Kitty Amazing (Open)

There was a new arrival on the ship, one that had been released quite unexpectedly. It had watched the humans mingle, and it was now prowling around the inhabited areas of the city. It was smart, and knew it needed to find his master.

"Meow," said Mick, holding what appeared to be a Gaia Memory in his mouth, wearing a belt.

(ooc: Philip's probably somewhere here, so is Shotarou and anyone else. Bendy time will allow for multiple "return to Sonozaki if Found" scenarios.)

Instead of riding on a motorcycle to get around for now, Hoshi decided to take a walk around the city just to get some good exercise in.

She blinked and looked around in the city when she heard meowing. There was a cat around here? Well, she had to find their owner!

"Kitty, kitty, kitty," she said, making a slight clicking noise with her mouth while making little steps here and there to hopefully get the cat out of hiding.

What was this? A human, and not his own. But seemed to have the same smell as his master. Maybe they were close?

Carefully Mick slunk out of the hiding spot, tail twitching.

"Hey there," Hoshi said, kneeling down on the ground while stretching her hand out for him to sniff.

She did notice the belt and the Gaia Memory, a slight confused look on her face. Well, that gave her enough confirmation that this cat belonged to Philip or Shoutarou. She'd have to bring the cat over to her partner when she gained his trust.

Sniff sniff. Hmm, she didn't seem normal. She smelled of Riders. Mikku gave her a long furry look, his kitty expression impassive.

Tentatively, he reached out with his head and nuzzled her hand.

"You're a good boy, aren't you?" Hoshi asked as she stroked his head, keeping her position where it was.

She looked around to see where an identification tag on him would be to hopefully get a name, if anything.

Mikku didn't wear a tag but you should notice that there's a little tag with a stylized kanji reading "Mick" on the belt, almost too small to read.

Maybe you should call Philip or Shotarou? Mikku's going to nuzzle your hand, purring a little.

Hoshi did, indeed, have to strain her eyes to read the tag. "Your name is Mick, huh? Mine's Hoshi," she said in a gentle voice.

However, she took out her own StagPhone and dialed a number on it. "Philip, I found a cat here that has a Gaia Memory. His name is Mick," she said through the line, still petting Mikku all the while.

There was an audible spittake from the other side of the Phone when it picked up. [WHAT?! Mikku's on the ship? Stay right there Hoshi, we'll be there in a bit. Oh, and don't let it use it's Gaia Memory. Bad things happen if that happens.]

Mikku meowed at that. He had heard his master's worried voice. Honestly, these humans. He knew better than to Dopant Rampage. Sheesh.

"Got it. I'll stay right where I am," Hoshi said as she hung her phone up and stashed it away.

"Do you want something to eat? I've got a granola bar," she asked Mikku, making sure he didn't use his Gaia Memory.

Granola. Meh. Well it was better than starving. He was so used to the posh cat food he was fed every day by Ryuubee and then Shotarou. Still, his tail flicked side to side, accepting this.

Hoshi nodded, taking the granola bar out of her vest and broke off a piece of it, holding it out in her hand for him to eat.

Nibble nibble. Hmm, not bad. A little dry but that was something Mikku could bear with.

Soon, the rumble of motorcycles answered him, and Mikku looked up from his impromptu meal, tail swishing as Raito got off.

Philip sighed. "Mikku there you are. I was wondering when you'd wake up."

Rarity heard the meow and she looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of a white cat. "Opalescence? Is that you? Come out, Opal."

Her horn glowed to illuminate the place and she searched the corners for her pet.

Hmm, a pony? One with odd coloring. And it didn't look or smell like a dopant.

Curiously, Mick crawled out of hiding and set his Gaia Memory down. "Meow," he replied, purring at Rarity.

Rarity saw the grey cat and was a little disheartened that it was not her pet. However, she did sit down to observe it. "Hey there, are you lost?"

Oh so it was intelligent! Like him really. Mikku answered with a purr, sidling up and rubbing against Rarity's hoof. She could probably see the overlarge metal belt on his back no less, it was right there anyhow.

Rarity smiled as it rubbed against her hoof and she petted its head before scratching the sweet spot behind its ears. She noticed the belt and chuckled a bit. "So you like wearing accessories? My cat did too."

Mikku purred. Oh this pony was a cat lady, he could tell. Dressing up would be something Wakana would do to him but hey, he wasn't picky, right?

His tail flicked side to side eagerly as he nuzzled Rarity's hoof to get more scratching. Mmmm scratching~

Rarity petted him some more before taking out her omnicom to write a message (http://trans-channel.livejournal.com/363465.html/). When she was done, she eyed the grey feline. "You certainly need a bit of grooming."

Her horn glowed and she worked the magic on its fur, smoothing out its coat.

Oh a grooming! Perfect. Mikku hadn't had a grooming in ages, and the tentacles did nothing for messy fur. He purred again, letting the tickling magic work its wonders.

Rarity also got rid of any remnants of slime and dirt in the process. She decided to leave the belt alone. Something about it screamed 'DON'T TOUCH'.

"You're a good cat. I wonder what's your name."

Shoutarou showed up soon, following the map on his Stag Phone, but he stopped several feet away. There was Mick, yeah, but...

Talking. Unicorn. What.

"WHAT IN THE WORLD?!"

Oh yeah that's right. The Shotarou-human person was always loud. Mikku flicked his ears a little as he clearly gave him a kitty glare for hurting his ears.

Arhu trotted through the city as well, tail held confidently up into the air. Of course, he was trotting several feet above the ground on a web of temporarily-solidified air so that he could get over walls and the occasional building without issue, but that was just to make things a little easier.

His ears went forward hard at the sight of another feline, and he promptly leapt from his perch, dismissing the spell with a wave of his tail.

"Hunt's Luck, cousin!" he called in Ailuran, the feline language.

Well well, there was something that he hadn't expected to hear, an actual cat language. The accent was horrible in his opinion but hey, beggars can't be choosers. Mikku wasn't mute but the manner of speaking was a little different to him.

Even though Mikku couldn't actually "Talk" he communicated quite well with body language. "Meow." [And the same to you, young one. I am Mikku.]
