Lirath - Ground Battle
After dropping off some of the crew at Balisair, it was time for the crew to set course for Lirath. The situation greeting them wasn't the most promising.
The cracked surface of the moon called Lirath was one of its most unmistakeable features. One of the three moons of the planet Kehoe, it had been terraformed and served as a settlement for a hundreds of different species, some humanoid, some not. Despite occasional class struggles, environmental issues, and speciesism blocking their way, the darker parts of Lirath's past were largely left behind, and an era of peace and tolerance had reigned for quite some time. The only problems they'd had recently were with a terrorist group whose cause for their actions had been a mystery, but they weren't tied to any particular species or social group and had been likened to a cult and had largely gone quiet in recent years.
Now the peace on the moon of Lirath had been shattered by the invasion of the Ohm.
The capital city had been destroyed. Now, all that was left of the peoples of Lirath was evacuating from one of its smaller cities, one known as Smyteval. A desert city, existing in a valley in between a rocky range of canyons and mountains, even though it was in the low ground, the natural channels of rock served as bottlenecks for any Ohm attacking from the ground.
GIA squadrons patrolled in space, locked in explosive warfare, protecting the Bleed-gate that had been activated to see the evacuated ships to the refugee world, and a shield created by massively-powerful shield generators extended around the city and up into the atmosphere, creating a shielded tunnel so ships could escape.
Word had come that there was a vital weapon to be deployed on Lirath, one that needed to be destroyed, hence why the Transmigration 9 had been called in. Given the diverse crew, and the ships that were in its hangar, there was at least someone or something on board that could blow the weapon up if it did show.
There was no sign of it yet. Right now, there was just chaos, streams of evacuees boarding ships, armies of Ohm engaged with GIA soldiers outside the shields, and forcefields that everyone hoped would hold out just a little bit longer.
The crew would be following Leon's orders but finding themselves fighting side-by-side with GIA platoons, full of various species that were currently all getting their asses kicked severely.

Without any weapons, he just dodged the Ohm, waiting until they got to the Rangers before using the Memory.

Don't think you're leaving me out of this, Billy.
Tenaya had found the Fury sometime before and figured that as long as she was borrowing her brother's morpher, she might as well borrow his car while she was at it. He'd get over it. A crude power source was duct taped to the morpher, recharging it after the battle at the generator, but it would be at full charge by the time she reached them.

Things were thankfully starting to get into a bit of a repetitive zen for him. Though he had to make sure that he was not careless as he made his way over to the medical tent, it was obvious that he was starting to get exhausted.
But he was finally there, blasting at another Ohm. I'm at the medical tent!
Now, where was Billy? Oh, there he was, and Andy was close enough to hear his orders, and fired again, getting started on doing just that.

A little surrounded but on my way.

Made it!

"We'll need some room here, everyone pick up a weapon and push the Ohm back. The Riders and Rangers will handle the rest." I hope. he added silently as he threw a bag into the middle of the lightly wounded, filled with GIA issue guns scavenged from the battlefield.

"I can handle working together with someone to get some room with Seraphiel. As far as weapons go, I'm good," she spoke, trying to not focus on her arm too much. It'll be okay. As soon as we transform, I'll be okay, she told herself, still moving her hand up and down her arm.

Shoutarou's close to the medical tent when an Ohm collapsed from the attacks of the others in his path. No way to go but over it! Shou gunned the HardBoilder, popping a wheelie just before impact to drive up the bug's carcass and off it, going through the air and landing near the others.
...and sliding several feet due to the icy ground before coming to a wobbly stop.

Once he'd managed to get away, he pulled the bike up again and made his way over to the others, a bit bruised and bloodied, but ready.
"You sure this is going to work?" he asked Philip, holding up the Memory.
no subject
Pulling out his own Gaia Memory, he added, "It's set for the maximum power level possible. Go nuts. Shoutarou, Hoshi, Ren..."
"Meow."
"And Mikku. Let's go."
no subject
"BLUE UNICORN!"

Hoshi nodded at Philip and dismounted from her bike. She grabbed her Lost Driver from her vest and placed it around her waist, it fitting snugly. Then, the Nazca Memory came next and she gave it a click.
"Henshin!" she called out as the memory repeated itself. Then, a tune (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL4HTWZJfV4) played as soon as flames and light licked at her body, covering her in Nazca's blue armor. Just as she transformed, Seraphiel took his own transformation and went straight for his archangel form, easily towering over the Rangers and the Riders themselves.
"That's a lot better."

Just as Billy had that thought and swung at something in front of him, a crash from further away threw him off his feet. He found himself low to the ground as the others transformed, taking shots at a few underbellies. With any luck, that would buy them a little more time.
Finally, he pulled something from his own underbelly---the morpher he still carried, hopefully recharged from the first battle. Once the Ohm that had been about to take a chunk out of his face fell, he used the body as leverage to pull himself up. It was his turn to morph by then.
"Triceratops!" Billy roared over the wind, willing the charge of power to encase and protect him as it had before. The usual surge of adrenaline and the strength it brought flowed through him, and all appeared normal at first check. He'd have to see if it stayed that way, but for now, his lance needed to be stained with more Ohm innards.

"Henshin!"
The pair swung their arms to opposite sides, while the Xtreme memory swooped up from behind, kicking up a small cyclone around Philip and Shoutarou. XTREME!
The cyclone fades quickly, revealing that the pair were replaced by Double. One hand closed near its chin while Double nodded, then the other hand pointed forward. "United in body and soul, we are the two-colored handkerchief, wiping away the tears of the universe - Kamen Rider Double!"

"Had to be fashionably late you know," she panted out before realizing people were already morphing. Yeah, she should get on that. Her strength was wearing out as it was, and the cold was making her shiver.
"PINK FIREBIRD!" she half yelled, half screamed over the din as she activated her morpher, and straightened up more as she felt strength returning with a swirl of wind.

"GREEN LION!"
"Time to squish some bugs!"

Seeing everyone transforming around him, he figured it was about time that he joined in. One good blow to the nearest opponent gave him a little bit of breathing room - and just enough time to also activate his morpher. "RED DRAGON!"
Once the transformation was complete, he took a minute to send out a few short bursts of fire to help clear the area around them, both of ice and the encroaching Ohm.

Said Gaia Memory landed into the port and there was a sound of activation as his form shifted and grew into a large bipedal cat monster with huge fangs. Mikku let out a low growl as he tore into the first Ohm he saw, moving incredibly fast for his size.
no subject
"Heh, going straight for the strongest form, eh?" she asked, smirking at Double. If they were going to go that route, she would too. The Gaia Memory Enhancement Adapter appeared suddenly in her hands and she took her memory out of her driver, slotting it in the adapter. It said when it was inserted in. Then, the screen read as she went to another form change for this battle. Fire and light washed over her once more while the same upbeat music played (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2OPEl-sU5Y). Finally, her armor had more detailed black lines on it to signify the change.
Nazca quickly unsheathed her sword and took to the skies with Seraphiel following close behind her. In a moment or two, she was naught but a blur, aiming slashes at both the Bombardiers and Shrikes while Seraphiel bludgeoned a good sized amount himself with his cross. Some of the Ohm she took care of fell to the ground, resulting in an explosion. She had hoped, though, that the ones on the ground were going to be all right, however.

He ran past a Grunt that had been rendered immobile but hadn't yet died. It had fallen on what he thought was maybe the remnants of one of those grav-tank things, but he couldn't quite tell if it was or not. It didn't matter so long as it what he needed to do worked.
The Scot took aim and fired at the rubble beneath the Ohm, removing the support it provided. The still-twitching creature unbalanced and started to slide down the other side, flipping over and right into the path of a Grenadier that had been about to fire, blocking the shot.
Rangers, we need a wee bit more room. Let's see what we can do about that, aye?
no subject
It was difficult, though, so he found himself breaking the lance into its two pieces. With a yell, he broke them, flipped the blades around, and rammed them in an effective spot he'd found.
"Almost there! We just need Lash..."
And Billy hoped she would come soon. The guards and firebugs were looming over them, coming closer and closer with their deadly weapons. They needed that Zord protection.

He would've used the staff, but well, getting close to the Ohm right now definitely wasn't the best of ideas, to say the least.

Once it was on, Shoutarou called out the Prism Bicker. The sword was drawn out and Shou steered with one hand as he took off, firing potshots from the HardTurbler at the Ohm.
