Our War Game (Open)

Taichi had discovered the sensoriums. OH YES. This was perfect, like one big video game. Only not. Still, he had come up with an interesting revisit to an old favorite: him and Agumon vs Armageddemon.

"Hey, Taichi, don't you think this is a little overkill?" inquired Agumon as he stood next to his partner, watching the giant egg hover overhead, preparing for battle.

"What's the worst that could happen, Agumon? The computer lady said it was perfectly safe and our own ideas dictate the outcome. Totally cool with it." He clapped Agumon on the shoulder. "Trust me, nothing can go wrong with this!"

"Well all right. Battle start then!"

There was a visible countdown in the air as the egg hatched, and the huge spider-like Digimon erupted from it, bellowing its war cry.

"Agumon, warp evolve!" A pillar of light erupted around Agumon and when it receded, a huge bipedal dinosaur man stood there. "War Greymon!"

"ATTACK!" exclaimed Taichi, seconds before Armageddmon fired on their location. A glowing shield popped up around Taichi and he was pleased that he managed to think up a forcefield for himself as War Greymon charged in.

"True. Hey War Greymon! Dodge man, dodge!"

"Trying!" retorted War Greymon, firing another Gaia Force once he peeled himself out of the bridge.

Hikari kept watching, really glad this wasn't actually real.

Tailmon just sighed, looking over at the battle. "Well, when you're done being an idiot about this, let us know so the two of us can train."

"Oh c'mon he's fine. Really! This is great training--" WHUMP. War Greymon was now one with the roadside. "After that."

Hikari and Tailmon both sighed, waiting for War Greymon to decide to give up. Or Taichi to decide to stop it. Or something like that.

"All right, all right." grumbled Taichi, his flawed master plan come to moot. "Pack it in War Greymon!"

"Finally," groaned War Greymon, flying over as Armageddemon suddenly exploded. "... I didn't do it."

"No I did that," replied Taichi. "Kinda cool huh?"

Hikari just giggled at that. "Figures that you'd end it that way!"

"Explosions are cool!" exclaimed Taichi in his affirmed manner.

War Greymon gave him a look as he thought, 'I wonder how he'd feel if he exploded...'

Hikari and Tailmon both shook their heads at that.

"So, you done with this?" Tailmon asked.

"Yeah I think so. We're really not getting anywhere with it." admitted Taichi.

Hikari smiled, looking over to Tailmon. "You ready to start training then?"

Tailmon smirked. "I've been ready since we walked in."

Hikari nodded, before pulling out her D3. "Okay."

And in a flash, Tailmon evolved to Angewoman before Hikari started to pull out a card that Taichi would not recognize at all.

"Nice to see you're still able to do that," said War Greymon as Taichi noticed the card.

"What's that? A card of some kind?" inquired Taichi.

Hikari giggled, looking over at Taichi as Angewomon smirked. "Yep."

And then she let out a shout of "Adeat!" and there was a flash of light that engulfed her.

Taichi shielded his eyes for a brief moment, and then for the life of him, stared for a moment. "What was that all about?"

Well, what that was about should've became obvious as Hikari appeared wearing a rather revealing outfit (http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g56/shaungarin/Pactio/hikaripactiocopy.png). She smiled at him for a moment, before Angewomon turned to her.

"So, what are we going to be doing with training? Obviously not something as one-sided as they tried to do."

Hikari shrugged, thinking about it for a moment. "Well, we could try group fighting. Or one-on-one. Which idea do you like better?"

Taichi tried to get his mouth to work at the outfit that she wore. My god that was incredible, er I mean--!

"Congrats you stunned Taichi into silence," replied War Greymon. "Maybe one on one. Unless Taichi's still trying to put his brain together. Be my dance partner Angewomon?"

"Since when did you actually get quippy lines?!" exclaimed Taichi, snapping out of his open mouthed motion. "Hikari what is that?! It looks awesome but what the hell is it?"

Hikari blinked, looking over at Taichi and then down at her outfit. Oh hey, it was pretty revealing, wasn't it. "It's called a Pactio. I don't know why the outfit's like that but it lets me do more than just stand around."

Angewomon shrugged. "I'm fine with that. Though it might not be fair for Hikari to work against Taichi..."

"We could see how it works out," said Taichi, thumping his chest. "I'm sturdy enough. C'mon hit me Hikari."

Well, okay. If he really wanted to...

"Alright Oniichan!"

And with that, she thrust her hand forward and sent a pink energy beam right towards her brother's chest.

WHUMP. And Taichi went flying onto his back.

He lay there for a moment, dazed before sitting up. "You get laser beams? Man I want one of those!"

Hikari giggled at that. "Well, I'll see what we can do, okay?"

She didn't want to mention that she had to kiss a boy to get these powers, after all.

Taichi nodded and grinned. "That's pretty amazing to be honest. Any more tricks?"
