A Nice Meal [Open]
For the most part, Sasami knew that the newcomers would be looking for something good to eat. While she had forgotten to mention it in her introduction post on the omnicomms, she made sure that her little restaurant was set up and ready for anyone who wanted a nice meal away from the slop.
The rules were pretty much laid out for what the crew - new and old - could and couldn't have and made sure that they didn't try to get more than she allowed - the food had to last until their next stop.
Now, came the hard part - waiting. Would anyone notice and stop by? The First Tree Cafe's open for business, everyone!

It felt good to be able to spread her culture around more than it had been.

Though, admittedly, the whole thing was making her hungry even more, which she tried to hide from Hoshi...

She did notice that Sasami was getting hungry, and she was, too. Well, when she cooked with her mother, she was allowed to snack on things time to time, so...
"Say, Sasami. Do you have some pretzels around or just a light snack?" she asked, giving her a little look.

"H-HOSHI!"

"You okay?" she asked, in which this move made her drop a couple of things, but it was like spilled milk. You didn't cry over it.

"Y-Yes, I'm fine." she said. "Thanks to you. I... I guess I missed a spot cleaning up."
no subject
"All we have to do is just clean it up, no worries. I'll get a mop and some water."

It was a scary experience, to say the least.

"Ah... no, not really. I... really didn't think I'd needed one."

She made sure to make her words big so that it'd be seen by everyone. Then, she placed it over where the wet floor was and smiled. "All done!"

"Oop, we'd better make sure the cake's okay!"

"It's okay, Sasami! We're all set!"

"Great...!"

There was flour, eggs, and other things on her pants, but she didn't mind the mess on her pants at all. As long as Sasami was okay, that was all that mattered.

But, for now, she opted to put it aside and help her sister continue cooking.

She went to place the melonpan in another oven, turning the temperature up just to where it was supposed to be.
"There we go!"

"I'm gonna have to write this down. Do you have a specials board, Sasami?" she asked over her shoulder as she was getting the ingredients necessary.

...and that white and pink princess-y outfit she got from their last stop.

A smile crossed her lips and she went back to paying attention to the task at hand.

"Is this what you're looking for? It's probably the closest thing I got."
