The Brightest Birthday [Open]
The Sensorium was transformed, the lights were lit and the trap was set. Billy stood in the center of a beautiful woodland clearing at dusk, waiting to surprise a certain special girl with a quiet and warm party for her birthday. Things were calm, beautifully lit, and (hopefully) just right for Ronnae.
Guests would come upon a circular layout to the clearing. One finely-cut circle in the center of the grass, separated from the rest of the area by entwined roots, served as the dance floor. Pathways wound out in several directions---to a secluded grove for talking in one direction, to the little round tables in another direction, to the vine-wrapped throne watching above all. Next to it was a small table for gifts, with one round box already placed there.
A crescent-shaped food table cupped the dining area, featuring simulations of foods of all sorts. Salads, meats, pasta, soups, hot potatoes---it was heavily based on Earth food, as that was what Billy knew best, but some dishes more familiar to the people of Azeroth would appear as well. If he did his research correctly, at least. He'd tried.
Standing just behind the table was a tiered strawberry cheesecake, red ribbons flowing throughout the creamy structure. It was surrounded by strawberries on all layers, and topped with a little decoration. Billy had argued with himself about whether it was appropriate or too sentimental for a little while, but there it was: a miniature big-headed version of Ronnae sitting on top of a flower, the little figure's toothy grin flashing at the crowd. He hoped she wasn't offended.
Now that the scene was set and the skylights were giving the place a gentle glow, he braced himself for the arrivals. He still wasn't sure if she would like the attention, but he hoped she could find a reason to smile tonight.
((Now open! Subthreads are up for early arrivals, the escorting, and gifts, and everything else can be social threads y'all start. Throw up more subthreads if you'd like to and have fun!))

It'd not be so bad if it were just him in the crew quarters, since he's used to it. Victoria, however, is not, and he's grateful that there was another option - and grateful as well, that it was his friends that were able to help make that happen, even if the place as a whole is a long way from being complete.
"But I'm glad I was able to come spend the day with ye. So now the question is, what do ye want to do with it?"

She smiled and gave him a thumbs up and a playful wink before laughing a bit.
Taking one more look at her gift and smiling to herself, she looked up to him and nodded, "I'll be placing it on a special place in my home to remind me of a wonderful memory and an amazing friend."
Jamie had not only been a great friend to Billy, but he had been understanding, caring and a great friend to her and she appreciated that greatly.

It's her birthday, and she can do what she likes with it, he figures. But maybe she'd want to do something a little bit different than just the party and the presents. So why not ask and see if she actually wants to?
"Or would ye like to do something else, like go on an adventure?"

"O-oh! Ah s-sorry, hah, must have, y-yeah umm." Whoops! She was feeling rather embarrassed, but still smiled on like a trooper!
"I didn't really think about anything, no. But some games would be fun. I don't know if anyone would want to today though, since it's been a long one... But I've been wanting to do something fun in the sensoriums for a while now. Maybe capture the flag or fortress defense."
Of course, she had VERY different ways of how to play those games, considering that they were war games from her world...

"Well, why not set something up? Maybe ye could see if anyone else on the crew'd be interested in giving it a go, as well."

And then crew members 'killed' each other in Warsong Gulch. The thought of re-enacting the battle of the Gulch, or the Resource war of the Basin where enough to bring a big smile to Ronnae's face.

He may regret that once he realizes what games she has in mind - but for now, it seems like a fine idea. As does some food, if the faint rumbling of his stomach is anything to go by.
"Er...maybe we can get something to eat for now, instead."
(OOC: want to wrap it up here, or was there anything you'd like to do?)

"That sounds like a great idea J-Jamie! And of course I'll let ya know whenever I want to try it out, after all I'm really happy you suggested it!"
With that, she gave him a pleasant hug and motioned towards the food, happy to be sharing a moment with a great friend.
(OOC: This is fine! Thanks for the awesome fun~ <3)
