When the Big Girls Play~! [Visitation Day Plot! Completely Open!]

Ellistree had followed Nokosi and Kaya into hydroponics, and for the first time since arriving on board the Transmigration 9 did she feel at complete ease.

Not that she felt bad being around the odd vessel, but the lack of nature was uncomfortable for sure. The vast variety of flora and fauna in the place was an amazing breath of fresh air, and it was clear that the child of nature was at home in such environments. It almost looked as if her skin took on a beatiful glow as she sauntered off through the place, smiling and dancing amongst the trees, and creatures kept in Hydroponics.

The rather tall elf was trully in a state of bliss, and anyone who approached her might get a sudden hug, or a playful gesture depending on how they approached her. But granted a more hostile approach won't be shyed away from, after all, Ellistree was fiercer than most feral druids, and that was saying a lot. It could be balmed on the blood that coursed trough her veins, making her even more dominant and aggressive than normal.

[[OOC: Open post! Really! Anyone can join in, don't be shy, she won't bite (Much!). You're free to interact with anyone who's in the initial post (Ellistree, Nokosi, Kaya, Billy or Ronnae. "It's one of the best places that anyone on the ship can be," Kaya said, not bothering to hide her bias. "At first, I thought it was just a nice place for Zhin to run and play and be as free as she wanted: Stacy tends not to offer her the kind of space she wishes for. But the longer I stay here, the more I see its on of the few real places you can stay and remember the grass, the smell of flowers. Things we took for granted."

The gesture made her redden slightly, if only because Kaya wasn't used to the affection: from Ellistree, she found, like Nokosi, it was more than welcome. There was nothing creepy or strange about it, just THEM to their core.

"I'm glad. And you know, I can take you to see anything else, if you want. It's not a problem!"

"In that case, maybe its a good idea you aren't on the ship. There are places you can go to simulate the surroundings you want and all, but it can't compare to the real thing: feeling the grass beneath your feet, smelling flowers, seeing the different colors animals can bring the night. I'd hate for that to make anyone unhappy: its a struggle even for Nokosi."

And there she was, taking her time to enjoy this place, all of the subtle, small things people forgot. Kaya couldn't help but be attracted to a person like that: they were the type that lived in their own world, and cherished the things that kept the world balanced but was often unseen.

"In that case, would you mind if I stayed with you a little while? I don't get many days off, but I think it would be great to spend it with someone so close to my friends, and listen to your stories."

Kaya looked down, an anxious look on her face. "Yes, I've thought of that: Fontaine must go through a lot, being on the ship. I'm glad when we land on a planet, where he can at least run and find some reprieve. I was pretty unhappy to find out he got injured in that last battle with the Ohm, but I guess there's a lot I need to learn about spirit animals and why they do what they do."

She smiled. It was almost like another girl, far from the woman that greeted Ronnae so affectionately. She supposed once Elli, like her, were in their element they tended to pull back into their serene self.

"Thank you. Would you tell me a little about what you've seen in your travels? I know a little from Nokosi and Ronnae, but I;d love to learn more of your story."

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
"I told Nokosi I would too: apparently, he's taking a shine to me, and Zhin seemed to regard him pretty well too. If I didn't know better, I'd think that she respected him. I'm glad too: I can see that part of Nokosi in him. He's never outright said that, but I feel like that's the kind of person he is."

It was one of the things Kaya loved about him, once you right got down to it.

"More specific..." Kaya mumbled, thinking to herself. "Well, honestly, there is something I'm curious about. Ronnae told me that you and her share a special relationship, one that was far more intimate that family in my world. I'm not trying to judge, but I suppose what I'm wondering is how those feelings...sort of manifest."

Kaya, after all, had not gotten that intimate with anyone full force, not yet: she was wondering if her feelings for Nokosi might mirror the answer she'd get.

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Actually, yes, I've noticed that!" Kaya laughed, remembering what Nokosi said. "I guess its a compliment, and I should take it as such, but I can't help feeling a little strange abut that. With animals in my world, its usually all about how they treat an animal. Still, I won't lie, its very flattering."

She smiled, reflecting quietly. "I suspected it was something like that. Ronnae never gt into as much detail about it as you, but I could tell that was what she felt,s he just didn't have the words to describe it. For a little while, I wondered about Ronnae's intention with Billy: I thought she might be with other people besides him for the wrong reasons. I understood, like Billy, that this was how you saw love and affection, and I stopped worrying. You can look at the two of them and tell right away how much they love each other. Even if they had some others, that wouldn't change that about them."

Kaya stretched. "And once I realized that to a certain extent, it just taught me there are more than one way to love people."

Now onto other questions. "How did you come to meet Nokosi?"

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 10:39 am (UTC)(link)
"I've seen them look happy for awhile," Kaya admitted, looking somewhat pleased. "It's been on of the happier times on the ship, watching the love blossom between the two of them. Truth be told, due to a friendship made in the past, Billy and I had a friendship with another friend that was deep on a spiritual level, and that was taken from the both of us when that friend was repodded. I thought Billy would never get close to anyone again, and then Ronnae comes into the picture. I'm very happy for the both."

She laughed, longer than she expected. "Oh, why does that not surprise me? Nokosi is such the type of person who would be sitting in the middle of a street watching people? He's such a peculiar individual, he would so be the type of person doing that."

There wasn't anything exasperated in her own tone, quite the contrary: she sounded amused, actually charmed more than anything. There was a light in her eyes when she thought of Nokosi, and after what Elistree had said so far, he had always been the same slightly off zany character he'd was now.

"It's still hard for me to imagine people wanting to hurt Nokosi," she said, shaking her head, "just as I don't understand why people would hurt and blatantly misuse Ronnae when she was young. I guess I'm still a little uneducated on some things about basic human beings."

She sighed. "Ok, now for the good stuff: got any embarrassing stories involving Nokosi?"

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 11:34 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm happy to see them together too," Kaya admitted. "Apart the two of them are prone to get into more trouble, but together they can support and love the other. Billy is one of the gentlest men I know: he'll give Ronnae the moon if you don't stop him."

She laughed lightly, silently happy for her Bonded: he made being on Stacy a lot more bearable than she might initially let on.

She sighed, thinking of Ronnae and Nokosi. "The two of them have been through a lot, and the truth is, since I've met them I've sort of vowed to defend both of them if need be. That's a little easier with Ronnae than it is for Nokosi: he is prone to get into trouble."

And no matter what, she vowed to erase that pain in Ronnae that made her think she needed to please everyone, or that she was less than anyone else.

"Oh gosh!" She chuckled, laughing. "I'm beginning to think it might be a good idea we haven't gotten to sex yet!"

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 12:28 pm (UTC)(link)
"Likewise, Billy needs someone who will like him for who he is, and what he is is a very trusting, sincere man ever since I got here. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't have thought we would be as close as we are today back then. Billy was a bit more closed off, and it wasn't until we met out mutual friend we saw each other. Ronnae was amazing enough to see it when the two of the met."

She smiled. "Well in a way, I guess I'm sort of an outsider too, but that's a long story for some other time. In any case, I love the two of them very much."

Kaya turned red, but gave Ellistree. "Actually? I would too."

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well," Kaya said, "while I was here on the ship, I had several different trainers, people who taught me various different things. One of them, well, two, were part of a sister clan called the Bene Gesserit. They were well versed in fighting, politics, fighting poisons, and definitely sex. I never got to learn it firsthand, but I was left with some instruction. If that ever happened with Nokosi and I, I would be ready."

Kaya may feel embarrassed and weird about it, but she'd be damned if she went into something without the knowledge of what she was doing.

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's been long enough that I feel less embarrassed about it than I used to," Kaya admitted. "What's really the thing I worry about is being any good. It's sort of new territory for me, and the last time I got that intimate with someone, well, for lack of a better term we were interrupted. It was a very awkward situation, and one it would actually take a long time to explain, but needless to say it was something I never got to revisit in a long time, so when it happens, I want to be prepared."

Sadly, studying only helped you along so much.

"That...might help," she finally said, fighting a blush. "I'll use what I can get, after all."

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Kaya was glad of that: if anything, Kaya wanted to make her past mentors and teachers proud, and wanted to show her new boyfriend how much she cared for him when the time came. It was good to get the advice too: they were things about Nokosi she needed to be aware of.

But that didn't mean Kaya thought she'd be able to do it easily. It was one thing to train to fight: you had teachers to show you the right and wrong way, to guide you, and then you were able to do what was necessary.

"I know its a strange request, and believe me, I'm still surprised I'm doing this, but...will you show me?"

Determination was really Kaya's middle name when it came to these kind of situations, and she followed her to the clearing, her heart beating faster than she expected. She thought this kind of thing would be awkward, as she had hardly ever seen anyone in quite this way.

But as it turned out, Kaya had nothing to worry about. With Ellistree it was shockingly comfortable and relaxed, and though Kaya knew it wasn't necessary to disrobe, she DID have to at least loosen her clothes a bit, and the more she learned, the more she realized whey Ronnae had wanted her touch before she left. Ellistree was somehow a balance of sexuality, able to be both domineering yet gentle, fluid and tactile, and Kaya, even without disrobing, found herself in a state of bliss, quietly contemplating the art of the rush of endorphins and applied pressure to the skin, each with its own nerve endings.

Kaya was actually at Ellistree's back, giving the tall woman a massage, freely offered. "Yes, she said softly, a secret smile on her face. "I see it now."
