All Hail the Conquering Heroes! [OPEN]

((Takes place several hours after the conclusion of this))

They survived. More than that, it seemed as if they actually won; the Ohm had successfully been driven away from their location. The fight hadn't been easy, which one could easily tell just by looking at the Quarter as it docked in back in Stacy's Hangar.

It had a number of dents, dings, and scorch marks where the Ohm had made their presence felt. Thankfully, there was no obvious serious damage. Still, though every crew member who went out was coming back, one had to wonder about their condition, particularly since they sent ahead a request for medics to be on standby.

But now that the ship was fully docked, and the main hatch opened, it was time to find out.

"At ease."

Firebugs? Leviathans? None of that was in the information that they were given. So either they were given shit intel, or the GIA knew and intentionally set them up.

And either answer pissed him off.

"How is the Councilor?" Leon didn't really understand this psychic crap any better than Trudy did, so he'd have to talk with the source. If that was even possible after trying to mind read the Ohm, or whatever she did.

"Neither of them were very conscious when we pulled them out of Setsuna's Gundam - which is a heap of twisted metal right now, the Ohm really did a number on it. They dogpiled on it once the Councilor was done with her psychic thing. I'm surprised they didn't completely obliterate it, but thank God for small blessings. The Quarter is a thing of beauty to see in action, sir, I'm sorry you missed it - she took out the Leviathan, and the rest of the frigates got caught in the explosion."

Trudy was grinning again. Leon had said 'at ease' and that meant she was free to celebrate how good her pilots were. She could hardly believe they'd won, but there it was. They'd won.
