Lirath - Ground Battle
After dropping off some of the crew at Balisair, it was time for the crew to set course for Lirath. The situation greeting them wasn't the most promising.
The cracked surface of the moon called Lirath was one of its most unmistakeable features. One of the three moons of the planet Kehoe, it had been terraformed and served as a settlement for a hundreds of different species, some humanoid, some not. Despite occasional class struggles, environmental issues, and speciesism blocking their way, the darker parts of Lirath's past were largely left behind, and an era of peace and tolerance had reigned for quite some time. The only problems they'd had recently were with a terrorist group whose cause for their actions had been a mystery, but they weren't tied to any particular species or social group and had been likened to a cult and had largely gone quiet in recent years.
Now the peace on the moon of Lirath had been shattered by the invasion of the Ohm.
The capital city had been destroyed. Now, all that was left of the peoples of Lirath was evacuating from one of its smaller cities, one known as Smyteval. A desert city, existing in a valley in between a rocky range of canyons and mountains, even though it was in the low ground, the natural channels of rock served as bottlenecks for any Ohm attacking from the ground.
GIA squadrons patrolled in space, locked in explosive warfare, protecting the Bleed-gate that had been activated to see the evacuated ships to the refugee world, and a shield created by massively-powerful shield generators extended around the city and up into the atmosphere, creating a shielded tunnel so ships could escape.
Word had come that there was a vital weapon to be deployed on Lirath, one that needed to be destroyed, hence why the Transmigration 9 had been called in. Given the diverse crew, and the ships that were in its hangar, there was at least someone or something on board that could blow the weapon up if it did show.
There was no sign of it yet. Right now, there was just chaos, streams of evacuees boarding ships, armies of Ohm engaged with GIA soldiers outside the shields, and forcefields that everyone hoped would hold out just a little bit longer.
The crew would be following Leon's orders but finding themselves fighting side-by-side with GIA platoons, full of various species that were currently all getting their asses kicked severely.

In an instant and a silent incantation, Sasami would feel a huge amount of power flowing to her, as with everyone else who had a pactio thus far with him. He was essentially supercharging everyone within the range, and amplfying his magic.

Cold air gathered tight around Aqua as she used Glacier. She spun around, releasing a freezing blast all around her to hit the Tank, followed by a second blast.

And then she fell forward, only barely managing to use her legs and hands to keep herself from falling right onto her face. "Okay... maybe that took a lot more out of me than it first felt like."

Before she could say anything else, she was cut off by the sounds of rumbling. At that moment, two more tanks were marching up to join its wounded companion. They... weren't happy about what they saw.
"--do?"

Negi reacted automatically as he unleashed hell, loosing the two Thousand Bolts in their direction.
"YEAH COME GET SOME!" egged on Chamo atop Barry.

She pointed her Keyblade toward Will and cried, "Heal!" casting Curaga. "I don't know how much that'll help, but we've got to keep going."

The mech fired off another shot at the tank it had been attacking this whole time, before turning it's attention to another of the tanks and started shooting at it.

They would have, if it wasn't for a cat-like howl signaling a barrage of energy blasts, striking the Tanks and trying not to hit the mech.
"That... that howl..." Sasami uttered, gasping as she looked to the sky. "It's... IT's RYO-OHKI! (http://images.wikia.com/tenchi/images/f/fa/Ryo_ohki_ship.jpg)"
Having broken free of Stacy and making its way to the surface, the cabbit-turned spaceship hovered overhead, ready to do what's needed.

She picked herself up, tasting blood in her mouth. She was hurt, but not as badly as she could have been, and in any case, she didn't have enough power for another Curaga yet. Her own power was almost exhausted--she'd have to borrow from someone.
"Negi," she pleaded. "I'm going to need some help, if it's okay with you."
no subject
So she just sent a blast over at the tank that her Mech was still firing at, hoping to help do some more damage.

At the same time, Sasami herself ran to Aqua's side, hoping to help her once more.

"I need to form a D-Link with you. It'll let me use your powers and vice-versa, the same way Sasami's doing. Right now, I've almost exhausted my powers, and I need time to regain my strength."
no subject
He held out his hand for her to do whatever she needed to do.

Or at least it would be if Sasami didn't act. One of the Tanks came to a halt as it caught the massive energy "blade" she had formed once more.
"I won't let you hurt my family! You hear me?! Not again!" Sasami shouted, giving every last ounce of strength to fight the best and make it not race forward.
no subject
"Sasami!" she cried, racing over.
In a flash, her Keyblade changed form (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b100/Akino_Annwyn/Britt.jpg) to a white-and-blue blade, forged from her bond with Sasami. She held out Lighthawk and formed a barrier around Sasami so the Tank wouldn't harm her.

The mech rose back to it's feet, before charging at the tank again, thrusting it's one remaining limb back and then forward into a punch at the tanks head.
no subject
"Aqua-neesan... your weapon..." Sasami uttered, faltering just a bit, thought not noticing the beast's head starting to crack from the energy.
The other Tank, however, kept its focus on the mech, ready to tear it apart with its mandibles with Will next.

Accessing Negi's power, she unleashed a barrage of arrows at the Tank.

Raising back her "blade", she pulled back enough and let out a yell as she brought it down, slamming it on the Tank's head, finally breaking through and cleaving it in half. As the Tank dropped to the ground, dead, the last Tank caught hold of this and began to charge at the four once more.
