The R to Corinth
It began with the Series Black morpher.
Tenaya had hacked her way past the genetic lock binding it to her brother, studying its powers to create new weapons for the crew, using it in battle against the Ohm invasion of Lirath. But she'd forgotten one thing.
Venjix.
The computer virus that had all but obliterated her world--she should have known better than to think that he would die so easily. Of course he would have downloaded himself into the morphers to escape his fate; he had access to the biofields, after all. He'd taken control of Dillon enough times to prove that he was definitely interested in getting control of at least one of the Rangers.
She should have known. And now, if she and Will didn't do something fast, the entire ship could be in danger.
A claw reached into the attackbot generator in Venjix Palace brought up a few Nitro Blasters and Engine Cells. Taking them, Tenaya cross-referenced information on her omnicomm before looking at Will.
"Looks like I matched up to most of Dr. K's blueprints, but I'm still missing something in the programming for the Engine Cells. And I need that if we're going to deliver the antivirus."

"And unless we find that place you were looking for, we're screwed on that front, aren't we?"
no subject
"Looks like we're in luck now," she said with a smirk. "That Valley Grinder fiinally found it. I'm downloading the coordinates now."
On the screen was the Garage, the RPM Series Operators' base of operations, and the only place they could find what they needed to stop Venjix.

That was... well, way too convenient. Still, at this point they couldn't really afford to be picky. Especially since they needed to get into it. "So, this place have any defenses we should be worried about?"
no subject
"Not really," she admitted as she downloaded the coordinates. "And that's the bad part. I can't tell you how many times I managed to invade it. The only real defenses are inside, and that's when you've got someone there to shoot a blaster." Or play the violin, in one case. "If we're attacked there, they're getting in."

The download complete, she set her omnicomm to show the map. "Do the hacking, I can do the shooting. I've got a score to settle with Venjix anyway."

A dark cloaked figure stepped out into the open, a low sinister chuckle on his lips as eyes glowed from below the hood.
"Did you miss me, sister of Subject D-44. I certainly didn't!" And he thrust out a hand, firing a blast of energy at the pair.

Either way, there wasn't much that she could do right now other than, you know, DUCK out of the way of the energy blast. "Guardians Unite!" she shouted, holding out the Heart of Kandrakar mid-roll, transforming into her Guardian form before sending a blast of Quintessence over towards Venjix.

Activating her blaster, she fired back at Venjix. "Always had a backup plan, didn't you? Got to say, I didn't expect the morphers. You jumped into the nearest data you could find when I fought on Lirath, didn't you?"
no subject
Firing a few more blasts, he took off down the hallway.

She aimed her blaster at the ceiling. "Through the skylight." Which she promptly installed by shooting several times until a large hole formed, raining debris down toward Venjix.

The weapons they needed were safely on her. As long as they made it out of there and to the Garage, they'd be good.

She moved over to Tenaya, moving to wrap her arms around the other woman's waist. "Still, it'd probably be a good idea to keep a look out just in case."
Will was going to lift off the instant that Tenaya said she was ready.

But they needed to get to the Garage. Everything was depending on it.
"Let's go," she insisted.

Little did he know just how the reason for it would come to him.

There's a quick rev of the engine, and Shou punches it after the other bike-rider. Something's up, that's for certain.

And down the ramp he went, engine thrumming as he headed for a ship. There were many but only one would be suitable; a green plane-like ship that was affectionately dubbed the Rustbucket 3.
Skidding to a halt, Venjix chuckled as he prepared his final stand.

... If he could even do any damage, actually. Why wasn't letting him off the ship a good idea again?
... Oh right, he was possessing someone. Will really wished she knew how to shoot quintessence out of her head, it would've been pretty useful right now.
