Stacy's voiced called the entire crew, until all of them were gathered at the Obs Deck. Then, a dossier appeared on the screens, along with the image of a rotating planet.

Planet Designation: Happy Happy Fun World Status: Terrestrial, H-class. Non-sentient life: Medium flora and fauna. Primarily domestic. Semi-Sentient Life: Yes. Sentient Life: A significant number of species of intelligent life. Water: 25% of the planet's surface. Climate: Climate varies by region. Landscape: Landscape has been significantly terraformed and is highly varied. Air: Normoxic concentration: 29% oxygen, 60% nitrogen, 3% xenon, 6% trace gases, such as hydrogen, krypton, and argon. Air Pressure: 14.352 pounds per square inch. Sky: Pink with white clouds. Sun: A class D4K, yellow star. Warnings: Crew should be cautious when consuming the popcorn. Mission: None. Shore leave is now initiated.

"Vengeful ass ghosts," Mindy mumbled, shaking her head. "We should get some salve for that." She gingerly touched the girl's face: she could at least be a good girlfriend about this, even if she didn't get what the stupid fight was about. "Maybe we can ask a healer or something."

"I'll be fine." Ruffnut grunted not particularly pleased with the idea of sharing her humiliation with anyone else. The only reason Mindy knew was because they were living together, and dating now.

"So what are we supposed to be doing?" Apparently she hadn't been paying attention to the mission specs.

"All right then," Mindy said, tapping the rug burn for good measure. She wasn't going to press the issue: she would hate that herself if the roles were reversed. She just hated stuff happening to Ruffnut.

"Relaxing, I guess," Mindy said, looking amused. "Guess that means we'll be having our first date."

She was going to LOVE Ruffnut's reaction to that. She always freaked out about things like this.

"Yeah well I think...bwah?" Her face fell into a look of confusion and slowly burned with red heat in each cheek as her lips tried to form words but ended up coming up with something that sounded like a speedboat failing to start.

"Well its shore leave, so no point in wasting it," Mindy said briskly. "Now that we're dating, I say we go to a fancy restaurant. You and I can wear dresses, do some ball room dancing, and then we can go for a nice stroll, if it has a scenic view. It'll be nice."

Ruffnut boggled at Mindy trying to imagine herself doing those things. They all seemed so...so girly! It was easier to imagine Mindy in a fancy restaurant and girly dresses.

"I uh...nice." She managed to babble out confused. It wasn't that she was necessarily against the idea, mostly just surprised because she hadn't actually thought ahead to going out on a date and what people would do on one.

Mindy's lip quivered. "Ruffnut, I am totally fucking with you. You saw our last 'date.' Come on, let's go around on rides, break some shit, and have as much fun as possible! We can fill up on junk food, maybe catch a swim or something, hell, maybe they'll even let us shoot at stuff!"

She grinned, taking the girl's hand. "I had you for a second though. And if you tell anyone I said it, I will totally beat you up, but...its really sweet you would put yourself through stuff you don't like for me. But a good date is gonna be something we both like to do."

Ruffnut's face went even redder when Mindy confessed and she growled grabbing Mindy's ear and zapping her. "You're lucky I like you." She muttered though there was enough of a smirk there to show she wasn't really mad.

Because yeah she was totally believing her.

"Well you should't be so easy to trick!" Mindy retorted, laughing. "It's shore leave, you think I want to spend it in a dress in some damn restaurant? Screw that! I want to have some actual fun, and that means I'm going to have to go with my partner!"

She did wince a little at the zap, but she was luckily getting used to that. "If you accidently fry my brain, you're the one who'll have to live with the guilt! Anyway, what kinda place would you like to go?"

"Brains are over-rated." Ruffnut declared, though she loved how Mindy's hair got all static filled and began to float when she charged it enough.

"I dunno I've never been to a place like this before." She gestured at the screens with all the information on them.

"You WOULD say that," Mindy retorted, her hands going to her head in an effort to not look like a crazy person. ~~Too late.~~

"There might be rides, or video games, even a water park!" Man, she would LOVE that. "Whatever though-long as we're doing it together, it'll be fun, right?"
