Partnership. [closed]
As promised, Hoshi went over to the Atori Teahouse with the needed items in hand: the vinegar to get Philip out of the can he was stuck in and the two items she picked up for him as well. They were as wrapped as they were going to be, what with not having any wrapping paper on board. Not that it deterred her, though! It was the thought that counted.
She dismounted the HardBoiler when she reached the Atori Teahouse and then went inside, seeing her partner in the main room.
"Let me get a glass," she said, going into the kitchen to get a glass for Philip, the two items she brought over laid on one of the tables. When she returned, she poured him a glass of vinegar and handed it to him for him to take.

"So, hey. I got you a couple of things." She walked over and gave him the items she picked up from the Tapestry mission she had recently been sent on. One looked like a hat and it wasn't too clear on what the other item could have been.

The second one, he opened up and in it was a carved box. When he opened it up, it began to play a little tune of its own. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYBzFxOMKBw)
"It's wonderful."

"I had a feeling that you might like those, so they're yours."
To match her giggle was an overjoyed smile, brimming with happiness.

He hadn't quite shaken off the sense of forbidding when he looked up any data on the other mission. It was nagging on him because while it was obvious that he wouldn't find anything, all he found was a sealed book on it. He rather hoped anyone there was all right.

She glanced over at him, pursing her lips together in thought. Something had him a bit up in arms and she had a guess as to what it was.
"I can tell you what the Rom told those that went on the mission about the Tapestry."

"First, they asked us what we fought for, and I answered that I fight for my friends, family, and for the future. But, the Rom that were guarding the Tapestry were very old and very ancient. It was disheartening to see them crumble away before our eyes because they waited all this time for us to retrieve it," she said, pausing for a minute or two.
"When Cargn gave us the Tapestry, there were images of a fierce battle raging on an unknown world, the Ohm swarming an unknown city, battling the crew, then of a night sky with the moon up high in the sky, cracked in half, with the world below it burning."
She decided to stop there for now, allowing Philip to catch up to the information she gave. She also was struggling with the final image they all saw.

"There's something else in there, isn't it?"

Steeling her emotions for the time being, Hoshi shook her head a little bit. "The final image we were shown was of someone or something inside of a pod then with someone's hand resting on the pod itself. The pod was on the Observation Deck with music playing and the person playing words. Then, the pod was sent into space."
She paused and swallowed a bit. "It was a funeral for one of the crew members."

Why was it that she felt completely at ease with Philip and able to share whatever was on her mind without having it shot down? It was a feeling she didn't want to give up, that's for sure.

"You wouldn't mind me taking a nap here?" she asked, a little taken back by his offer.

She sat down on the couch, slipping off her vest along with her headband and gloves. Then, she grabbed one of the throws that were around and wrapped herself up in it.
