Lirath - Ground Battle
After dropping off some of the crew at Balisair, it was time for the crew to set course for Lirath. The situation greeting them wasn't the most promising.
The cracked surface of the moon called Lirath was one of its most unmistakeable features. One of the three moons of the planet Kehoe, it had been terraformed and served as a settlement for a hundreds of different species, some humanoid, some not. Despite occasional class struggles, environmental issues, and speciesism blocking their way, the darker parts of Lirath's past were largely left behind, and an era of peace and tolerance had reigned for quite some time. The only problems they'd had recently were with a terrorist group whose cause for their actions had been a mystery, but they weren't tied to any particular species or social group and had been likened to a cult and had largely gone quiet in recent years.
Now the peace on the moon of Lirath had been shattered by the invasion of the Ohm.
The capital city had been destroyed. Now, all that was left of the peoples of Lirath was evacuating from one of its smaller cities, one known as Smyteval. A desert city, existing in a valley in between a rocky range of canyons and mountains, even though it was in the low ground, the natural channels of rock served as bottlenecks for any Ohm attacking from the ground.
GIA squadrons patrolled in space, locked in explosive warfare, protecting the Bleed-gate that had been activated to see the evacuated ships to the refugee world, and a shield created by massively-powerful shield generators extended around the city and up into the atmosphere, creating a shielded tunnel so ships could escape.
Word had come that there was a vital weapon to be deployed on Lirath, one that needed to be destroyed, hence why the Transmigration 9 had been called in. Given the diverse crew, and the ships that were in its hangar, there was at least someone or something on board that could blow the weapon up if it did show.
There was no sign of it yet. Right now, there was just chaos, streams of evacuees boarding ships, armies of Ohm engaged with GIA soldiers outside the shields, and forcefields that everyone hoped would hold out just a little bit longer.
The crew would be following Leon's orders but finding themselves fighting side-by-side with GIA platoons, full of various species that were currently all getting their asses kicked severely.

"Henshin!"
The pair swung their arms to opposite sides, while the Xtreme memory swooped up from behind, kicking up a small cyclone around Philip and Shoutarou. XTREME!
The cyclone fades quickly, revealing that the pair were replaced by Double. One hand closed near its chin while Double nodded, then the other hand pointed forward. "United in body and soul, we are the two-colored handkerchief, wiping away the tears of the universe - Kamen Rider Double!"

"Had to be fashionably late you know," she panted out before realizing people were already morphing. Yeah, she should get on that. Her strength was wearing out as it was, and the cold was making her shiver.
"PINK FIREBIRD!" she half yelled, half screamed over the din as she activated her morpher, and straightened up more as she felt strength returning with a swirl of wind.

"GREEN LION!"
"Time to squish some bugs!"

Seeing everyone transforming around him, he figured it was about time that he joined in. One good blow to the nearest opponent gave him a little bit of breathing room - and just enough time to also activate his morpher. "RED DRAGON!"
Once the transformation was complete, he took a minute to send out a few short bursts of fire to help clear the area around them, both of ice and the encroaching Ohm.

Said Gaia Memory landed into the port and there was a sound of activation as his form shifted and grew into a large bipedal cat monster with huge fangs. Mikku let out a low growl as he tore into the first Ohm he saw, moving incredibly fast for his size.
no subject
"Heh, going straight for the strongest form, eh?" she asked, smirking at Double. If they were going to go that route, she would too. The Gaia Memory Enhancement Adapter appeared suddenly in her hands and she took her memory out of her driver, slotting it in the adapter. It said when it was inserted in. Then, the screen read as she went to another form change for this battle. Fire and light washed over her once more while the same upbeat music played (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2OPEl-sU5Y). Finally, her armor had more detailed black lines on it to signify the change.
Nazca quickly unsheathed her sword and took to the skies with Seraphiel following close behind her. In a moment or two, she was naught but a blur, aiming slashes at both the Bombardiers and Shrikes while Seraphiel bludgeoned a good sized amount himself with his cross. Some of the Ohm she took care of fell to the ground, resulting in an explosion. She had hoped, though, that the ones on the ground were going to be all right, however.

He ran past a Grunt that had been rendered immobile but hadn't yet died. It had fallen on what he thought was maybe the remnants of one of those grav-tank things, but he couldn't quite tell if it was or not. It didn't matter so long as it what he needed to do worked.
The Scot took aim and fired at the rubble beneath the Ohm, removing the support it provided. The still-twitching creature unbalanced and started to slide down the other side, flipping over and right into the path of a Grenadier that had been about to fire, blocking the shot.
Rangers, we need a wee bit more room. Let's see what we can do about that, aye?

It was difficult, though, so he found himself breaking the lance into its two pieces. With a yell, he broke them, flipped the blades around, and rammed them in an effective spot he'd found.
"Almost there! We just need Lash..."
And Billy hoped she would come soon. The guards and firebugs were looming over them, coming closer and closer with their deadly weapons. They needed that Zord protection.

He would've used the staff, but well, getting close to the Ohm right now definitely wasn't the best of ideas, to say the least.

Once it was on, Shoutarou called out the Prism Bicker. The sword was drawn out and Shou steered with one hand as he took off, firing potshots from the HardTurbler at the Ohm.

Hopefully Lash can reach them soon.

It was apparent - at least to him - they couldn't afford to wait for Lash any longer. With the conditions getting worse, they needed the Zords now, even if they couldn't form the Mega Thunderzord without her. They'd just have to make do with what they had and hope she got here - if she still could.
We'll not last much longer without the Zords, he thought to the other Rangers. I'm calling them in. Out loud, he said, "We need Thunderzord power, now!"
no subject
"Thank you, Seraphiel," Nazca gratefully said with a nod. She took in a breath and turned to the Rangers. "We'll deal with the Ohm as best as we can while you wait for your Zords!"
Then, her focus shifted to Double and Odin, already having a plan in mind to hold the Ohm at bay while they waited for both Lash and the Zords. "Philip, Shoutarou, Ren, and Mikku! Do a Memory Break and then follow it up with a Maximum Drive, if necessary! We're gonna help them until their Zords come up and then work from there!"
She was already getting prepared to do her share, if the fire surrounding her was any indication. It helped to melt the ice forming on the ground, which would make it easier to stand on than just a solid sheet of ice. A projection of a bird (http://www.onagocag.com/nazbird.jpg) was displayed as her sword also ignited in flames, ready to attack.
"Nazca Striker!" she shouted as a series of slashes were sent at the Ohm, decreasing some of their numbers while she had Seraphiel perform his Judgment attack to help out.

With a snarling series of slashes, a whole line of Ohm went down in a fiery explosion with a stylized S blooming on either side of the pack of Ohm. Mikku seemed to be unconcerned with the amount of ichor on his claws and continued to shred and slash, moving much faster than the Ohm themselves, dodging and weaving around the attackers.
"He seems to be having fun," remarked Philip, the right eye of Double flashing.

As Double flies by, a rainbow laser fires from his shield, blasting at the Ohm swarms to clear up some room.

When he'd bounced over a few more Ohm heads and thrown himself into the air to spear something outside the range of the Riders' attacks, he hollered to the sky as if the mecha itself could hear him.
"WHITE TIGER THUNDERZORD POWER!"
That wasn't exactly what Tommy used to say, he realized as he landed and shot down the debris over an Ohm with a mangled leg in its mouth, but as he didn't have Saba it wouldn't be quite the same anyway. it just had to work.
Let's see how much ground we can cover separately. Jamie, you can shift into warrior mode and team up with me if you need to. When we need to combine, the other four of you can merge with mine or Jamie's.
That, of course, depended on Lash arriving. He really wished she would. ...but we'll need Lash. Has anyone---heard from her?
Billy's last message had been interrupted by something tackling him. It only managed to slice at his back before he shot at it and rolled away, springing up into a strike at something in front of him, but it was still a sign they needed to move.

Fire at another grunt, before ducking under a swipe from another Ohm and kicking it to give himself some distance. Then firing again.

Haven't seen her either. Funny, you'd think the giant hair or the suit'd be easy to spot in this mess. he said, going back to work.
no subject
I've not seen her either. And he was worried, but there wasn't much to do about it, except take advantage of the few seconds lull after the Ohm he was fighting fell.
"RED DRAGON THUNDERZORD POWER!"
no subject
she has to be ok, she'll make it.
She ducked low before sending wind attack. Once she had some leeway in her fight, she could call the Zord.
"PINK FIREBIRD THUNDERZORD POWER!"
no subject
She grabbed the Bat Shot and slotted in the corresponding Memory with the camera saying ! She then slid it over her sword and took it out of the ground.
"Stand back!" she shouted to her friends, taking her Nazca Memory out of the Driver and clicking it. !
The ground below them shook and rumbled, comparable to a 4.5 earthquake. A large spider shot across the ground, covering some of the Ohm with it. Nazca then dislodged her blade from the ground and held it up. The amount of power surging from the weapon was great and severely taxing on whatever strength she had left. With a scream, she began to charge at the Ohm as Seraphiel followed close behind her.
Seraphiel began to glow, feeding on the strength that Nazca's emotions were giving to him. Bright light emerged from him as feathers appeared out of seemingly nowhere as he was ready to pulverize the Ohm like his mistress was.
"NAZCA'S ELYSIUM FINAL EARTHQUAKE!" bellowed out Nazca as a significant portion of the Ohm were just... slaughtered. As if they were nothing but mincemeat to the Rider herself.
Unfortunately for her, Nazca collapsed to her knees, the blade resting at her side. She used way too much strength and way too much energy as her transformation was threatening to break from her recklessness. She did hope that it would be enough of a difference for the Rangers to get the access needed for their Zords.
