The nice thing about the City was there was actual night and day there, with a sun and sky and an actual passage of hours, albeit an artificial one. Compared to living in the crew quarters, bumming about in the City did wonders for her Circadian rhythm. While the main part of Stacy felt so much like the facility, with no concept of noon or midnight, the City could, if she wanted it to, be almost like the real world--or her preconception of it, anyway.
There was just something nice about falling asleep with the moon above and waking up to the sun rising in the East, even if tonight's shelter was a bit of a ramshackle. Though house hunting had been a bit of a bust so far, it was still better than camping in the hangar.
She yawned, stretched and stood, raising her arms above her head and pulling her hair into its tie. Certainly nothing out of the ordinary would happen today. Right? RIGHT!?
