Go shoot, beyblade! [Totally Open]

If there was one thing Hoshi knew, it was to not let your body wane in strength. After getting her feet wet in what went on and the basics of the ship, she decided to go to the Sensoriums. The process of recreating the area where her team usually frequented was a bit complicated, but there it was.

It was a warehouse, the same one her and her teammates trained in. It was also big enough to run around in as well as beyblade in. There were a stack of boxes to one side as well as some equipment to train if the need was present. She was dressed in a simple white t-shirt and a pair of black shorts. Her hair was tied up into a ponytail with her hair away from her face.

She had one hand down on the ground, supporting her weight on her arm as her other arm was bent and behind her back. Her toes were firm against the ground and her body was in perfect push up position.

After a while of doing this, she got up and panted. She moved her arm up to dab at the sweat that collected on her forehead before she shook her head. Training was always fun and it was definitely needed after some time of not doing it.

"Training. I was warming my body up by doing a few stretches, coupled by push ups and sit ups. And then I would run a few laps," Hoshi explained to Sasami, relaxing after her warm up session.

"I decided to do it in a place that was most familiar with me so that I know where everything is."

"Oh...!" Sasami said, nodding in understanding. Then, it dawned on her - she used those beyblades, right? Then...

"...are you training for those 'beyblades'?"

"That I am. Beyblade training has to be intense because the matches themselves are," she replied to Sasami.

Then again, she was the kind who made the matches enjoyable on both sides.

Sasami blinked in surprise. It seemed odd to actually train for a top game. Of course, she remembered about Hoshi's companion and it seemed to make sense to her.

"I see..." she said, nodding.

Seraphiel had been her reason about training to her fullest potential so that she could wield his awesome power to the limit.

"Would you like to join or watch?"

"Can I watch? At least to see what to do?" Sasami asked, a little curious.

"Sure you can!"

Hoshi got down on her back on the ground and began to do a few sit ups. "You can join in, if you want to, Sasami."

"Well..." Sasami trailed off, a little hesitant, before nodding. "Okay! It probably wouldn't hurt, right?"

With that, Sasami moved to join Hoshi in sit ups... and not doing a good job on 'em.

"Here, lemme try something."

Hoshi broke off of her sit ups to go over to Sasami. She placed her hands on her feet to help hold her up. "If you can't go up all the way, Sasami, just go up some of the way. That's called a crunch."

"O-Okay...!"

With Hoshi holding her feet down, Sasami started to go for the crunches instead, faring a lot better than before.

"What this will do is help strengthen your abdomen. But, don't push against your neck or your head with your hands due to how this can cause injury. You can rest your head against your hands, however," said Hoshi intelligently. She always made sure to take care of her teammates through thick and thin.

"And then eventually, you'll feel the burn!"

Sasami nodded at the advice Hoshi gave her. "R-Right..." she said, struggling to keep going, only to flop backwards in exhaustion. "...I think I've hit my limit for right now..."

"That's okay. We'll start small and work from there," Hoshi replied gently while she had a soft smile on her face. She got up and went to go grab Sasami a bottle of water.

"Here. This should help."

"Thanks, Hoshi..." Sasami said, taking the bottle of water. "...and you do this all the time? I don't know if I could keep up. It could help in the long run, but..."

"You're welcome." Hoshi situated herself to sit down next to her Indian style. She nodded at her question, closing her eyes a little. "Yeah, I do. I try to take it slow and easy, but after a while, you just can't, you know?"

Sasami nodded at her statement. "Once you get into the move of things, it's hard to slow down. Though, I just started, so, it'll take me awhile to get up to where you are."

"I can imagine, and don't worry. I'll make sure to take care of you so that we don't have any owies or anything," Hoshi joked to her with a playful smirk on her face.

"Heeeey... I'm not like that!" Sasami said, pouting. She nudged herself over to Hoshi, however, showing that she didn't mean anything by it.

"I'm joking!" Hoshi quickly shot back with a warm, lighthearted laugh before she grinned, affectionately ruffling Sasami's hair in the process.

Sasami let out a giggle as Hoshi rubbed ruffled her hair a bit. "I know, I know...!" Calming down, she smiled at Hoshi.

"You know... I should introduce you to some of my other friends one day. I'm sure you'd enjoy seeing them."

"As long as you know," the older girl replied, winking at her.

At her offer, she couldn't help but smile at her. "I would love to meet the other friends you have, Sasami. I imagine they're just as amazing as you are."

Sasami blushed as she mentioned that her friends were as amazing as her.

"Aw... I'm not that great... besides, they're probably better than I am." she said, humility kicking in. "I'm sure you'd enjoy meeting them - Aqua-neesan, Hay Lin-neesan, ...Negi-kun..."

She trailed off, looking away. Maybe it was because they were older girls looking after her as well, but it felt odd giving Aqua and Hay Lin the '-neesan' title and at the mention of Negi's name, her blush deepened even more.

"Of course you are. You offered me a place to stay as well as an area to rest my head," stated Hoshi while she leaned back on her left hand. Her right arm rested along her lap to where the scars were clearly visible this way, but she supposed she didn't mind.

"What are Aqua and Hay Lin like? I've met Negi already at the bathhouse you invited me to." She noticed that at the mention of Negi's name that Sasami's blush deepened.

A crush? she thought to herself, tilting her head just a bit.

Sasami noticed the scars on Hoshi's arm, but didn't mind it. Or if she did, she was being courteous and not asking about them.

"Aqua just showed up. She seems nice, but... she seems worried. Scared. Like she needs someone to help her." Sasami said. "Hay Lin, well, she's as sweet as can be. I really think you'd like her...!"

"Negi... well... you've already met him, so..." she said, trailing off.

Hoshi wasn't particularly too concerned about her scars showing. In the kind of training outfit she was, it was inevitable that they'd show, lest if she decided a hoodie was something she needed to wear.

"I'll definitely have to meet both Aqua and Hay Lin soon," she said after Sasami explained about the two of them. With Aqua, her approach would be different, but with Hay Lin? She had a feeling she'd be just fine being her usual chipper self.

Her lips twitched into a smirk, but she decided to keep quiet about her thoughts. "So, this will strengthen our friendship just that much more!" she said, finishing off her train of thought. "Because we have mutual friends!"
