There was a major difference in Aqua now that Terra was here, if only for a day. While she'd gotten a lot better since she'd first woken on the ship, the stress that was always present within her seemed to be gone, and the lingering darkness that had haunted her ever since Xehanort had forced her and her friends apart had lifted.

"I thought you might want to see a little more of the ship than just the house," she said. "The City's always a good place to start."

"I'm all right with that," said Terra, letting Aqua lead. "I've got to make the most of it, right?"

"Instead of being grumpy all the time?" Aqua teased.

"Yeah that, or just teasing you in front of your family," added Terra with a grin.

"You're terrible," Aqua said, blushing again. "I can't remember a time you were this bad. Of course, it was usually just us and Ven..."

"I'm trying to make up for a lot of things," replied Terra easily. "Most of all being an isolationist jerk last we spoke."

Aqua looked down, the memories painful.

"You can't blame yourself for that," she insisted. "Xehanort..."

"It's fine, really," interrupted Terra. He grinned a little at her. "We've got a day. Better not dwell on this, right? C'mon, let's do something fun for old times sake."

He was being avoidant. Aqua knew him long enough to recognize it. But it was only one day, so she wasn't going to spoil it by calling him out on it.

"You're right," she said. "What do you want to do?"

"Well... what do you guys do for fun on this ship? Anything entertaining to go and see?" inquired Terra.

"Well, there's the sensoriums almost everyone goes to," Aqua said, thinking. "It can recreate anything from your mind. Or there's this amusement park in the City. Sasami and I went there once."

"Let's try that amusement park. I'm looking for something more solid," said Terra. And he didn't want to chance that he'd come up with Xehanort or something.

"I thought you might say that," Aqua teased as she threw her Keyblade into the air. "It'll be faster if we fly."

"I'm usually predictable," said Terra with a smirk, throwing his own Keyblade into the air. "Let's go then. Lead on."

Aqua leapt onto her glider and led Terra over the City and toward Awesome World. Once she landed, she asked, "What do you want to check out first?"

"I've always been a fan of coasters," mused Terra. "We could check that out or maybe some skill games?"

"Sounds good to me," Aqua said. "We never really got to do any of this stuff when we were kids."

"All right, lets hit up the skill games first then."

Headed into Awesomeworld, Terra quickly found an accuracy game. "Let's try this one," he said, tossing a beanbag in the air.

"Just like when we were kids, right?" Aqua asked, picking up a beanbag of her own. "Always competing. Only without the loser having to double up on chores."

"Yep. Though with a game like this still," And he tossed it, knocking an item off the shelf. "I don't like losing anyhow."

He never did, which was what had started everything in the first place. Aqua did her best not to make it look like she was doing it on purpose as she threw a beanbag and missed.

With a grin, he picked up another one and chucked it. This time his aim was a little off and he barely grazed a stuffed bear. "Nuts."

"You have to focus more," Aqua said. "Concentrate before throwing."

She demonstrated by throwing a beanbag and knocking over a stuffed penguin.

"Right." Taking aim, he threw another beanbag, successfully knocking off a stuffed approximation of a heartless though it was white with adorable golden eyes. "Hah, got it."

Aqua covered her mouth to suppress a giggle. "You're listening to advice a lot better than you did when we were kids, at least."

"Easier to deal with things this way. At least then I won't be leaving a derpy impression, right?" laughed Terra.

"I was thinking more along the lines of at least you weren't sulking," Aqua teased.

"Well that too. But I'd best leave you with a happy memory, right?" said Terra, a sad kind of smile on his face.

Aqua fought back tears as she smiled back. "You're right. And one day, you'll wake up again. You and Ven."

Terra nodded, holding up his hand in a fist, but in it was held the Wayfinder. "All three of us."
