Sensorium, Gun Range [Open]

Javert's not fond of the Sensoriums, but he needed space to practice shooting; so there he was, at an old-fashioned gun range, practicing with imaginary powder and shot so as not to run low on his own sparse supplies. 

Anyone is free to approach him and ask why on earth he's still using single-shot, slow reloading, antique pistols that even when carefully aimed could barely hit the broadside of a barn.

He might even answer.

"Your grip is terrible." And there's a pair of massive hands changing the way she's holding the gun, and he steps back. "Stand like this." And he demonstrates, not letting up on his glare until she complies.

"Do it again." They could be here quite awhile.

Wyn definitely complies, though mostly because she has no choice. She fires again, glaring at the target as if that will help the bullet hit, and-- well, maybe it did help. There's a tiny, tiny nick near the top left, which is more than enough to make Wyn celebrate.

"I hit the target!" she says excitedly, bouncing some more. At least she's not flailing the gun around?

"...Bravo." Javert says dryly. He reloads the gun again before handing it back. "Again, but better."

Wyn hums softly to herself as she tries again. She's improving (slowly), as her next shot leaves a clearly visible hole on the target.

"So that was better. ... slightly."

"Indeed it was." Javert's voice was dripping with sardonic amusement. "If we continue on you may succeed in wounding your stationary attacker instead of startling him."

"... if he's stationary, doesn't that mean that he's either dead, asleep, tied up, or unconscious or something and I can just walk past without bothering to shoot him?" Wyn asks hopefully.

"Perhaps you would prefer the target be moving." And, thanks to the handy-dandy Sensoriums, now it is. Baaack and forth and Javert's getting a little too much sadistic enjoyment from this, perhaps.

Wyn is so not impressed with this new development. "Well, if we're going to be cheating..." she mutters, glaring at the moving target. She places Javert's gun gently on the ground and something that vaguely resembles a miniature raygun pops into her free hand. (Pay no attention to the fact that it's bright pink.)

She aims and fires her new weapon, and a very large portion of the target is suddenly just gone. It's really kind of a shame she doesn't have her beloved particle accelerator with her on Stacy.

Javert doesn't look very impressed. In fact, that raised eyebrow is thoroughly unimpressed.

"And can that leave this room?" He asks, unamused.

"It's kind of a long story, actually. The short-ish version is no, but I can build a new one. It probably won't be pink, though." Well, Wyn's happy with her fake-raygun in the Sensoriums, anyway.
