It was a programming error, quite possibly, due to the electrical shock given out quite rarely on stage 2, or something deliberately planned in by bored programmers, but regardless, the both of them had, somehow, when done this sequence near perfectly (looking mortified aside), the screen flashed blue and the music suddenly stopped. They'd entered the almighty Kokami code!
