Lirath - Ground Battle
After dropping off some of the crew at Balisair, it was time for the crew to set course for Lirath. The situation greeting them wasn't the most promising.
The cracked surface of the moon called Lirath was one of its most unmistakeable features. One of the three moons of the planet Kehoe, it had been terraformed and served as a settlement for a hundreds of different species, some humanoid, some not. Despite occasional class struggles, environmental issues, and speciesism blocking their way, the darker parts of Lirath's past were largely left behind, and an era of peace and tolerance had reigned for quite some time. The only problems they'd had recently were with a terrorist group whose cause for their actions had been a mystery, but they weren't tied to any particular species or social group and had been likened to a cult and had largely gone quiet in recent years.
Now the peace on the moon of Lirath had been shattered by the invasion of the Ohm.
The capital city had been destroyed. Now, all that was left of the peoples of Lirath was evacuating from one of its smaller cities, one known as Smyteval. A desert city, existing in a valley in between a rocky range of canyons and mountains, even though it was in the low ground, the natural channels of rock served as bottlenecks for any Ohm attacking from the ground.
GIA squadrons patrolled in space, locked in explosive warfare, protecting the Bleed-gate that had been activated to see the evacuated ships to the refugee world, and a shield created by massively-powerful shield generators extended around the city and up into the atmosphere, creating a shielded tunnel so ships could escape.
Word had come that there was a vital weapon to be deployed on Lirath, one that needed to be destroyed, hence why the Transmigration 9 had been called in. Given the diverse crew, and the ships that were in its hangar, there was at least someone or something on board that could blow the weapon up if it did show.
There was no sign of it yet. Right now, there was just chaos, streams of evacuees boarding ships, armies of Ohm engaged with GIA soldiers outside the shields, and forcefields that everyone hoped would hold out just a little bit longer.
The crew would be following Leon's orders but finding themselves fighting side-by-side with GIA platoons, full of various species that were currently all getting their asses kicked severely.

Fire at another grunt, before ducking under a swipe from another Ohm and kicking it to give himself some distance. Then firing again.

Haven't seen her either. Funny, you'd think the giant hair or the suit'd be easy to spot in this mess. he said, going back to work.

I've not seen her either. And he was worried, but there wasn't much to do about it, except take advantage of the few seconds lull after the Ohm he was fighting fell.
"RED DRAGON THUNDERZORD POWER!"
no subject
she has to be ok, she'll make it.
She ducked low before sending wind attack. Once she had some leeway in her fight, she could call the Zord.
"PINK FIREBIRD THUNDERZORD POWER!"

She grabbed the Bat Shot and slotted in the corresponding Memory with the camera saying ! She then slid it over her sword and took it out of the ground.
"Stand back!" she shouted to her friends, taking her Nazca Memory out of the Driver and clicking it. !
The ground below them shook and rumbled, comparable to a 4.5 earthquake. A large spider shot across the ground, covering some of the Ohm with it. Nazca then dislodged her blade from the ground and held it up. The amount of power surging from the weapon was great and severely taxing on whatever strength she had left. With a scream, she began to charge at the Ohm as Seraphiel followed close behind her.
Seraphiel began to glow, feeding on the strength that Nazca's emotions were giving to him. Bright light emerged from him as feathers appeared out of seemingly nowhere as he was ready to pulverize the Ohm like his mistress was.
"NAZCA'S ELYSIUM FINAL EARTHQUAKE!" bellowed out Nazca as a significant portion of the Ohm were just... slaughtered. As if they were nothing but mincemeat to the Rider herself.
Unfortunately for her, Nazca collapsed to her knees, the blade resting at her side. She used way too much strength and way too much energy as her transformation was threatening to break from her recklessness. She did hope that it would be enough of a difference for the Rangers to get the access needed for their Zords.

He'd turned around to thank her when he saw just how much of a toll the effort had taken on her.
"Hoshi!"
It really worried him. She was wavering, cold...having experienced it himself once or twice, he recognized the signs of a morph threatening to break. And that would mean trouble for her arm.
Without another thought, Billy ran to her side and clutched her close. "That was fantastic, Hoshi. Now I'm taking you with me. The Tigerzord's cockpit can take you, we'll be back at the tent in no time."
Take your Zords and fight, guys. You're the main formation, I'll join you as soon as I can.
With that said, Billy stood to wait, the Blue Ranger feeling the heavy weight of tension all around him. He kept one arm pointed out with his blaster and the other around his friend, watching, waiting. Hoping the mechs would show up without incident.

He cawed in worry, looking over his mistress' condition with a sad look in his eyes. He made a motion for Billy to hurry her over to the tent.
"S-Shoutarou... Make sure you give 'em hell, big bro. Y-You too, Philip," she struggled to say before she then passed out from exhaustion and pain.
no subject
Hoshi, dammit--! You rest up. We're gonna have words when this is over.
Not that Shoutarou's innocent when it comes to this matter, but knowing what it'll do first hand is what's fueling his concern and irritation right now. He reached down with one hand, folding the belt and pulling the Xtreme Memory off. "Don't go too far, partner," he said, slotting in a pair of new memories. "We need a less-draining method of ranged attacking."
LUNA! TRIGGER!
That done, Shoutarou swooped the hoverbike down, landing not too far from Billy and Hoshi, and giving the Ohm a good dose of Bullet Hell. "Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!"

They were off without a second to lose, Billy casting worried glances in all the mirrors, particularly the ones pointing to Hoshi's side, whenever he could. He spotted a button out of the corner of his eye that was most likely the heat and punched it, praying for a sputtering of heat.
Whatever the heater did, he'd just race to the tent. And that was far more difficult than it sounded when Ohm were starting to re-enter the area, getting in his path. He pointed his blaster out the window, swerving around the first bit of debris with one hand on the wheel.
Ears pounding with adrenaline and fear, he used his Ranger communication system to send one more messag to Tenaya as they took off. I'll fix any damage to your car when we're through, promise.

Best to get her out of here while ye can, Billy. Good luck.
And then it was back to fighting. He fired on one of the Ohm trying to block the path of the car, knocking it back just a little. Hopefully the extra room would come in handy. There still wasn't any sign of the Zords, and that wasn't good. Had something happened to them? Were they being blocked, somehow?
"Och, where are they?"
no subject
"Yeah I know. I'm late!" She called out, taping the head of her robotic beast as it roared. "We all had a bit of a hanger problem."
no subject
Seraphiel. I'm going to let you transform again, okay? Help the others as you see fit.
With a nod, Seraphiel suddenly took off from the car, returning back to his archangel form as he flew through the maw of Ohm, whamming them with his cross before he returned to the group.
Philip, Shoutarou. Seraphiel's going to assist you. He trusts you, so use his power as you see fit, she said to Double. I think Philip knows how to have him attack, so just do what you do best and that's making sure no one cries. I'll be okay!
no subject
"And Shoutarou, I never explicitly told her to Don't Do A Twin Maximum, but we'll quibble semantics later."
He realized he was sounding very much like his mother at the moment.

"Alright now, what to do, what to do?" Rufus, who'd hitched a ride on the robot, poke his head over Ron's shoulder and started jabbering.
"Ohhoho, good idea Rufus." Ron said, calling up a illusion of a giant flyswatter.

He turned toward Ren, popping off a few shots in his direction to cover him. "Generally a couple per fight at the most, given how draining they are," he answered - his own movements were getting a bit sluggish from the drain of both the battle on the ship and this one.

"Glad you could make it through the downtown traffic," she cheerfully waved, and then sprung up into the cockpit. Once there, and secured, she was able to fire some blasts toward the Ohm. Now the odds had evened up more.
no subject
"I'll explain everything when we get back out of this," said Philip, directing Hoshi's holy beast.
"Seraphiel! Cast judgment upon all ye who are guilty!"
