Reintro Post!

What had he been doing? How long had it been? Superboy had no clue what as going on, all he knew was that he had woken up only to find that a few weeks had past. He didn't know what had happened over the time and it wasn't as if he knew a lot about the place to begin with.

So he found himself again wandering the city, but this time with a purpose. Discovering what happened to him.

((Mainly an excuse for why he wasn't around for all this time. If anyone wants to fanagle an explanation IM me. I'm definitely interested in whatever CR I can get at this point.))

Buffy Summers herself was down in the city, as well, though with no real purpose on her end. For the most part, she was exploring, getting to know her surroundings. She hadn't spent any real time doing that - most of the time she'd been in the ship, she'd either been in GLaDOS, on the observation deck, or in the Sensoriums.

She was very relaxed, which was weird for her, because Buffy wasn't the sort of person who had been prone to a lot of relaxation, currently. It was a nice sort of change for her, even though at the back of her mind, she was well aware that she'd been chosen all over again for a different war.

Ah fate, she mused to herself. You're about as funny as Fozzie Bear.

Superboy noticed that Buffy wasn't doing anything really, so he decided to ask her for help. Better to bother someone who has time if you have to be a bother. "Hey." He said, "Can I ask you something?"

Buffy tilted her head and studied Superboy. He seemed a little bit familiar to her. A lot like that Kon guy who she'd spoken to when she first popped. He sounded a little different, though, and he definitely carried himself differently.

And I've already learned that dopplegangers aboard this ship don't necessarily mean it's someone I already know.

"Hi," she smiled brightly at him. "Sure. Ask away. If I have an answer, well...then yay for you."

"What happened in the last few weeks?" He sighed, "I uh... don't remember."

Oh. Uh. Boy. "That's actually..." Buffy bit her lip. "I haven't been around here for...awhile. I was being tested. Which, you know, I guess I passed because here I am. Again. Without a clue on what to do." She frowned. "I'm...sorry?"

"Oh, well thanks anyway." He said.

"I'm Superboy." He said.

"Buffy," she said, holding out her hand to the teenager. "Buffy Summers." Yep, he definitely was/wasn't Kon. Kinda sorta. This place can be so bizarre sometimes. "Is everything okay? You don't have to make with the sharing if you don't want to, but you seem lost, and I know lost. Lost isn't fun. It usually leads you into the sewers with, like, some soul-sucking demon. Except maybe not on here. But still."

Superboy raised an eyebrow at her, "Soul-sucking demon?"

"Yeah..." Buffy said. "My world is not - was not? - exactly, you know, all Normalsville. Though I'm suspecting the same would be true for you and like the eleventy-billion of us that are on this ship."

"Wouldn't that make our worlds normal and other worlds strange?" Superboy was both being cheeky, but also legitimately asking the question. It was a tactic he had picked up from Robin.

Buffy laughed at that. "Okay, point," she nodded. "I guess it's just weird. For the first fifteen years of my life, I was just...a girl, you know? And that was all I was. And then a somewhat creepy guy approaches me after school, and the next thing you know, I'm the only girl in the world who can fight back the forces of, well, all different kinds of hell." She shruged. "I sometimes miss being just a girl."

Superboy nodded, "I on the other hand was born knowing I was Superboy. Knowing a lot of stuff... But I never knew a childhood." His smile faded, "I am only really a few months old."

Buffy's look softened at that. "Did they give you false memories of a childhood?"

Superboy shook his head, "Nope, not even that. Just knowledge."

"Oh..." she frowned. "I'm so sorry. My sister...when they - and I'm sorry, but it's a long, crazy, convoluted story - when she was created, she was only created as, like, a pre-teen. My kid sister. But the powers that gave her to me gave all of us these fake memories. It was as though she'd always been with us. When we found out that wasn't the case...well, it nearly killed her. I'm sorry that you've had to go something, well, similar."

Superboy shrugged, "You have nothing to be sorry for. It's the only thing I ever knew."

"Hey!" called out Ben, waving at Superboy. "You've been awol. Did GlaDOS getcha?"

"GlaDOS?" He asked.

"Yeah you know, computer lady who offers cake?" Replied Ben. He wondered if Superboy had been repodded for a little bit.

Superboy shrugged, he had no idea what he was talking about.

"Huh that's weird. Then again I heard she was out and about now." Ben shrugged and smirked. "Well in any case, glad to see you around again. I was getting worried and all."

Superboy looked down, "I wish I knew what happened."

"It is kinda weird. I mean if you weren't in GlaDOS, then I'm kinda stumped," remarked Ben. "Could go see about retracing your steps."

"I... wouldn't know where to start." He said, "You still have room for me at your place right?"

"All the time," replied Ben. "It's not like we invited more people in since the last podpop. Your room's all ready for you."

"Thanks." He thought for a moment, "Since I can't do anything to figure out what happened to me. Whaddya wanna do?"

"Well have you seen the sensoriums yet? Those are fun." Ben honestly had a poor memory at times, when he wasn't being hyper focused so he was wondering if Superboy had seen it.

"Yeah! We can watch static!" Yeah... Superboy is strange.

"Static? Oh man it can do anything more than static. C'mon, we're just a little ways away from them. I'll you something that I used to do in my childhood."

"Okay." He said. He was a little disappointed that they weren't gonna watch Static, but whatever Ben wanted had to be pretty cool too.

Leading him towards the place, he recreated what appeared to be a cartoonish style place, and ninjas everywhere. "I spent my childhood playing this game, it's called Sumo Slammers. I once got sucked into a video game actually."

"So we just... beat them up?" Superboy asked. This was a game he could get into!

"Yep! You see a ninja, you beat them up." He struck his watch and in a flash of light, was Four Arms. "Ready?"

BEAT DOWN ON NINJAS! Also throwing of them, crushing of them, using them to beat up the other ninjas. Superboy was fairly invulnerable and the ninja's weren't super strong so it was less a game for him and more just... beating up helpless stooges he didn't have to worry about injuring.

Which he supposes is totally a game now that he thinks about it.

Likewise, Ben was having the time of his life. Nothing like good old physical violence in a controlled reaction to be some of the fun a couple of teenagers needed. "Enjoying yourself?"

Superboy grabbed a ninja ad threw it into another group of ninjas topping them over. He then smirked at Ben, "That answer your question?"

Ben laughed at that and barreled into a pile of ninjas, tossing them everywhere. "Glad to see you're having fun then!"

Superboy kicked another ninja, "This is to easy. Got anything harder?" He then chucked a ninja and it flew away into a star in the sky.

"I could dial it up," said Ben, the surroundings changing to enormous giant robots with lasers.

The change was instantaneous and rather than throwing a Ninja, Superboy was kicked through a building by a giant robot. Then lasered. It actually hurt a little.

This of course did nothing but make him angrier and then he dented the giant robot with a massive leap and punch. Then another robot kicked him through another building. This wasn't exactly more FUN, but it was training. Superboy liked training.

"Holding up there okay?" inquired Ben, calling over his shoulder. "If you want to change the scenario feel free!"

A green creature crouched in a tree, staring at Superboy through the leaves. There was also a boy with a yellow mouse under the tree, but, as they were napping, they were completely unaware of Superboy.

Superboy was aware of said creature, and said sleeping boy for that matter, cause super senses, but he didn't really pay them much attention. He had other things on his mind. Also, small green creatures wasn't that strange for the ship.

"Sceptile!" the lizard, who was actually the size of a man, chirped.

"Snrrk" Ash snorted, waking up in shock "Where's the fire?!"

"GAH!" Superboy yelped, cause GIANT LIZARD! He almost punched the giant lizard before he noticed the boy laying by the tree.
