Still got those mother nature's blues [Open]
Dean had switched off on tracking the Dalgig for the time being, and other Security were keeping an eye to the other visitors. Only stopped by the Brig for some prisoners to get their walking papers.
He stopped by the Observation Deck, but there was nobody there to see. Why would there be? Mom and Dad were long gone, couldn't save Adam. Cas wasn't around anymore either. Would have been good seeing Bobby, or maybe even Ellen or Jo, but of course, never get that lucky. Old Winchester luck again, screwed, blue and tattooed.
He decided to head down to the Sensoriums. Part of the reason he wanted to compile information on the all of the past threats to the Ship was to set up a training program to develop strategy, and best methods for taking them out. Right now, he got some details on the giant bugs that some of the oldest crew dealt with. Which meant busy pumping shotgun shells into one. His eyes were singularly focused, his expression hardened.
This was easier. Just focus on doing his job, don't bother with any of that other crap. Who needed it? Certainly not him.

"Doing some light calisthenics?" he asked.
no subject
"Something like that. Figure it's a good way to keep us prepared for the next time the shit hits the fan."

As the Ohm recovered and came after him again (distributed nervous system?) Zouichi caught its front leg, tearing the limb off and swinging it hard to knock the remainder of the creature's legs out from under it. It crashed to the ground, off balance.

"No-one woke up for you either, I take it," Rhiow said when she spotted Dean. The simulation was high-stress, high-danger, but Rhiow's shield kept her safe from stray shot and Ohm bits.

He was certain they were, but maybe Stacy just hadn't been able to find them in time.
Finding Dean wasn't that difficult, end of the day. He knew his brother as well as he knew himself and killing things sounded like a good idea. So he looked through the Sensoriums until he found the right one, staying outside the doorway. Nothing could actually hit him if he stood there and Dean was aiming the other direction.

"Come to join the party, Sam? Got plenty of fireworks here to celebrate." He yelled to him over his shoulder as he fired more rounds into the Ohm.

Still, Sam stepped into the simulation, bringing up a weapon that was similar to the one Dean was using. It only took a moment for him to get to Dean's side, covering him as he started shooting the Ohm as well.

"Nothing down there for us," he added. Not as a question, but a statement. He knew Sam would have alerted him and vice versa if there was somebody.

"Yeah, story of our lives. Why should that change even in space?"

no subject
"Why? Having a BBQ right here already."

He fired off a few more shots, "Thought that was the big prize at the end? We plug the Ohm, and get our worlds back. Got no choice but to leave all this."
no subject
Sam tracked one fast Ohm, getting the speed down before he shot and took a moment to reload. "And...I'm not sure I want to go back, anyway."
no subject
"What about finishing up, going back to Stanford again? After all that mess back there?"
no subject
Which meant Sam. "And no, we don't have to hijack a ship. Just...there has to be a choice, right? They won't just shove us back, right?"

There were plenty of hunters in their world. It wouldn't go undefended. And without Azazel to start things up again, it would be a long time before there would be another threat like this one to their world. "And I'm positive that Bobby and some of the others are in the pods. No reason they have to go back, either, once this is all over."
Everybody they loved could be safe.

"once thought Kaylee's part of the universe, didn't sound too bad," he quietly admitted before his face went into a neutral expression again.
"Not sure where to go now, though looks like some people don't or can't go home either."
no subject
See the number of times they'd had the police after them.
Sam nodded, looking around. "Maybe the GIA will NOT be jerks, for once, and give us a planet or something to recolonize. The ones who can't or won't go home." If any of them actually could, that was. "It'd be interesting, that's for sure."
no subject
"I'm sorry anyway," she said, her tail curled tight around her feet. "What do you make of our more conventional visitors?" she asked, changing the subject.
no subject
"Maybe, I ain't holding my breath on that one. Might have to do it for ourselves. Though what does that mean, farming on a version of Tattoine or something?"

"Look, Sam if you're ready pulling for this BBQ, man...fine. Fire up the grill. Especially if there's still any meat from the last leave." Even though the Lirath mess was a total clusterfuck.

"Got ideas on when? You gonna send out the invites? I'll get things set up here."
no subject
"Give it a week, maybe? I figured I'd make a post to the people we'll want around most. Set aside some of the meat for Rhiow." Since she probably wouldn't want anything cooked.

"All right, I'll check our supplies and start rustling things up. Got that table in the back we can use." It wouldn't be a huge crowd after all.

Couldn't it have spent its energy say, making sure there were not hordes of flesh-eating living zombie men in containment rooms somewhere?
