try branching him into the network. From what I understand, he was created to dumb down GLaDOS, I'm hoping we can do the same for SHODAN or at least keep her distracted."
In other words, they were going to turn Wheatley into the multiverse's most annoying spam advertisement.

He spared a glance at Lash. "Is that what he was created for? You're not worried she'll destroy him?"

Even if he's kind of annoying,I'd rather not see anything happen to him."He paused for a moment, hesitating. "If you need someone to help out, let me know. Hacking into computer systems is basically one of Fuyu's core functions."
