Is Your Love Strong Enough? Part 6 - The Final Scratch
Such a strange occurrence needed, finally a conclusion. Thanks for the Time Lord's trinket gift, there was suddenly an old, fearsome creature made of gears, it's old features squeaking (although not as bad as before, since a certain someone had given him a good oil job). Analog, the fearsome creature known by some as a the crankiest Time Dragon, walked in the city to find out o where Eleven was. She could smell him even in here, you see (wow that's creepy). Flanked by her three handmaidens, the women giggling like schoolgirls at everything, memorized at the ship. The city could hold her well, for all her large size.
First step - Find the Doctor, ask him what he wants. Step two - Do that. Step three - Get out of here.
She still was a Time Dragon, after all. Proud....and cranky. These boring old puny humanoids were nothing as the greatness of HERSELF so the sooner they were our of her mind, the better.
[OOC - Done! Go for it.]

Mindy was already there with Ruffnut in tow. Mindy looked more relaxed than she had in days: her hair was up in pigtails, she was actually wearing jeans and a T, and she was even eating a little bit of halloween candy.
When she saw the scene, she very audibly snickered. "Let me guess: its not working for them even a little bit, huh?"

Then the book glared at Mindy. "See, I TOLD you demon mana power shouldn't mix with human mana power!"

It was a worry she was powerless to do anything. Science could only do so much, after all.

Either way she was munching away and not sharing as she watched the emotional back and forth unfold breaking the silence only to say, "I kinda think she's took good for him." She was joking really. Totally.

She was NOT going to get in his face like Sakura: she wasn't his freaking mother for Christ's sake. If she could figure out Ruffnut was someone she couldn't bear to lose, HE could put two and two together and realize how empty he would feel if Lash was podded.
no subject
The thought of Lash being repodded had faded beneath the idea of Lash going somewhere he allegedly couldn't get to, which was of course impossible! Someone might want to drag him back to that.

Zetta, of course, knew better than to think that being repodded actually had anything to do with strength of personality and character. His voice had, consequently, taken on that particular angry note that signaled the Overlord was denying a possibility he didn't like out of irrational anger.
Progress!

Sheesh, these people were so damn dramatic.

...shit.

"Lash....?"

It's real. Granted now there's an even BIGGER amount of confusion attached to it.

"Lash, what the hell are you thinking? And what's with the Prinny Mes?"
no subject
Didn't you see it in the castle? I got it at Videoland Theme Park.

And at that feeling of helplessness... he couldn't help but want to protect her. To reassure her, to make her safe and confident again.
But he was TERRIBLE at doing that sort of things, so he was dodging the topic like crazy, assuming that status quo would abruptly reassert itself and they'd laugh and go blow something up and nothing would change and all would be well.
no subject
Goddammit, you got her revisiting all those images again...
Now it was even louder.
no subject
Oh Magog, she's THINKING THINGS AGAIN.
He shot a quick glance around, hoping for a rescue. HELP

"I love you Zetta!" she squeaked in a poor excuse for a Lash impression and then in an even worse impression "I love you too Lash!"
Then she uncerimonially released the victim and waited looking disappointed in all parties involved (though she wasn't any better really)
no subject
"What the hell, Ruffnut!? It's not like that! I don't..."
He paused, then began again.
"...don't..."
Another pause.
"Shut up!"
no subject
"It's not the worse thing in the world," Mindy said, shrugging. "Hell, if anything, that makes you stronger: once you give a damn about somebody, focus gets more direct, strength can come where you never thought. I learned my finishing move because I thought of...the person I cared about most."
Ok, so maybe SHE even felt just a little weird about saying it aloud. Not shame, just weird.
