Her Flight [semi-open]
Somewhere inside the vast dome of the City, Signum floated, transformed into her battle gear, eyes closed and mind reaching out to the ship for magical reactions. The presence of Stacy's mind - not magic per se, but still psychically loud - was a constant buzz, but her senses floated to smaller, brighter sparks, aided by what she held in her hands - the "Book of Darkness" that she had taken up last week. She'd been confused, then, but now that the Administration Program was back in her proper place, it was time to start filling the pages again. She'd dawdled too long on this ship, trusting 'Stacy' to keep Hayate safe (ha!), even socializing with the time-displaced Bureau mages who had been trying to stop her before all this...
She reaches out for magical reactions. People she knew - Nanoha and Testarossa (avoid at all costs), Aibghalien (noted), Hayate (...) - and others she didn't, or whom she was merely acquainted with through the Magic Department.
Ha. A Wolkenritter joining such an organization. That was possibly her least thought-out bit of subterfuge here. They had nothing to offer her, unless some bleeding hearts were willing to sacrifice mana...but that clearly wouldn't happen. No, no, it's definitely time to go back to doing this the old-fashioned way. The very old-fashioned way, since her comrades were all still in the pods.
Yes, she'd have to be careful, but the danger was worth it. To live quietly with her Master, even in this besieged cave of a starship...that was what mattered.
She focuses in on a magical signature and swoops quietly towards it, preparing a Barrier to isolate herself with the victim. Hopefully, they'd fall quickly and painlessly...
((Okay friends, reply to this post if you a) have magical powers and want to have a fight with Signum over them or b) spot Signum and want to stop her. Threads will probably take place in skewed pocket dimensions called Barriers for privacy, but these can be broken into if you like. Expect fighting! Signum isn't in the mood to talk. Further details can be found here. If you signed up to get mugged and want to do it in another post, just let me know.))

The sword in her hand breaks apart and expands into what Bight would probably call a spiked chain with a sword's hilt, and flying above him, she uses it to rain down blows at his head from outside the great sword's reach.

Not waiting for her attack he called upon his inner powers to bring forth a cloud of fog. The thick and sudden fog spreading around him making the seemingly human Bight a hard target. Stepping aside and bringing up his blade to deflect the initial attacks as they came. "You'll have to do better than that,"
no subject
Her attacks stop for a second as she loads a Cartridge into Laevatein's hilt, and the entire length of chain erupts into flame. Spinning it in a spiral, a wall of flames washes over the area of the fog cloud, burning it and (hopefully) Bight away.
no subject
Not a moment after it is cast the spell shows its usefulness as that wall of flames descends upon him, burning away the fog but leaving the one standing in its center even as a good portion of the flame swirls about the human Bight before curling up and burning a path right back to its origin above. Not waiting to see the results though he begins the motions for a second spell, perhaps she would try and disrupt him, perhaps not.

I actually rolled d100 for this just for fun. Might not keep it for another round, though
That's Fine!

She was slightly faster than this man, but his strength was overwhelming. The only recourse Signum sees is to keep up the pressure until he makes a mistake...or she does and gets turned into a bloody smear by the greatsword. Thus, she rains several short blows downward at Bight's head, trying to stay inside his larger sword's effective reach and keep him on the defensive.

With a thought he once more called up the fog around them both, leaping back even as the fog came into existence with all his strength he threw the great sword towards her, an attack aimed to distract even as a bright golden light suddenly lit the fog, one that appeared to be growing rather rapidly.
no subject
Why the hell had he just thrown his weapon away? No self-respecting warrior would do that without a backup plan...or a better weapon. Had he been holding back?
With that in mind, Signum waits warily above the fog, her own blade still in hand and ready against any sudden movement.

She would not have to wait long as a large draconic head loomed rose out of the fog to swing directly up towards Signum inhaling deeply as it went before suddenly expelling a large cone of gas directly towards Signum's position. The gas if inhaled would if she couldn't resist it, fill her with the urge to run as far from the dragon as she could get.

Signum dashes away from the beast's muzzle as it rears back for some kind of attack, but still gets a faceful of the noxious - if nonlethal - gas. Head spinning at the foreigh agent, Signum nonetheless flies up, emerging from the cloud coughing and shaking her head. She'd gotten a lungful of it, but it would take more than that to break the resolve of a Wolkenritter.
Looking down at the bronze beast and sizing him up, however, Signum is tempted to make a tactical retreat anyway. Dragons are the most serious of serious business when it comes to magical fauna, and this one was presumably as intelligent as the swordsman who had apparently transformed into it. Her mind goes back to an earlier idle conversation with Aibghalien, and she quickly prays that this man was similarly limited.
Not counting on that, though, Signum gains more altitude and probes this new form's defenses with her chain-whip sword, aiming right for the eyes to start with.
Really sorry for the delay >.<
Even as he rises the dragon's large claws move to complete arcane gestures, sparks of electricity arcing between claws as he intones the spell, darting his head to the side from the probing strikes at his eyes, closing the scaled lid to the eye she was striking at, letting them glance off his scales at this point. His concentration on the spell unfaltering as he completes it, opening his maw as electricity arcs between his rather large teeth before a bolt of Lightning seared through the air toward her and her chain whip.
Not a problem. Backtagging is always fun.
The scattering bolts of the spell catch Signum - who's forgotten most of her fights with Testarossa and her lightning-using protegé - off-guard, zapping her painfully through her magical armor. She clenches her teeth to avoid crying out, looping around the dragon now that it was airborne. It was big, and obviously dangerous at all ranges, but she should be more maneuverable...
Signum's sword surges with renewed magical fire as it detonates and ejects a Cartridge for extra power. The knight continues her loop in a faster spiral, making a curved aerial charge under the dragon's wing, attempting to get behind it and stab its scaly back with her fiery sword. Not very chivalrous, but it's a dragon. Not being rent by claws is more of a priority than polite dueling.
That it is indeed.
Driving himself higher above the city with sweeps of his powerful wings, tracking her motions as she began to loop around him. Rapidly surveying his options, she was clearly more maneuverable in the air and had a sword that was at the very least a considerably powerful magical item, even if it was considerably small compared to his current form but nevertheless potentially dangerous.
Her charge does not go unnoticed, twisting in the air he attempts a swipe at her with one of his front claws, a difficult strike though due to the angle of her attack and one that would likely miss. Nevertheless even as she attempts to get behind him he swivels his head right around, trying to back stab a dragon? He would not have any of that, she would have the brief moment to strike before a near blinding beam of searing light would tear from his maw and mere feet from his back.

Signum is nearly thrown by the roll, but hangs on tightly and endeavors to stab Laevatein into the dragon's hide, both to attack it and get a better grip. It's either that, or be thrown, and Signum doesn't like her chances anywhere but where she is right now.

The river below rapidly rushed up towards them, it would not take them long to reach it. Growling at the sudden sting of the swordswoman's sword jabbed into his thick scales, not deep enough however to do any considerable damage, but it would give her a good handhold.
Even as they closed rapidly on the river below he weaved yet another spell, one that would hopefully dispel the barrier around them, before they reached the river itself, intoning steadily,"Seilor duulo wer arcaniss!" energy building up over his scales as the spell reached its crescendo, unleashing a wave of white disruptive energy near two hundred feet in all directions, hopefully snapping them free of the barrier even at the same moment as drew his wings in and plunged in a shallow dive into the river.

Oh, and now she was in front of the dragon instead of behind him, and embarassingly enough the water was causing Laevatein problems in maintaining its fire.
All things considers, standing in water while facing down a huge, spellcasting reptile that can throw electrical bolts, Signum decides that this time, discretion is the better part of her mission and her chivalry and takes off, moving away from the dragon before it can, hopefully, orient itself.
