An interesting manner of shielding, different to some he'd seen, though the purpose of his spell had been to deflect and distract rather than harm, to which it had succeeded to some degree. Using the distraction to his advantage he quickly completed the motions to his next spell, drawing up the energy as he intoned in draconic, "Aungwey sia wiot!" He was unsure if such a spell of confusion would work on his current foe, and if not he would apply spells of a far more direct nature.
