When the Big Girls Play~! [Visitation Day Plot! Completely Open!]
Ellistree had followed Nokosi and Kaya into hydroponics, and for the first time since arriving on board the Transmigration 9 did she feel at complete ease.
Not that she felt bad being around the odd vessel, but the lack of nature was uncomfortable for sure. The vast variety of flora and fauna in the place was an amazing breath of fresh air, and it was clear that the child of nature was at home in such environments. It almost looked as if her skin took on a beatiful glow as she sauntered off through the place, smiling and dancing amongst the trees, and creatures kept in Hydroponics.
The rather tall elf was trully in a state of bliss, and anyone who approached her might get a sudden hug, or a playful gesture depending on how they approached her. But granted a more hostile approach won't be shyed away from, after all, Ellistree was fiercer than most feral druids, and that was saying a lot. It could be balmed on the blood that coursed trough her veins, making her even more dominant and aggressive than normal.
[[OOC: Open post! Really! Anyone can join in, don't be shy, she won't bite (Much!). You're free to interact with anyone who's in the initial post (Ellistree, Nokosi, Kaya, Billy or Ronnae. Or you can join in the FFA tag spree between them, it's all game! Threadjacking encouraged! Feeling brave enough to poke at the tall elven looking woman?! Go for it! It's all for fun!]]

Life on Azeroth seemed so interesting, there was so much to ask. So he'd start with the simplest of questions. Something he'd been wondering about ever since he'd seen her scoop Ronnie up. "Are most people in the family as tall as you? Would I have difficulty being seen at their house?"
no subject
"No, not really. I'm one of the tallest girls actually. Most everyone is averaged sized for their race, and oddly enough, we have a lot of shorties~ Which I find totally cute."
She smiled as her eyes narrowed in thought, "Like in Ronnie's immediate family, there's at least four shorties including her and one of her mothers."
no subject
That was his defense and he was sticking to it. Oh, he'd been bullied quite a bit for looking so small and vulnerable as a child. That had not been fun, but he was feeling a little better about it now. He didn't mind short people at all---it was lucky, actually, that he and Ronnae were close to the same size. He couldn't imagine how awkward it would be if she was as tall as Ellistree.
"Is it awkward to navigate the world with so many smaller people? Or to be with one?" ...not necessarily 'be' in that sense, but he was curious there as well.
Sorry about this! I never got the notif...
Pausing for a moment, Elli moved closer and wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled him against her, marking the size difference with her body and grinning a bit deviously.
"Now see, it isn't that bad now is it? I've had plenty of partners that are shorter or much shorter than me. Which isn't really surprising considering my height. It's not really awkward for me, like I said, I find it rather cute and adorable," she reinforced that by playing with Billy's hair with her free hand, the other still at his waist, fingers rubbing against his skin idly.
"If anything, it's usually them who might feel a bit awkward? But not always, I've known some shorties who have much more aspirations and attitude than taller people. As if they had more to prove than anyone else, and they become courageous and fierce. "
Don't worry! :D
"Hey!" Soon enough, he was relaxing against her and being patient with her touches. Surely this was all part of the test. His hand found a spot on her back to hold for stability as he thought on this.
"Like small dogs," Billy thought aloud. "They usually have more aggressive temperaments than larger dogs because they need to feel safe. But a short person just wants to prove themselves, right? I think Ronnie does that sometimes," he smiled. Those had always been fun moments.
As he thought, he searched Ellistree's face carefully for the similarities and differences. She too had beautiful skin, hair, and ears, but they were a different shade. Was her skin texture like Ronnie's? He wasn't quite daring enough to touch more, but his hand found her arm as he attempted to find out.
no subject
"Well, you could say that." A devious grin on her face. "Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you considered me insane. There's a wide variety of social norms considering that there's so many sentient races, all with their own cultures and beliefs so it's hard to get a common ground as to what is considered insane and what isn't."
She smiles at the association between pups and people and nodded, "Yes, this is true. And Ronnae has been trying to prove herself to the world every since she joined the same path that her family took as far as protecting our world. You see, it's not enforced at all in the house, you can live a normal life if you so desire so long as you keep to your studies and such. But most of us follow in our parents footsteps and become part of the ever continuing struggle that Azeroth has been facing for over fiteen thousand years."
Not minding the touch at all, Ellistree smiled, looking down at the human youth with curious eyes. While a different texture from Ronnae's, Elli's heritage was heavily present on her features. She also had small tusks, not the same as Ronnae however, it was also clear that she had the same types of fangs as other Kal'dorei like Nokosi had. Her skin, midnight blue, was fair, akin to a smooth and silky leaf from a rainforest, her ears were also much longer than Ronnae's, but not as expressive.
no subject
He nodded seriously. "We've talked about that. I have some power, and I can also fight, but even with my powers I'll never be able to withstand what you all can. I can fight what we face out here, but on Azeroth I'd be sidelined as a mechanic. It doesn't seem to bother her, though."
Even though it bothered him sometimes. What kind of husband was he if he couldn't join in? He busied himself with taking in Elli's features, in awe of what he saw. "No wonder you're popular."
no subject
"It doesn't, and it shouldn't bother you either. Not everyone is cut out for the field, but we all do what we can with the gifts we have and develop over time, improving them little by little. We have a good amount of engineers in the house, matter o' fact, one of her mothers, and the Matron of the entire household is the lead engineer. I'm sure Hinzy wouldn't mind having another set of hands around... tho I'd warn ya that she loves to tease everyone since she's also the one to teaches every, single one of us about sexuality and the ideals of the family." A light chuckle escaping her lips as she knew exactly what that might mean for poor Billy, which in turn would make many of the outsiders of the house very very jealous considering how coveted the Frost Queen of Dalaran was.
At the comment, Elli smiled warmly at him, "How sweet of you. I can't say I disagree, I'm fairly popular around both factions too since I have diplomatic immunity. I work as an ambassador for both sides, so I get to freely walk the capitols of both factions."
no subject
"Then I'd help her, sure." He looked faintly embarrassed, as he was warned about that previously. "There's so much to learn, isn't there? You have that unique opportunity. And are you the only one of the family with immunity?"
no subject
"But like I said, it's a long and hard road filled with obstacles, so there's only about a handful of ambassadors in the house, which is very little considering how huge the entire family is."
no subject
"She's never mentioned exactly how big your family is. You mentioned a branch, but I still don't have the scope of it. I just know that you seem to have...fun."
Sorry for the TL;DR >.<
"Well, I noticed, from talking with her for a bit, that her and little Kosi aren't from the same timeline as I am... Which isn't really a big deal considering that the Bronze Dragon's love screwing around with time often. So I'm not really worried or concerned with such time differences."
"But! I can tell ya the short version~" A smile formed on her face as she looked down at him, rubbing his hair in a comforting manner as she spoke.
"The head of the family is Grand Master Marcus Raithos Oliviera. There's a LOT about that man that I can't disclose in a place like this, but I'll just say that he's the most respected and revered member of the family for more reasons than just being the head of the Oliviera House."
"He currently has three mates, Sora, Antoinette and Sharress, and--" she pauses and for a moment, seems to be deep in thought before laughing, "Okay, if I try to count how many children that man has... I'd be here for a while. Anyways, Ronnie's particular branch comes from, ironically enough, the three eldest daughters to grandfather, Grand Master Oliviera. Nalizara, the eldest, Hinzan the second eldest and Matron of the house, and Drakkaa, Ronnie's biological mother and third eldest daughter. Now those three girls make up the female's of the clan house while Maderas, Ronnie's biological father, and Myrioku, Maderas' best friend and lover, make up the males of the house."
Okay! Details!
"Now, this particular branch came about by Drakkaa and Maderas becoming life mates, in turn, Myrioku and Hinzan also became life mates, but Maderas and Myrioku were also lovers and as such, they all began their family branch, starting their clan as Drakkaa would say. Maderas and Drakka are the current alphas, but if you ask me, it's only cause Hinzy doesn't like the responsibility that comes with it, so she lets her little sister be the figurehead... I'm sure she run things form the background. Anyways, Nali came in later, becoming Maderas' lover as well and joining the clan to make up the parental figures of the clan."
"Now, let's see, Maderas and Drakkaa have two cubs, Ronnie and Kayeth, Ronnie's eldest brother. Myrioku and Hinzan have two as well, Sanosuke and Hinata who's the same age as Kayeth, you should ask how that came about, it's a rather funny story. Then, let's see, Maderas had triplets with Nalizara; Roslyn, Marcus and Kitsunara, and one more cub later, Nadine. He also has two more cubs, Maddy, who he had from his lover Zarith... sadly she... she died in the northrend war..." she paused, frowning a bit... that particular war had been rather heavy on their family.
"And he also has an adoptive daughter, Freya. Anyways, Drakkaa and Myrioku also had a cub, Hattori'zaram. And there's three people who were taken in by the family, friends of the kiddos, who are now just as much part of the family as anyone else in that particular household, Danneth, Clarissa, and Marik."
She laughed, grinning down at him. "Still with me? Or did I lose ya along the way? Regardless, that's the Ryllos-Teki-Shinwa branch of the Oliviera House, the one Ronnie belongs to, and that's only one of the branches of the entire, current family tree. I'm part of the Moonshadow-Oliviera branch. And Maderas' son Kayeth and Myrioku's daughter Hinata, went off and built their own branches as well as they started their own families with their respective mates."
A big smile rose on her face as memories of the huge family vacations surfaced, "Needless to say, I love every single one of them. Even if there's some rather crazy characters in the lot, they all make me feel proud to be part of this grand tree that our grandfather has built."
no subject
"Wow. I imagine that's a lot of birthdays to keep track of! If you celebrate birthdays that is. I doubt you have the same calendar, but I could figure it out sometime. I've been thinking about throwing a party for Ronnie---a quiet one, I don't want to scare her."
He laughed, settling down in the grass. "It must've been harder for her than I can imagine---to move from having such a large and close family to...this, with just Nokosi and Fontaine for friends. My family was small and distant, so at least it was less heartwrenching."
no subject
At the latter comment she nodded, a small sigh escaping her lips. "I agree, she must have felt horrid... so I'm really happy she's got Nokosi and her new friends, specially you. You seem to make her rather happy from what I witnessed earlier." A smile forming on her lips as she rubbed and massaged his head some more, finding the little sounds all too adorable.
no subject
"It's that soon? I should start planning something, then. I know the date won't be quite right but I'd like her to have a great day. Sunflowers, baked goods, a quiet day with friends...maybe we can pile together like we did again. I want to see that smile more often."
He nodded, looking serious. "From what I've seen, she needs happiness in her life. I'm just glad I can give it to her. I know our lives are far from perfect, but we do enjoy ourselves."
no subject
"That sounds like it'd be wonderful. I'm sure she'd love that. She does have a rather endearing smile doesn't she? I always enjoyed watching her relax under the trees and near rivers. She's a little sweetheart, always has been."
He gained a little ruffle of his hair before she smiled, "And I'm glad for that, more than you'd think. So long as you all work together, I am sure you will persevere. It's the way we've kept Azeroth safe for millenia, so it should work here too~" Winking at him as she smiled a little.
no subject
"I can promise you that. Whatever's in my power to keep Ronnae safe, I'll do it. I promised her once, but I'm formalizing that vow someday soon."
Yes, he was going to ask her to marry him. Again. Tentatively, he pushed himself closer and offered an arm for a hug. "I just wish everyone could be here."
no subject
"Hey, that's what you all are working for isn't it?" she said with a wide smile, though she also knew the dangers of following another group's plan with the intention of being given the possibility of something. Putting your trust on a group you barely know anything about was a dangerous gamble.
"You'll be good, like I said, long as your crew stays together and fights together, you'll pull through."
no subject
"Yes. No matter what. If I have to build a way to cut across worlds to be with her, I won't stop until I've done it. And it's not so impossible. It'd be great to have you here, though. I hope you're truly released someday."
no subject
As to why her grandfather would know how to do such a thing would be left if he decided to ask.
"But yes, as I would love to stay here and fight alongside you all, make sure you kids stay out of trouble. But it appears this Stacy has other plans for the time being. At least I'm made comfortable by the things I've seen today, including how you treat my little Ronnie and Nokosi alongside Kaya."
no subject
Billy wanted to know what he might be working with in the future. He sat up a little straighter, expression slightly downcast with worry. This had to work, it just had to. Space couldn't break them up, not after all they'd been through.
But he knew that it was always a sad possibility.
no subject
"He used to be a planestraveler. Did a lot of dimensional travel through magic, or so we're told. He used to be immensely powerful, but upon settling down on Azeroth, he had to pass on the title and powers to his successor in the line of Planeswalkers."
Not to say he still didn't hold vast power, but upon deliverance of his title, he also had to uphold the oath to be an observer, a watcher, see how the world acted without outside influences.
"So he has knowledge on magic that might be able to bring you both together again."
no subject
He turned a coin from his belt buckle between his fingers, wondering and hoping that their love would continue. That brought up more questions. "Actually---I just realized that I never asked. Do you have a mate?"
no subject
At the latter question Ellistree smiled widely, letting a small little laugh escape her lips.
"Mates? I have many, including little Nokosi. Lifemate? Yes, I have my alpha. Rohnen, he's a noble from Silvermoon." Any more info would have to be asked, Elli was a simple person, as most nature lovers were.
no subject
Billy felt significantly better now that he had a trinket or few in mind. He would make sure they had a way to find each other before the end. Now that that was out of the way, he smiled at her and got down to the simpler questions.
"If it's not too intrusive...what's Rohnen like? What makes him a good alpha?"
