[Open] because some people just don't pay attention to current events.
Sandy liked it in the city.
With everything so closed and cramped in the halls and the different areas of the ship nothing felt quite as open and free to her as running through the city.
It seemed to go on forever, and if she wasn't careful she'd find herself lost for who knows how long.
She had figured out a way past that though, between chalk and paint she had picked up on the last planet she was sure she could leave markers in places that would help her find her way back.
And so she traveled, running and jumping, up stairs and jumping from roof to roof or back down through the streets and buildings.

Roof to roof and then...dead end. There was a crumbled building too far for her to jump...
...but there was a rain gutter she could use. She shifted to stone and grabbed it carefully trying to guide herself down.
She had not however calculated the added weight. With a SNAP! The gutter tore away from the wall and she and it came tumbling down to land on the broken wall across the way.
"Heh...lucky!"

Then, struck by inspiration she dug around in her backpack and drew out some chalk. This spot would be a great place to draw the outline of a body like the police do.
Why?
Because she's young and thinks it would look cool. She lets her stone skin melt back into flesh as she begins her work kneeling on the crumbled wall where there was space large enough.

After all this guy looked like an alien. That had to be better then a grown up right?

Second response: Remember why you called him over here!
She held the piece of chalk up to him, "Here, trace me alright? Or I'll trace you. One of us has to lay here." The wall was at least in tact enough for that.

Or look silly, anyone's guess.

Scaling the building wasn't hard really. the only hard part came when she found a staircase that was broken but through some careful movements and keeping track of her path she'd found her way outside onto the buildings broad west side.
Risking a glance downwards Sandy smiled at the distance down. It put a flip in her stomach just like home.
She turned back to admire her workspace, unsure of just what to paint. It had to be simple, bright colors.
But unfortunately as she let her thoughts drift, the edge of the old structurally unsound office building crumbled and Sandy felt gravity sink it's claws into her shoulders pulling her backwards and off the ledge.
With a scream she fell and her self preservation instincts kicked in and her skin began to harden and solidify into stone. This just sped up the fall. If she was lucky something would break her fall...instead of breaking her.

A small sonic boom went off in the city, and then Clark was right under Sandy, catching her in his arms while hovering off the ground.
"Mind telling me how this happened?"

"I just...fell." She mumbled amazed before turning back to look at him. She'd long since gotten over super powers on this ship, so instead she clung to his shirt tightly, not comfortable enough to shift out of stone form. "Thanks that could have been bad." She laughed nervously.

Not that Midna couldn't fly, but she certainly couldn't move at that fast a clip.

"Just for future reference? I wouldn't recommend you playing around up there again." he said, descending back down to the ground.

"Yes, an excellent effort." She bowed briskly. "I'm afraid I have a prior appointment. But it was lucky that you were around."
