Tracing the Situation [OPEN]
To be honest, he never thought he'd need something like this here, but the situation had pretty much come down to this.
Working in Engineering, Peter was building something of his that had been a real good friend of his - "Spider-Tracers", tiny bug-like devices attuned to his Spider-Sense, basically becoming homing beacons for when he wants to find something or someone.
A few minutes later, garbed in the Iron Spider costume, he began hunting down a set of tracers that were scattered and systematically activated at the same time. Feeling his Spider-Sense trigger at their activations, he could tell they were working.
"Alright, that's one test down. All the tracers are working." he said, a small readout on his mask opticals bringing up that they were all active. "Now, let's see if I can find them." Without a second thought, he swung off to find his tracers. Now, the real test began.

His second was to figure out what was setting it off, and, eventually, he found one of the tracers.
"What the hell?"

Landing by the wall, Peter arrived to see that his younger self had found one of the tracers. "Looks like I forgot to take into affect 'other mes'."

A beat.
"I might have to make sure I do the signal thing as well, just in case I lose my Spider-Sense again."

"Speaking of your ideas? I kinda crashed the Spider-Mobile into an antique store in the process of stopping some carjackers who stole it and had to sell it off to pay for the damages." Peter said, scratching the back of his head awkwardly.
"Good news is, Starfire got some help and is building a new one, for reasons that're beyond me."

Though, hearing the bit about Starfire...
"Starfire... oh, the kid with super strength!" Peter said, kinda recognizing her. Only kid here WITH it. "Maybe she likes you...!"

"Seriously though, we're just friends", even if she was the one of the most beautiful and kindhearted people he had ever met...and he was going to shut off that that thought process right now. He knew where it was leading, and it had caused him nothing but trouble.
