Only Way is Up. [open, bendytimed before Tapestry]
( OOC: As well as a couple days after this log. )
After the failed attempt with Xtreme, at least in her eyes, Hoshi wondered what could be wrong with her unable to sustain the henshin for as long as she could with the other forms. Although, on one of the days where she busied herself around Stacy, she came upon the answer. Of course it had to be that! Her endurance and stamina waned because she went without a good beyblade match in months.
Sure, she trained during the mornings as well as a little bit at night, but without some good old fashioned beyblading, which was high intensity and fast paced all on its' own, she wouldn't be in her tip top shape that she normally would be.
And so, that's what led her to the Sensoriums once more. It wouldn't have the same effect as it would back home, but she would try her best to replicate it.
The walls dissipated for an arena, just like the one she found here on Stacy, but instead of just one opponent, she was up against three beybladers. Then, with a swift movement, she grabbed both her beyblade out of its' pouch and her launcher, setting the two of them up. She stood with her beyblade with the tip pointed up to the ceiling, her legs spread out. After a three second countdown, all of the beybladers released their respective beyblades into the dish, ready to give it their all.
"You can do it, Seraphiel! Show them what for!" she called out, ready to get her game backto where it was normally.
Care to watch or ask what she's doing?

"Seraphiel, give it all you've got!" she called, watching Seraphiel go right into the middle of the beyblades, trying to push them off with rather surprising strength.
Philip was right. This sport did put a considerable strain on her, but she enjoyed it through and through.

"Seraphiel! Cast judgment upon all ye who are guilty!" she said as the archangel holy beast was summoned from the beyblade itself and going after his opponents with a mighty strike of his cross while Hoshi's hands were tightly balled into fists, her feet planted into the floor itself.

"Hoshi," he called out, stepping up. "Let's adjust the simulation a little."
And he attached the Lost Driver to his middle. "As a first experiment, we'll go with the Lost Driver."
"Henshin!" And in a flash of light, he was transformed into Cyclone.

"What idea do you have in mind?" she asked, interested to see what he had in mind.

He looked over at the familiar Dopant and cracked his knuckles, shaking his arms out. "Ready?"
no subject
She took in a breath and smiled. "Yeah, I am. Let's start."

With the Dopant coming to life, it teased the pair with a mocking, "I think this is going to hurt!" And Philip danced out of the way of the needle attack which exploded in the wall.

Hoshi moved as best as she could from the needles that were fired in their direction, keeping her eyes peeled for the next needle to be shot. She was also trying to keep up with Philip's pace all the while.

Catching himself, he steeled himself as he went in for a few blows.

She cast a glance towards Seraphiel and nodded at her holy beast. In a brilliant burst of light, he transformed into his archangel form. "Seraphiel! Cast judgment upon all ye who are guilty!"
When the command was given, the archangel holy beast went in and whammed his cross down on the Liar Dopant, getting a good enough hit on it. However, he wasn't done with just one attack. The Dopant moved over to Hoshi and stood in front of her.
"Look at you. You're nothing short of pathetic. You should just do what's expected of girls your age -- learn how to clean, cook, and stay at home to tend to things," spoke the Dopant.
Block him out, Hoshi. You know better, she told herself.
"You're not fit to be a captain of any kind. Go home and play with your dolls."
"What do you know?!" she shouted, still trying her best to block the Dopant's jeers out of her mind.

Cyclone looked over at Hoshi. "Steel yourself, and time the attack just right with me."
no subject
She steeled herself, despite the change and kept an eye on what Philip was doing. Nodding, she took a glance towards Seraphiel, deciding to turn it up a notch or two.
"SERAPHIEL! Come forth and make all the sinners pay! ELYSIUM FINAL!" she said at the same time as Philip, seeing feathers emerging to trap the Dopant in place. Then, a tremendous amount of light came forth as Seraphiel took his hand off of his cross and threw it towards their enemy, causing the ground to shake when it hit the ground.
What came next was a single nod from Seraphiel to hopefully eliminate the Dopant with the added strength of the Maximum Drive.

The combined attacks slammed home and the Liar Dopant exploded, the Gaia Memory ejecting itself and flinging it away. Said user fell to the ground, unconscious before the simulation fizzled away.
Landing, Philip undid his transformation. "I think we've got a basic idea going on."
no subject
She wiped the sweat from her brow off with the sleeve of her shirt, shaking her head. Out of the two attacks Seraphiel had, Elysium Final did require a good sized amount of strength and focus with it.

"All right. Is your shoulder okay?"

It felt good, as well as calming, to let the proverbial shield down once in a while, which Philip helped with that part.
"Say, do you wanna go somewhere just to relax?" she asked while she opened her hand for her beyblade, it instantly coming into her hand.

"Guess this is the place," she said, looking around. They were in the living room with three couches surrounding the TV with a coffee table in the middle. There were a few pictures of her family around with a couple of vases for flowers around.

He could feel that it was lived in, comfortable. Safe. It was a place to hang a hat in.

"I can show you around, if you'd like."

Inside, she had a bed with a Japanese flag up above her bed with a few bandages around the nightstand.
"This must be when I had my accident."
