The foothills of the Khur mountains were covered by long, slightly sticky, brownish-green grass that made annoying clicking noises when the wind blew through them. That clicking noise, however, was completely covered up by the sounds of battle, as Kang faced off against a group of goblins. He turned sideways to dodge a sword with a jagged, rusty blade, and swung his battle-axe, burying it in the goblin's chest. He wasted no time in yanking it out and spinning around to cleanly behead another one that had come up behind him.
He hadn't consciously thought this particular, familiar, location up; he'd just wanted to blow off some steam. He'd had a lot on his mind since the battle had ended.
Most of that was Crucible.
Why had the bronze saved his daughter, and even let her ride on his back in battle? It made no sense to the bozak. Bronzes, like the other metallics, killed his kind.
Growling, he swung again, muttering a curse when his axe blade deflected off of the third goblin's crappy armor and swiftly bringing it back up to parry its spear. Then, he ducked and spun his tail around to knock his foe's feet from underneath him; it was dead from disembowelment before it even had a chance to get back up.
He continued without pause until all eight were corpses, and took a step back, panting from the exertion.

Quietly, she approached, and tested the body of one dead goblin (so similar to the ones in Azeroth) with a hoof. [What troubles you?]

His wings rustled. "You know there's a bronze dragon from Krynn on the ship?"

"Sounds like someone's not in a happy mood." he said, off-handedly. Kang had an axe at the moment. By the looks of it, coming in like he was would get his head cut off, so he stayed on his guard, sword at the ready.

Bight watched Kang silently for a while, he knew well what likely troubled the draconian, indeed, he himself was the source. Nevertheless the Dragon lord stepped forward as Kang dispatched the final Goblin, "Kang, it is good to see not even a battle such as the one past could keep you down,"

He wasn't going to thank Crucible for that.

He looked at the corpses for a moment, not particularly affected by the deaths, after all. "But slaying goblins amidst the foothills is the first combat use I ever put my magic to."

"Seems like goblins aren't well liked no matter where you go. What was the reason?"

Watching how Kang handled and battle-ax was one of those situations. Should he look in her direction, she'd give him a polite wave and a small bow.

"I've never fought creatures like this before," she explained. "I assume they are from your world?"

Of course, he was pretty sure Earth That Was hadn't had little green critters fighting a guy like Kang.
Watching the show the Draconian, (Kaylee had beat the correct term into his skull), put on, Mal barely looked to the side as a stray Goblin came charging at him, putting a bullet in the short warrior's head with nary a second thought.
"This sorta thing happen often where you're from?"

Looking back up at Kang, Mal found it a lot easier to accept the fact that the being standing before him wasn't actually human. After the battle they, as a ship, had just been through, the existence of aliens was suddenly a very small matter. "I know all about personal reasons. Sorry to be interrupting."
