Hoshi nods to Shoutarou, wanting to do something to break that silence, so she decides to give him a hug. As much as she could play up the part of pretending she was older than she was, it was nice to have people to lean on when the going got tough.
And, so, she rests her head on Shoutarou's chest, closing her eyes a little bit. All she wanted was to stay like this for a while, leaning on her surrogate big brother.
The action caught Shou off-guard, but given the nature of the conversation, he made no motions to resist the hug - while Hoshi was thankful for someone to lean on, so was he, as well as being someone that others can lean on.
One arm wraps around Hoshi, and the opposite hand rests on her head.
It's a bit before Shou realizes that Hoshi's dozed off. Once he does, though, he stays there a bit, and finally, he carefully eases out of the chair with her, carrying her to the bed in the agency. He lays her on it, and covers her before going back to his desk.
