"Listening to others, considering well what they say" (Part 3: Maingate Hotel)

The Maingate Hotel was pretty extravagant, and an entire section of it had been eked out for the crew's use during their stay. They had several suites, three communal areas, a conference room, their own kitchen with a chef on call if they required her.

They were all teleported from the main teleport pad of the hotel into the conference room, which was a large enough room to be able to hold a group their size and had plenty of chairs arranged in a circular pattern so they could mostly all face each other or whoever was in the middle of the room.

Everyone had to settle down so they were all able to talk, and the meeting itself would have to be carefully controlled so they wouldn't all talk over each other. But they were up for the task, right?

[ooc: Guardian Setup, General Mingling, Clone Checkup, Newbie Briefing, General Briefing, More Mingling, Back to the Meeting, and The Idea Guy sections are open. "Tracking..." Jr. repeated. And then he just looked mad and upset. "I hope not. I really, really hope not. We wanted to find out what they were doing, didn't we? The other clones ... a lot of them are probably hiding, if we go looking for them and find them...!"

His voice was bordering on desperate. Jr. had lived his whole life with the burden that he had failed his brothers and sisters. Even though their circumstances were more or less fucked no matter what happened, even though they wouldn't have lived past the war if they had continued their mission, Jr. had been their leader. Jr. had severed their link, leaving them victims to the waves that they were created to counter. Finding the others if they were actually being tracked would end the same way. But Jr. absolutely loathed the idea that he wouldn't be able to speak to or help them at all.

"Please, Sakura. Try to find out if they can do something like that. And if there's some way to block them off if they can! You can keep looking at mine, if you want."

"I will." She was promising even if she wasn't sure how to figure this out. Look at materials, maybe pull Lash or anyone else aside who knew more about the way technology could be used, see about blocking potential signal sendings. The Galileeans could stop communication; there had to be a way to do the same if the brands acted as tracking devices.

"Pending that, I should be able to destroy the brand on my own. I can't repair any cellular damage, but given the location, I should be able to encourage your system to do the regeneration for me." Her smile was a touch more grim. "We won't let them use you like that, no matter what's decided by the diplomats." Because it needed to be a decision. A willing one. There were others to send as infiltration if it came down to it -- outfitted with skills and means not forced upon them by the Galileean Council.
