Another day, another patrol; by now, Zouichi was accustomed to the layout of the ship, and though nothing in particular seemed to be amiss (well, beyond the ordinary conflicts and problems, of course), he dutifully canvassed what areas he was assigned. His bike ran smoothly and quietly, and using it to get around made things a little easier. On the occasions when riding wasn't an option, however, he'd simply sling it over his shoulder and carry it along (that was what the handle was for).

He stopped to chat with people he ran into along the way, but at the end of the ride, he found himself wandering about in an area of the City he'd not yet visited. Which is how he ran into the Parthenon, not a crumbled ruin as it had been in his own time, but fully restored (or perhaps it had simply not yet had time to fall into disrepair). He looked up at the stone structure, curious. A relic of a time when people believed in divine beings as patrons of their cities.

"Well, I kinda wish he hadn't found me while I was sparing and pretending to be pirates with Zetta in the sensoriums," she added, looking a bit flustered. "And don't expect him to say much back to you. Birdbrain's pretty...emotionless for the most part."

That was one way to put it.

"As for Flak...he knew it was safer to say yes than to tell me no."

"...Yeah, I guess that would have been a little better. Why were you playing pirates, anyway? Didn't get enough of it back at the party?" Oh, Zouichi was totally going to ask Hawke all about the pirate episode. Inquiring minds wanted to know.

"So basically you threatened him." Jeez, Lash, it was like you were a bad guy or something. "You really think people are going to let you experiment on him again if he gets out here?"

"Because it was fun," she stated simply as if that explained everything. "And I'd been waiting forever for a poddrop and no one had apepared during the semi-release Stacy did early...visitation thing...I just assumed no one in the pods came from my world." What luck.

"Probably not, but I'm sure he'd let me, tee hee hee!"

"What, does it get boring firing lasers and being a ninja?" Pirates were such a strange thing to fixate on. Perhaps he should get Lash an eyepatch or something, though, if she was going to continue swashing buckles.

"In any case, I'm glad that to hear that someone did. Maybe some more of your friends will show up during the next release." Poor Flak.

She'd take out one of Zetta's eyes that way. "Not really, but instead of thinking about the pods, having a much better way to pass the time is waaaaay more fun!" In other words, she wanted a distraction.

"And yeah! I hope the rest of the Black Hole forces come out. Well baring Kindle and her irk, of course. She was the wrong kind of evil. The ship wouldn't have any use for her apart from punching her face." Poor Flak indeed. Too bad no one would ever app him.
