When the Big Girls Play~! [Visitation Day Plot! Completely Open!]
Ellistree had followed Nokosi and Kaya into hydroponics, and for the first time since arriving on board the Transmigration 9 did she feel at complete ease.
Not that she felt bad being around the odd vessel, but the lack of nature was uncomfortable for sure. The vast variety of flora and fauna in the place was an amazing breath of fresh air, and it was clear that the child of nature was at home in such environments. It almost looked as if her skin took on a beatiful glow as she sauntered off through the place, smiling and dancing amongst the trees, and creatures kept in Hydroponics.
The rather tall elf was trully in a state of bliss, and anyone who approached her might get a sudden hug, or a playful gesture depending on how they approached her. But granted a more hostile approach won't be shyed away from, after all, Ellistree was fiercer than most feral druids, and that was saying a lot. It could be balmed on the blood that coursed trough her veins, making her even more dominant and aggressive than normal.
[[OOC: Open post! Really! Anyone can join in, don't be shy, she won't bite (Much!). You're free to interact with anyone who's in the initial post (Ellistree, Nokosi, Kaya, Billy or Ronnae. Or you can join in the FFA tag spree between them, it's all game! Threadjacking encouraged! Feeling brave enough to poke at the tall elven looking woman?! Go for it! It's all for fun!]]

He'd crept through the bushes and climbed up a tree, hat pulled tightly on his head that muffled most of the sound his earrings made when he walked at an accelerated pace. The rest of the noise was a non-issue with how slowly and carefully he moved one foot in front of the other, tentatively crawling over one branch to the next until he had a clear shot of his target.
Nokosi raised his bow and notched a simple, green and brown decorated arrow. Pulling back, he leveled his the shot at her thigh. He would be at a disadvantage without Fontaine, but that hardly matter.
Silver eyes focused on her lithe form, even as she continued twirling down below. The corner of his lip rose in the smallest smile and he released the string, letting the arrow fly towards its destination.
no subject
That was probably why she knew he was expecting her to simply spin away from the arrow, not even bothering to acknowledge it as she continued singing as she danced, eyes closed and a happy smiled still lingering.

A wince crossed her features as the wyvern arrow hit her thigh as she turned around a tree, looking down at it she raised a brow and smiled.
"Sneaky little ..." And then she collapsed to the ground, landing on a soft pillow of flowers next so some bushes.

25, 24, 23...
The violet-haired elf ran through the flowers towards his friend and crouched next to her splayed out, slumbering form. He quickly removed the knife strapped to his boot and reached forward to the woman, only stopping once his nose caught a familiar scent. He leaned down, sniffing her arms, hands and neck. It was all over her--Kaya's scent. That could only mean one of a few things. When had they...? It didn't matter right now, he could always confirm it if he saw Kaya next.
16, 15, 14...
Nokosi raised his hand back up, intent on finishing the task he'd started out on. He smoothed a hand over her back-length, ivory tresses and picked out a nice clump from underneath the top layer of hair. With a flick of the wrist, he removed the lock and folded the long strands, then stuffed them in his satchel. He would have time to sort that out, later.
6, 5, 4...
He didn't have a moment to spare to properly hide himself, now but the heavy shadows of the trees coupled with the thick foliage was just enough so that he could dive behind a thicket of bushes and press back against the dark patches, effectively melding his own shadow with that of his surroundings.
Their little game was far from over, still.

Still in the shadows, her form promptly shifted to that of the huge, albino saber and she began to prowl. At this, Nokosi's advantages had all but disappeared as the huge cat grinned, it's toothy, razor sharp maw spreading from end to end as she bend low to the ground and approached slowly.
Once she was sure of where he was, she pounced, putting all the weight of her massive, new form into the attack, working to pin down the elf under her.
no subject
Nokosi struggled, trying to wriggle his lithe body this way and that, but she had the advantage of size and strength and he could already feel his constricted lungs protesting under the weight atop them. His eyes met those of the fierce cat's and he growled at her, a sign that he wasn't about to concede to defeat.
Usually this would be the part where Fontaine would have stepped in and fought the cat off him or made a suitable distraction, but since he was alone and at point-blank range with the enemy atop his chest, he'd have to improvise. His frost trap was out of range, but he could still use what he had in the quiver beside him.
The elf reached for his quiver and yanked out a grey-feathered arrow with a round, orb tip. Usually this arrow's bulb was filled with a variety of small stones, gravel and the like that, when it hit, exploded, sending the spray into the enemy's face to disorient them.
Nokosi snapped the tip of the arrow and palmed the orb. He'd need to close his eyes right before it hit to avoid being hit my his own attack. Reaching to the side as far as he could, Nokosi squeezed his hand around the bulb, cracking it, and proceeded to shower her face in the contents of the arrow.

She let out a massive roar pulling back slightly as she tried to regain her sight.
no subject
Nokosi sprinted to the side and pulled back on the string, causing a flickering, yellow arrow to materialize, already notched.
"Bandu thoribas, Luneshalla!"
no subject
She bounded towards him, her powerful, feline body moving now with incredible speed as she willed her body to move faster than before. She'd close the gap fast and she intended on ramming into him with full force!
no subject
His success landed on one of those affecting her. He'd really upped the challenge for himself without his animal companion.
no subject
It took that moment to charge and attempted smack Nokosi hard enough to stun him if the hit landed. She would proceed with a mauling blow and ravage his body if he didn't manage to move fast enough.
no subject
He bit back the sharp pain in his arm and the heaviness he felt in his chest, focusing instead on a way to get out of his current predicament. He crouched as quickly as he could, tensing his muscles up to leap backwards, disengaging himself from the fight.
Nokosi ran, hand clamped over this bloody arm, even if it still managed to leave a trail behind. With nothing more than a thought, he invoked the Aspect of the cheetah, giving him the little bit of time he needed to put space between them, though the blood would aid her in finding him quicker.
The elf made for a tree, easily springing up to reach it and hoisting himself up the branch with one arm. Once he was 'safe' he tore through his satchel and pulled out a strip of gauze, haphazardly wrapping it around the wound.
no subject
With that in mind, she shifted immediately to a swift form, a storm crow and took to the skies, not letting up and keeping him in sight, more than easily catching up to him. Without wanting to give him a break to heal, she dived, shifting mid dive to her dire bear form and aiming to crush and maul once more.
no subject
As soon as Ellistree dropped down on him, he was crushed under the weight of the gigantic bear. One pound against his body and he was winded. The branch creaked under their combined weight and still he struggled to slide beneath her grasp, though there was little place he could escape to.
When the second blow came, he was definitely sure he'd heard something crack; gasping for air like a strangled fish while coughing up blood proved him right. It also caused the bough they were precariously fighting on to snap, sending them both hurtling to the ground.

Her added weight forced him to take the full brunt of the their descent and his body jerked under the forceful impact. Stars exploded in his vision when his head smacked into the branch with a resounding 'crack'. Pain shot through every portion of his body and he still couldn't breathe with her atop him.
His attempts at breathing were nothing more than raspy, gurgled gasps; the warm blood pouring from his mouth staining his violet hair a rich, wine color. Once she shifted, his body was wracked with violent coughs, but he managed to clear his throat. Silver eyes fluttered shut in an attempt to push away the black spots and white orbs that swam in his murky vision, but it did little to still any of the pain.
[I...I can't believe I didn't even hurt you,] he hoarsely whispered in Darnassian.

"You also faced me at a handicap sweetheart. And you knew I would capitalize on that."
Her hands rolled over his body, undoing his clothing, minus his pants and setting it aside. Soon, green, hot and intense energy flowed through the woman's hands and begun to seep into the elf. The powerful mending magics of the druid, renewing, and regrowing the damage that he had suffered.
It was known that druid held the most regenerative magic, while priests held the most powerful. And as such, Nokosi would be back to normal soon, free of any breaks he might have suffered, even if the pain would still be there for days.
She cradled him onto her lap, pressing his head against her chest and closing her eyes as she continuously healed him, seeping the powerful spells into his body. A light, sweet, and melodious song began to fill the air as she rocked back and forth with him, enjoying the all too familiar moment with her lover.

[That may be so...] He took a shaky breath. [I had no chance. I couldn't put distance between us, I couldn't land a hit, I didn't successfully spring one trap. If I have to rely on Fontaine to make even one scratch, then I'm doomed from the get-go in...any one-on-one...or many--fight.] Really, he'd been incredibly lucky that most of his last fight saw him on a ledge overlooking the battle. Very few could reach him there.
[How could I be so...]
The elf fell silent, the tune his friend hummed a temporary reverie for his aching body. He welcomed it, though; it meant he was still alive enough to absolutely loathe the feeling and that was good enough for him. Something he also hated? The next word that came out of his mouth, particularly because it rang true in this situation.
[Useless.]

"You should know better than to speak such words Nokosi Summergale."
"Not only have I been teaching you, but I have been your guide and protector for as long as I've known you. I have been training far longer than you have and I have been to places you haven't. And even I can tell you that you speak lies!" Yes Nokosi. You knew that she was genuinely mad.
"I know everything there is to know about you. In life, in love, in battle. Every trick, every strategy, every thought you take. Of course I make it hard on you. Because that's how I know that you won't ever take it easy on anyone. You're trained to use all your assets. I'm trained to use my gifts. You were at a disadvantage from the very start and you still fought with more bravery than anyone I've ever known."
Her tone softened as she took a deep breath. "You are far from useless Nokosi... You've come a long way from when you where born. That alone is testament to your strength. And you know I speak the truth. You've felt it yourself. So don't take out sparring session as an excuse to belittle yourself because I won't have it. Frankly I'm surprised you even spoke as such!"
no subject
[You are right...you are. But as you, yourself said, you are hard on me, so why wouldn't I be harder on myself?]
Nokosi relaxed in her arms, even though her body had been tense just a moment ago. He allowed his fingers to trail along her arm while the other tentatively touched the large, sticky red blotch matted in his hair.
[Can I be truthful with you, Ellistree?] He was going to be regardless of how she answered. [I have little care for any of these people, for their situations or what is to come of them. Perhaps in time my opinion will change if we befriend each other, but until then my chest remains free of much concern to their well-being.
[I have lived in the forests of Ashenvale and the surrounding woods for over 160 years, primarily alone. In all that time I did not tire, despite my conditions, views on the world and the impending war. I am not sure how long or little I have been aboard this ship but I am tired, Ellistree. There is little that keeps me from awakening with anxiousness in my being and I can a part of myself slowly curling up to hide, to die, I do not know...every day.It is worse for Fontaine. Being cut off like that makes him feel as if he's hollow inside. As if a part of him is nothing but a void.]
[But then I am reminded that there must be something, somewhere that feels some sympathy, or perhaps pity for me, because you showed up. And I feel...I felt good. Everyone is busy with their own things and days and I am not able to spend time with them, but then you show up and...and..]
A small smile spread over his lips and he shook his head slightly. [And I was mad. Selfish. Possessive. I know you will be seeing Ronnae later and Billy will probably be there. I could kill him for that, you know; their double standards aside. I explicitly didn't want to share my little bit of happiness in a bleak situation with anyone other than Ronnae, but now I have to. It's too late to do anything about that, because that is who you are. And I hate it. But it is one of the things I love, too.]
Nokosi ran his hand across his forehead, pushing the bangs that framed his face out of the way. He exhaled slowly, then dropped his arm back to his side to cradle his aching stomach.
[Useless. Those thoughts. That is why I said that, you know.]
no subject
But he wasn't. He had been her friend, and her lover, jealousy was natural, just not favored by her family who believed in a more caring and affectionate way. To share that love with those that matter to you, or even those who deserve it.
"Nokosi... have you already forgotten what I taught you about the spirits of nature? How all the elements are tied together and that life brings them all as a whole? So if you would have focused on such, you would have known that you are not that far from that which makes you and Fontaine whole. It just takes more nurturing and more concentration to notice, to harness it, to enjoy it. But even in this small section of such a massive creature as this, I can take comfort in what nature is present."
"I will also be speaking with Fontaine in private, making sure he understands this as well and helping him make a greater connection to the life that is on board for he needs it, as a sacred spirit beast. He is as much part of this environment as the one that we lived in for we are all linked at the most basic of connections, and that is life."
A small smile crossed her lips and she laughed a little, brushing some hair off of his face and bringing him closer, her lips finding his as she began a slow and rising kiss. It was clear, just by the intense emotions being felt from the simple action that she cared greatly for him, and he would surely feel it as well. It was long, loving and steady, until she moved back, her eyes mere slits as she focused on his own.
"You know I love you Nokosi, that has never changed. But you know the life I lead and my beliefs... You know I give myself to no one I do not wish to and that it is only those who I truly believe are worthy of it. Can you not see the effect that they have had on both my loved ones? I can see that this would not have been a safe or livable environment for either of you... and yet here you are. In good health and mostly good spirits. And I'll bet that they have something to do with it..."
"You know that I want to... That I'd give myself to you should you allow it before I have to depart. It's something I would relish and love. Much akin to how I always have. You know you mean very much too me, and I know that I mean just as much if not more to you."
no subject
"Ellistree..."
Her words...that was not what he meant, not at all.
[I have no problem with you giving yourself to others. It is how you are, how you've always been. I love you, Ronnae and Nehaalista for all your different traits. What I mean is that I was simply being overly selfish. I wanted your time, all of it, for me. And Ronnae. For no other reason than I care about you so much that I only wanted that happiness for myself in the little time we have.
[I know you would give it to me if you were not here for such a small amount of time; of that I am certain.] He raised a hand to run along her cheek, a smile pulling on his lips. [You shouldn't think so deeply of the selfish things I say, Ellistree. I am still like a child, sometimes; throwing my own fit if things don't play the way I want them to. I can't help it, though...you all have spoiled me rotten with the attention and time I was lavished with and so, given how I tend to feel from time to time, I was greedy.]
no subject
"Sheesh Nokosi... never change. You really are unique." A smile spread big along her lips.
"You said it yourself. If I knew that I had more time. I would dedicate the entire day to you. You know this. Maybe if fate deems it so, I may return and we may have an entire week just to ourselves."
They could go adventuring and he could show here the lay of the land here. She was rather curious about such a large beast that made her thing of Ancient Ones.
