Hybrid is for cars, not Time Ladies. [Closed]
River's eyes slowly began to open, and oh, this felt familiar. Similar to that time she'd been drugged by Madame Kovarian. A sluggish feeling, a general feeling of drowsiness. Yup, she'd definitely been drugged. Again. Judging from her unfamiliar surroundings and her current state - handcuffed to a chair - she'd been kidnapped too. Ugh, what was it about her that just screamed 'kidnap me and brain wash me?' The last thing she remembered, she had been getting ready to do some exploring of the ventilation shafts and then - Nothing.
"I generally prefer to be the one doing the handcuffing. It's just not as fun this way." That's River for you. Even when in a potentially dangerous situation, she always had a cheeky remark or two up her sleeve. "Do I get to meet my captor?"

What a waste. But he was drawn in, firmly hooked now. He wanted to see the Doctor's trust forsaken.
"Show me", he breathed. "Show me what you did to him."
no subject
She knew she had him hooked when he asked her to show her that memory instead of pushing further into her mind to find it. Instead of showing him the events on that lakeshore, she gives him a glimpse of herself inside the Storm Cage Facility, where she'd been locked up for a very long time.
She had to keep him appeased for now.
Free me and we'll find even more things that we have in common between the two of us
Oh, River was a killer. Not so different from him when she'd started out, minus the obvious prejudice against humans.
no subject
He may have asked once, but the Master wasn't one to beg. "Show me," he snarled out loud, digging in harder. It was a warning, but it would be her only one before the Master took matters into his own hands.
Show me, and I'll let you go. If he was right, she'd do far more damage to the Doctor set loose anyhow. Given the proper guidance.

Her mind shifts back to that fateful day on the shores of Lake Silencio. The Doctor's body rocking backwards and to the ground from her first shot. His voice whispering 'I'm so sorry before bursting with regenerative energy. That's when the second shot fired, a sound that seemed to echo.
The Doctor dropped to the ground, unable to reach his next body, she had fired at that crucial moment that would kill a Time Lord.
Disappearing back into the lakeshore. An image of Amy crumpled next to the Doctor's body, sobbing.
Why did the Master want to see such an event?
Are you satisfied? You know he can never know. He knows I'm held in the Storm Cage and that I killed a man, but not who
no subject
Just as he was now. He let out a throaty sound, almost a low purr, at the sight of the Doctor stumbling backward. The telltale regeneration energy glowing at the edges-- oh, she must have got him good.
The Master nearly ripped his hands away when the second shot came. Panic gnawed at him, even witnessing this through the eyes of another. He found himself silently willing the Doctor to just get up, get up and regenerate, Rassilon damn you! As if that would help.
"You..." For a moment the Master was at a loss for words, a rare thing. "You killed him," he finally whispered, in complete shock. For a Time Lord, there's 'killed' and then there's killed, and somehow River Song is powerful and clever enough to pull off the latter.
He's not sure if he wants to kiss her or kill her.
no subject
"Technically, it was the suit that killed him. I told him to run....but he refused." No, she had no control over what the suit did. "But yes, I killed him."
It's not something she's gloating over.
"I've been in the Storm Cage ever since."
She pauses, her mind surging against his in a distinctly seductive manner. Let her go, it urges.

The Doctor was safe for now. Whatever he'd seen in River's memories must have been from the future. And the future could always be rewritten.
They could kill the Doctor together.
The Master's face broke in another wide grin, his mind pushing back against River's. Not harsh, but forceful, and equally as seductive.
"He would do that. Thinking he could save you when there's absolutely no 'saving' to be done." He leaned in even closer, his body resting more heavily on hers, their lips nearly touching.
"I could make you glorious, you know."
no subject
Still, she wasn't about to argue with him. The only way to win this game of wits was to make him think joining forces with him made her hot and heavy.
Tilting her head, her lips graze his, murmuring softly.
"Do tell, darling. Perhaps we could be free of these handcuffs and come to an agreement that is to the pleasure of both parties?"
Her voice is a sensual purr.
no subject
"Perhaps," he whispered back against her lips, and then pressed his own to them, hard. Oh, River was a killer all right. He could make her a queen, someone capable of manipulating and controlling and ultimately ending the Doctor, by his side. Someone truly able to contemplate the glory of a Time Lord empire.
He reached into his pocket for the screwdriver.
no subject
"I can be very persuasive, Master."
Why yes, she did say his name in that sexy come-hither-and-get-naked-with-me way that would have made the Doctor fluster.
Her mind rolls against his a final time before seeking to break the connection between them.
no subject
He pressed forward even further, grinding into her so that he could reach and unlock the handcuffs. With a click they came apart.
"There," he whispered into her ear. "Now. How are you going to repay me?"
no subject
As soon as the handcuffs are off, she discreetly tuck them away for use at a later point in time. For now, she turns that seductive smile and those lush red lips towards the Master, giving him her full attention.
"This." She surges forward, her lips crashing against his in a kiss that was all tongue and just the right press of teeth to his bottom lip. She stands and while her tongue play clever little tricks against his, her hands turn him slowly so that his back is to the chair she had previously been chained to. Her hands slowly beginning to divest him of his clothing.

They could discuss the details of their proposed partnership later. For now, it was time to have a little fun.
no subject
Shifting off of his lap, she works his pants down and off. Moving her lips from his mouth down to his neck, nipping at the double pulse point at his throat.
Everything was going good.
When she finally had him right where she wanted him, she sprung her trap!
Before he could protest, she grabbed his hand,s pulled them behind his back, and clicked the handcuffs in place. At the same time, she leans and whispers in his ear, "You've clearly underestimated me. I'm sorry but, my allegiance is to the Doctor. Completely."
She's grinning as she pulls back and stands, as if readying herself to leave.
"You might know my secrets, but don't ever presume to know me. I'm the Doctor's wife, as well as his killer. And yes, I'm well aware that this means war between the two of us. But just remember, I've already killed one Time Lord. Don't think for a second that I won't kill another, just because the Doctor cares for you."
no subject
Far more enticing. The two of them were going to have quite a time before he finally broke her. Finally created a companion worthy of the Master--
His eyes flew open when the mental link was completely severed, like the slamming of a door. The Master reached for River... and realized that his hands were secured behind his chair.
"You-- bitch!" he snarled, straining forward and struggling fiercely against the cuffs. The chair rattled and shook with his efforts. "Don't you dare!"
And then he chuckled, his eyes snapping with vicious disdain. "You're not his wife," the Master snapped. "You're nothing but a novelty to him. A pet."
no subject
Leaning down, she picks up his Laser screwdriver and narrows her eyes as she points it straight at his chest. Moving it so that it was aimed exactly at his right heart. "You think I would trust the word of someone who doesn't know what love is and will never experience it himself? Hardly. Now, should I kill you here and now for invading my mind like you did or should I let you sit and stew in your own juices for a bit? I'm sure it'll take quite some time before you're discovered...."
no subject
"You wouldn't," he breathed. He wasn't talking of murder-- she couldn't, anyhow, seeing as the weapon was isomorphically controlled. But he'd just had the sneaking, sickening suspicion River would make sure somehow that it wouldn't be just anyone discovering him.
no subject
And with that, she gives him a saucy wink, blows a kiss, and walks out. Leaving him all alone, handcuffed, and naked. Knowing the Doctor would show up eventually.
The humiliation would surely last awhile.

Make that an hour late.
Maybe under an hour. Five minutes. Under by five minutes.
There's a brief minute on the other side of the door as the Doctor tried to sonic it open. His sonic screwdriver buzzed away. River's message on his psychic paper had been vague, especially on something important like proper directions and that had set off more alarms than anything else -- River was annoyingly specific with her coordinates, at the very least, and while she couldn't be expected to respect things like historic landmarks, she did at least pay more attention to directions. The door suddenly popped open, banging against the wall as the Doctor half-shoved, half barreled in, red in the face and out of breath from a run up and down the City. He came to a stop as he took in the Master sitting in a chair.
Barely dressed. Handcuffed.
"Oh," the Doctor said intelligently while he tried to catch his breath.
no subject
Whether she knew it or not, she was now marked, and if she had any sense that should worry her.
"Catch you later," he called out to her back, purposely saving his panicked struggles for after she'd left. The handcuffs, of course, were good. Too good. By the time the Doctor came running up the stairs and banged open the door, the Master was similarly out of breath but no closer to freeing himself.
He still managed to roll his eyes and attempt to save what little face he had left.
"Get a good look?" the Master arched an eyebrow, clearly vexed.
no subject
Obviously the Master wasn't going anywhere, otherwise he would have freed himself by now. There were a limited number of options here: either the Master kidnapped River or it was the other way around and River was doing that Thing where she thought she was protecting him by going after his best enemies. Given the fact he knew the Master much better than River, he wanted to say that this might've been his doing. Maybe. Possibly. Maybe-possibly-could be. Hard to tell! Prowling about the room, the Doctor seemed to come to the conclusion that River was in fact not hiding in the cupboard ready to brain him over the head with an explanation or three and maybe he might have better luck asking the Master.
The Doctor came up to the Master, his eyes flicking around and picking out the small telltale signs of a struggle.
"So! River and handcuffs again! I'm not surprised." He bent down to tug at the handcuffs around the Master's wrists non-too gently. "I really ought to find out where she keeps getting them."
no subject
"If you're still looking for Doctor Song, she left. With the key." He wouldn't have thought that needed to be said, but the Doctor haphazardly pulling at the handcuffs, as if they'd just pop free, seemed to confirm that it did.
no subject
It would be so easy to release the Master. Just pop those handcuffs open with the sonic screwdriver. But the Doctor had an idea, more than an inkling, what had happened here and he wasn't feeling quite as charitable as earlier. Finding that the handcuffs weren't going to get up and walk away on their own, the Doctor rounded the back of the chair and prowled about the room until he found a chair of his own, a high backed thing that scraped along the floor until he had it positioned right where he wanted it. The Doctor flopped down into it and hooked one leg over the other, lacing his fingers together in his lap and while he could at least give the Master his shirt back, he instead cleared his throat.
"So. I get a message from River saying she needs help. And here you are."
no subject
"Personal business," he gritted out between his teeth.
no subject
He could leave the Master here for however long it took for him to figure out a way to free himself, as if that would teach him a lesson. Ignoring the fact that the Master was trying to burn holes right through his forehead, the Doctor pretended to inspect the armrest of his chair, picking at it with his nail and knowing that he'd have to try to get the story from River at some point, make sure she wasn't....damaged. It had probably been only a matter of time before the Master picked up what an annoyingly interesting woman River was and decided he wanted to know more, taking rather than just asking. He couldn't say he wasn't disappointed and angry at him.
After all this time between them. All those centuries. And here they were, back where they had been lives and faces and countless friends and enemies later!
