The battle had raged for three days with the occasional lull, and there was still no sign of Baron Raleigh and reinforcements. There had been heavy casualties on both sides; King Demetrius's forces had been cut in half, but that still left Nasat outnumbered two to one.

Things were about to change, though.

The acid melted on the dragon's flesh and Sofia roared out in pain, before the spell gave away and she returned to her human form, casting a feeling spell to aid herself. The acid still left some smoke on her.

"She left him here to die," she stated rather loudly. "That is unusually cruel." Letting Crucible threaten 'Michael' she figured, if anything, perhaps talking to him would result in a truce of some kind.

...after all it was the same with making Psaro see the light again.

"Do you really wish to fight us now? They betrayed you, left you here to die. Your wing is torn. Do you really wish it all to end now? Is your pride going to let you be killed? Or can you find it in yourself to stop this now and surrender? Perhaps even change how you think..." A desperate gamble, but at the very least, she wanted to try.
