Our War Game (Open)

Taichi had discovered the sensoriums. OH YES. This was perfect, like one big video game. Only not. Still, he had come up with an interesting revisit to an old favorite: him and Agumon vs Armageddemon.

"Hey, Taichi, don't you think this is a little overkill?" inquired Agumon as he stood next to his partner, watching the giant egg hover overhead, preparing for battle.

"What's the worst that could happen, Agumon? The computer lady said it was perfectly safe and our own ideas dictate the outcome. Totally cool with it." He clapped Agumon on the shoulder. "Trust me, nothing can go wrong with this!"

"Well all right. Battle start then!"

There was a visible countdown in the air as the egg hatched, and the huge spider-like Digimon erupted from it, bellowing its war cry.

"Agumon, warp evolve!" A pillar of light erupted around Agumon and when it receded, a huge bipedal dinosaur man stood there. "War Greymon!"

"ATTACK!" exclaimed Taichi, seconds before Armageddmon fired on their location. A glowing shield popped up around Taichi and he was pleased that he managed to think up a forcefield for himself as War Greymon charged in.

Hurling the Gaia Force, it impacted and Armageddemon took some damage from it, being blown back from the force of the impact. "That helps," said War Greymon, pleased he could actually do some form of damage.

"It looks like we'll have to work as a team," Hoshi said to War Greymon while looking at Seraphiel. It was like forming Double all over again, but in a new way.

"Ready, friend?"

"Sounds good to me. We'll hit him together then." replied War Greymon. "On three."

Hoshi nodded as she got Seraphiel ready to help fight with her, standing ready.

"Three... two..."

"One! GAIA FORCE!" Hurl.

"NAZCA STRIKER!" And a mighty slash came from Hoshi to join with War Greymon's Gaia Force attack.

BOOM. In a shower of data, Armageddemon exploded much to Taichi's whooping warcry. "Wow that was awesome!"

Hoshi grinned and gave War Greymon a double high five and then turned around to give Taichi one, as well.

"It was all thanks to the power of team work!"

"Usually how it goes," laughed Taichi, giving his high five back.

"Yep! Anyway, I'm Hikari Hoshi, last name, first! Nice to meet you and thank you so much for the training session!"

"Taichi Yagami and this is Agumon." War Greymon glowed and reverted to Agumon.

"Hungry." remarked Agumon. "I could eat a couple of bowls of that gross slop I'm so starved."

"A pleasure to meet you, Taichi and Agumon."

She looked at Agumon before grinning a bit. "How does a nice, warm home cooked meal sound instead of that slop? I'll make it special just for you."

"Food? Really? All right! I'll take you up on that offer!" exclaimed Agumon.

"He'll do anything for food," chuckled Taichi. "All right, sounds good."

"Awesome! I'll make you something, too, Taichi," Hoshi replied, moving to walk out of the Sensoriums. Maybe she'd ought to take one of the Ridevendors to the Masaki home, but one question she had was if they had a sidecar attached to them.

Well, maybe they did. If not, there was always walking to their destination!
