Stargazing Take 2 [Open]

Feldt had been in the hangar for quite a while. She had managed to get the parts that she needed to repair the Celestial Being Gundams, but it had taken her a long time to do it. Sure, she had the Meister's help, but they didn't have the swarm of Haros that they had back on the Ptolemy. The Haros were good with repairs, especially with the platforms that they had built for them.

She needed to relax and get away from the mobile suits and other pilots in the hangar. The Spacewalk was one of her favorite places to go. It was the closest thing to the viewing deck on the Ptolemy that she would get. Here she could just relax and watch the stars. She enjoyed doing it for so many ears. This was different, but still relaxing.

She didn't know how long she would be in here, but if any of the other Celestial Being members wanted to find her, they would know to start with the spacewalk. For now, she was just glad to be alone.

He nodded, somehow pleased that she had been taking his advice when he told her to rest. Even if she had to turn around and kick him out of the Hangar once she had gotten a good night's sleep, particularly after finding out that he'd been there working the whole time. Damn tattling haros.

Now they were both taking a break. Together.

"It seems to go on forever," he responded, staring out the window.

"It does," she said, looking over at him. It was nice to relax for a little while and not have to worry about the Gundams and let the Haros do some of the work for a while. She still couldn't relax fully, but it was still nice to watch the stars.

"There is an end to it. Somewhere." Relaxing wasn't in the nature of Setsuna F. Seiei. Still, he felt calmer around her, for some reason. "That's where we'll find our future."

"We will accomplish our goals," she said, looking back at him for a moment. She didn't specify just which goals, but she knew that he would understand what she meant. Celestial Being had goals, but they also had their own personal goals as well.

He made a thoughtful noise in agreement, but stayed quiet otherwise. He seemed to be considering her more than he was the view.

"What do you see out there?"

"Home. A future where the Gundams are no longer needed," she said, closing her eyes for a moment. She meant what she said. She really hoped for a future where the Gundams weren't needed. She just didn't know what she would do once that happened. Normal life? What's that?

Not like he knew either. What use is a warrior when there are no more battles to fight? He dedicated his life to making a future that wouldn't have any place for him.

"Its hard to imagine a peaceful life."

"It is, but I'm sure we can make it happen," she said, looking over at him. "It may take a long time, but we can do it."

She had confidence in the Meisters and the rest of Celestial Being. They were working towards a new future. She moved a little bit closer to Setsuna and went back to gazing at the stars.

He noticed her moving closer, and while he normally wouldn't have thought anything of it, his brain seemed to put an emphasis on that. Why it did remained a mystery to him, though. But he didn't move away.

"We will." That much he knew for sure. Though it did bring up an interesting question.

"What would you do without Celestial Being, though?" He's been on his own before, so he knew he'd survive. Feldt, though...

"I really don't know," she admitted. She had never thought about what she would do when Celestial Being was no longer needed. She hoped that Celestial Being would be able to accomplish their goals, but what was going to happen to her once that was done?

"I would find a way to live."

If they survived, they'd have no choice but to keep on living, wouldn't they?

"You'll be fine with-- with the others." And without him...

"Where will you be?" she asked. She didn't know why he had said with the others. Wouldn't he be there too? She didn't want to think about Celestial Being without him. She had spent several years trying to find him again and she didn't want to lose him.

"Point Z708.3YG2," he replied without even thinking about it. He surprised himself with that answer, as he had no idea where those coordinates came from, let alone exactly where they were.

He looked confused for a moment, before growing annoyed at himself. He looked to the side, away from Feldt, and glared at the hallway.

She looked over at him, surprised to hear coordinates. She wasn't even sure where that was, let alone where it came from. She knew that he had been remembering things that he hadn't before, but this was a bit much.

She turned back to the stars, unsure of what to say. Just how long would he be gone? She wasn't sure, but she'd survive...right?

Her lack of response was telling. Though Setsuna was the kind of guy who tended to speak in silences, and listened as much in so. He didn't have an answer to any of her questions, or even to any of his own.
